Wore my own bra (36D) and Spanx. If you are busty, go with a necklace rather than drop earrings (dress is low cut). Good length for tall girls (I'm 5'9). May be too long if you are petite and curvy. I wear a 12 or 14 and went with the 14 (which was loose).

This was a great dress! Very from fitting and slimming. I wore it for NYE and it was fabulous! The lace is a great touch on a simple LBD.

Awesome dress! It has a bit of stretch which was nice. I normally have to size up for my chest, but the dress was stretchy enough. The dress hugged all the right places and I got complements all night. The lace is a nice touch and makes it look elegant. This was a dress that was sent to me as a back up. I'm glad it worked but I was worried! The RTR staff were amazing and got it all sorted so that I was dressed for my event. I don't know if I will get the dress again seeing that my boobs were the main focus of the night... But it was a fun dress to wear! (I'm a 34G - I hope that helps!)

I have rented this dress twice. Once for a formal charity event and the other an office holiday party. Both times I dressed up this simple dress with some great jewelry and hair. It's conservative enough for a work event, sexy enough to turn heads and comfortable enough to party into the wee hours! A perfect dress!

Dress ran true to size. This dress was a 4 and I am usually a 2, so it was a little bit big, but not obscenely large. Would be great for the office or a casual wedding. Fabric had some stretch to it. Can be worn with standard bra and undergarments. Gave a pretty conservative feel on me but might look different on someone with a larger chest size. Dress appeared fitted throughout. Dress hit right above the knee on me.

This dress fits like a glove. It hugs all your curves in the best possible way. Busty gals...if you like showing off the girls, this is the dress for you! The material has a bit of stretch and is so comfortable. Honestly, I would buy this dress in a heartbeat!

I wore it to my work holiday party and absolutely loved it! The detailing was lovely, and made it something other than a plain black dress. The length was great (I'm not into the super short stuff), and the cut was perfect - it hugged my body but wasn't too tight to be uncomfortable. The soft inner lining was a dream. (Sorry; I didn't get a full-body shot.)

I needed a cocktail dress for a work awards banquet and thought I'd treat myself to something special. I was worried this one might be too long since I'm short but the length was perfect. The dress is very form fitting so I think if it was shorter, it would have looked a little less classy. I normally wear a 2 or a 0 in mall brands so I ordered a 2 and a 0 here. I probably should have gone with a 2 and a 4. The 2 was a little tight but it fit perfectly with spanx. It was very comfortable and I could wear a regular bra. There were a few little stray threads and snags that needed to be trimmed prior to wearing but otherwise it was in great condition. It was my first "rent the runway" experience and I'll certainly be doing it again.

This is comfortable and flattering in person, but unflattering in all of the photos. Would possibly rent again if I lose a little weight.

Everything fit really nicely except for the bust - small cheated so i kept tugging at it a bit, but overall was bearable bc the rest fit really well. Loved the sleeves and neckline

The only issue I had was the tag on my side itching me that I couldn't cut out. Dress was soft and comfy. It didn't ride up at all. Fit like a glove and looked great!

I ended up not wearing this because the cleavage was too much for the company Christmas party. Also, I'm usually a 4, and i had to use shapewear to fit in the 6. However, the zipper was terrible. It kept sticking.

I didn't end up wearing this dress, it was sent as a back up for a dress OOS and didn't go with the type of event I was attending. BUT I will keep this in mind for future events because it was super well made and i felt great in it, held the girls nicely and made my figure look great!

Unfortunately I rented this for a funeral. I didn't have a thick, warm dress for the funeral (and I knew it would be cold), so I opted to rent one. I am 5'4", so this dress was very appropriate in length. It went down to my knees. It covered my chest as well. It hugged by body and fit perfectly. I do not have very big shoulder/arms, so the sleeves were falling off a little bit.

Loved the fit! It's a little bit of a snug fit around the bust and wider at the waist and hips, but otherwise was so comfortable and sleek looking (a little stretchy in material, so perfect for sitting or dancing comfortably). I noticed a little wear (loose thread) on my dress, but the lace pattern was otherwise a nice touch. Would probably rent again for a date night or wedding!

The dress fit well, however it was very clear it was worn down because there were threads hanging off. That being said, there was a problem with my original order and RTR was very helpful when it came to finding a replacement dress. Unfortunately, there was very little to choose from since my event was in between Christmas and NYE so just about everything was picked over.

Great dress - got it as a back up since they didn't have my original dress. Nice and had some "give" with the stretchy fabric. Usually stretchy lace fabric looks cheap, but that is not the case here. I did not wear it as it was a bit tighter than I ended up wanting. But still a great dress!

Sadly had two funerals within a month of each other so rented again because the fit was perfect. Definitely wore a cardigan over it as the neckline can start dropping low throughout the day & anyone C cup & above will be on display (classy enough display for a wedding, not a funeral). Perfect just barely above the knee.

The dress was extremely comfortable and looked elegant without being too over-the-top. I wore it to an evening wedding, mostly indoors. I wore a regular bra without an issue. The dress was thick enough and patterned in such a way that I was able to wear control-top pantyhose without any lines showing. Awesome!

Dress fit very well. I was comfortable and didn't feel restricted. Unfortunately I needed his dress for a funeral. It was Catholic mass and I was able to kneel, stand and sit comfortably.

This is the most comfortable I've ever been in a stylish dress like this! It has a soft cotton lining that makes it stay in place and feels like butter. The lace is a gorgeous addition to a traditional LBD, and the neckline gives it a very formal edge. I wore it for work but could easily wear it with my hair in an updo for a semi formal event. True to size and fits beautifully.

Comfortable and easy access for nursing my baby! Fit was good and as expected. My zipper was a little sticky, but didn't serve as a huge problem.

The fit of this dress made it the perfect choice for the wedding I attended. Although simple, the quality and fit of the dress made it stand out. I felt comfortable and confident in this dress. I would recommend it as a safe choice for any occasion!

I am a wedding planner and rented this for an event that I was both planner and guest. I wore this during the day and a different dress for evening. The size 6 fit me perfectly, but I would say it does run small. I am typically a size 6, but I am small chested and have a small waist (chest and waist is more a size 4, my hips are a 6). If you are larger then a B or carry your weight in your waist then I recommend sizing up, it fits like a glove. Overall, chic, comfortable and easy to wear.

This dress fit perfectly. I love it! Accentuates all the right parts. Paired with simple black heels and small jewelry for a classic, beautiful look. I usually wear size 4 in DVF and I'd say this one fits a little tighter. It does have some stretch to it, so I guess it depends how tight you want it / what look you are going for. Mine was for a work event and I felt it was appropriate and not too tight.

The dress fit perfectly. It has a nice amount of stretch, the lace is beautiful (doesn't appear cheap in any way, and there's a nice balance between the length and the lower-cut top. Add some great accessories and you're all set.

I had to get some professional work pictures taken and this dress was perfect. It's beautifully form fitting. I was able to wear a regular black bra with black spanx and no one could tell. Great for work or as a cocktail dress. I rented the 10 as a backup but the 8 (which is my usual size) fit perfectly.
