I liked this dress so much i bought it!! Seriously a classic black dress you can wear to a date or to work. Timeless.

Rented this for a job interview. Worked great but a cami underneath and generous fashion tape was needed to keep it "work friendly." Also found Spanx were a must as fabric clings to all bumps and curves. I usually wear a 6 and while the 6 did fit, I found the 8 worked better as it gave some extra length and coverage for a more professional look.

I usually wear an 8 but I got a 10 because I wanted more coverage on top. I have this dress in different colors/patterns but I wear them on date night and GNO. The 10 was perfect for work. More coverage!

You could wear this dress to anything. Work, wedding, funeral, graduation etc. I liked the length. It hit just above my knees and I'm 5'9". I used a safety pin to close the front at the bust. You could also wear a cami, if you don't want to show too much cleavage! The fabric is nice and sturdy with a good deal of stretch.

wore this classic DVF wrap dress for a job interview and want to buy it! it really is the perfect work dress and can easily go from day to night. the fit is true to size. i did have to use a safety pin for a little extra modesty, but it really wasn't overly revealing (was just erring on the safe side for the interview). love the small collar at the top and the neckline is lovely with or without a safety pin. nice material, great fit. adore this dress!

DVF knows how to make an attractive cut -- but per the other reviews, this dress runs small. I'm 5'5", 130 athletic lbs. I usually wear a 4 and sometimes a 2 at companies that inflate their sizes. Given that, I ordered a 4 in this. I did wear it out to dinner with friends -- but definitely would have looked better in a 6. The issue with being too small is not just in the top part -- but there's not enough overlap on the leg part that it just kinda flies open. I wore it with v opaque stockings. Also the arms are small. Overall could be cute -- I might order again as a 6.

The material was thicker than I had imagined, definitely a fall or winter dress. Diane yet again sizes way small, this was FORM fitting when typically I am swimming in sz 10 dresses. I would rent again in a 12, felt beautiful

Wore this to a work meeting and felt very powerful and sexy in it - just like DVF wants you to. I would order the next size up next time because I had to keep pulling the front flap over my leg. I ordered the 6 but will go with the 8 to feel like my curves were a bit more covered next time. Also, Spanx are a must.

Easy and great for work. Comfortable of course. I fluctuate between 4 and 6 and went with a 6 on this one which was a good idea. The sleeves fit better and it's not as tight in the mid section.

It fit well, but was a little low cut. I cinched it tighter to feel more comfortable. Can't go wrong with a wrap dress!

I would say that the dress runs true to size or if anything a little small. I am a 5 foot 10 skinny athletic build but I still have curves such as boobs and a butt therefore I did notice that the dress probably would have fit a little bit better if I didn't have these curves however the material does stretch to fit and I found it comfortable however I felt like I could have used a little more fabric especially when sitting in the dress I felt because of the way it wraps that if you aren't careful it would open up and show everything below where it is tied. Also the arms were short but I am used to that being an issue. Overall great dress sliming and flattering however I would not rent it again, nor was I in love with it.

There is no doubt that DVF is quality but unfortunately she designs for models and not everyday women. Her wrap dress is not meant for Hourglass, Curvy or Athletic girls. I work out - the arms were tight. I have a booty, hips and thighs and the dress didn't lay the way I would want. It was nice but not something I would ever purchase.

Ordered this for my husbands work xmas party. I took a risk by ordering only one size since the next size up was unavailable. Definitely would have felt more comfortable one size up. It was quite snug in the arms and since I have curves I felt like I was adjusting it constantly while sitting down. Quite small in the chest so ladies with a larger bust should plan on wearing a cami/tank.

The style of the dress is really nice. It can be dressed up with heels or more casual with bright tights and flats. Wrap dresses are universally pretty flattering, but I just couldn't get this one to lay quite right. No matter how I tied it, the dress would bunch up around the waist or would make the neckline plunge too deep. Fabric was more sheer that expected. Lesson: Wear a slip

These DVF wrap dresses don't have enough material to wrap around wider hips.

The dress provided a little too much cleavage exposure so I wore another straight sheath dress underneath to provide some coverage. The fabric is also pretty thin and sheer. I didn't think it was anything very special, but it was fine to wear to work.

I LOVE wrap dresses. Unfortunately the cut made this a little too low to be tasteful for work, so I had to wear it with a cami, which took away from the look a bit. The wrap style is very flattering for small waists, just be careful the the skirt doesn't come "unwrapped" when sitting or with a gust of wind! This came with the tags on (brand new!) but the skirt part was terribly creased. The material is very sensitive to heat so I had to keep my iron pretty low... Meaning the creases didn't really come out.

I was rather disappointed with this dress and unfortunately didn't wear it to my event. The dress runs true to size, but shows off a great deal more cleavage than I was expecting. However, I will say, that the dress is very flattering. I would have worn the dress had it shown off less cleavage.

DVF is always a good choice. This was the perfect work dress, hit right above the knee and is so flattering. The fabric is light, and the dress would probably work well for any season or event.
