This dress is just lovely! The material is light and airy and flows beautifully when walking. I wore this on multiple occasions, one being a crawfish boil in the May Texas heat...and it definitely was cool to wear. It was a bit long on me since I'm a bit under 5' 4"...but I wore tall wedges to help with the length. The dress has pockets which are always handy. Because the material is light and airy, you will need to wear some sort of a slip underneath. The dress is not lined. I want to own this dress!! Love love love!

I wore the dress to my husband's company vacation dinner in Hawaii. The dress code was aloha formal and the dress was perfect. I am 5'2" so the dress was a tad long, but still comfortable and flowy.

I loved this dress..! It's rather blousy, but I kind of like that look. I belted it around the waist and it was perfect. The fabric is pretty thin, but not in a bad way. It's a really breezy silk feeling. I also loved the pockets. I got compliments all night and was so glad I rented this dress!

Perfect for a hot wedding in Florida, this dress fit comfortably. I wore a size 2, even though probably could have sized down for length and overall fit. Photographs beautifully and would be happy to wear again.

The dress flowed beautifully and I received complements all night. The print is even more beautiful in person. I had some issues with the fit. I'm normally a 0 or a 2 and rented a 0R and 2L (2R was unavailable). Both were very tight around the chest and I'm a modest 32A and all the other ladies that reviewed this dress said go a size smaller! A 4R probably would have been perfect.

The pattern and colors are beautiful! Very flowy and comfortable. I didn't think the neckline was very flattering, but otherwise great dress.

Great resort vacation option - not too dressy to wear to dinner with sandals. Very large billowy fit - truly like being wrapped in a luxe silk sheet. Slightly sheer but not noticeable. Wore short heels (2 inches) and a few bracelets to finish the look. Only fitted area is the band across the top and this fits snug! Normally wear an 8

Being tall I worried about the length but it hit right at the ground with flat sandals. The color was vibrant and the pattern was stunning. I wore the 4L but it was a little snug around my chest, I may have been more comfortable in the 6L. I paired the dress with one of RTR's Alice D clutches.

This dress felt incredible. The fabric feels amazing on your skin and it flows in all the right spots. The colors are vibrant and the pattern is gorgeous! I wore it to a friends 30th bday bash. I got endless compliments! My reason for 4 stars is the length! It's is VERY long. I am 5'4" and wearing 3 inch wedge platform sandal , it still brushed the ground. I held it up to walk through crowds and it wasn't a problem! Must rent!

I wore this dress to an awards ceremony in May and received a lot of compliments on how Spring/Summer it looked. It was a little long for my height. I'm 5'4" and wore 4 inch heels and the dress was still dragging a little. Other than that, It's really comfortable, elegant, and soft to the touch. Compliments to the RTR stylists for their excellent customer service and helping me choose the perfect dress in such short notice.

I wanted to wear this dress so bad because the color looked great with my olive skin tone. The 4 was too long and big. I was stepping on it with heels. I really liked that it had pockets. The dress is wide and is not meant to hug the body. It's perfect for a causal event. I may try a smaller size (2) in the future.

At 5'10 I ordered the 4L and it was a tiny bit short in the front, but it has a slight high/low cut and was longer in the back so overall the length worked. I'm not usually a fan of going braless but with the pleats in the front of the dress it kept things covered up and I felt comfortable. Several compliments!! A vacation must.

You will not find a more comfortable or fun dress for vacation. Hands down the prettiest dress at the resort :)

RTR sent this dress in place of another I had selected and it was a blessing in design. I wore it for a birthday dinner in September. It was comfortable and colorful against the beautiful california hills. I received many compliments.

A 10 would have been the most flattering on me as the 8 was tight around my chest and made things a little bulgy around my armpits (which I HATE) but the 10 wasn't available and I WANTED this dress so I dealt with it. I wore it with the straps tucked in, but the dress looked great either way. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, it is a little see-through. Not in the way that you can see the details of your undergarments but you can see the outline of your body if you are standing in the light. The material is gorgeous and silky. PLUS there are pockets so I could easily carry my phone around all day to check the nonstop instagram notifications this dress was generating from my friends. I got so many compliments!

This one of two backup dresses sent to me in place of a damaged original order. I had a truly difficult time choosing, because I fell so in love with this maxi. The matte silk is substantial and exquisite. The colors are nothing short of fabulous. It's exceedingly comfortable without being dumpy or blah. If the wedding I was attending was on a beach? Jackpot! I was sent the 8R, and believe the 6R would've fit me a little better. The top of the bodice did sag just a little, but mostly just looked relaxed, and not ill-fitting. If I'd worn it, I would've belted it as shown. But if you want to wear something with remarkable style that doesn't squeeze your mid-section, this is for you. The length of the 8R would've worked fine with any not-totally-flat shoe; I think if I'd wanted to pair a heel over 2.5" with it, it may have started skirting too-short territory. I can't emphasize how much I loved, loved LOVE this dress. RTR, put it on sale! I've got dibs. ;)

Amazing silk, great pockets, lovely print that was perfect for the Caribbean. This dress has lots of fabric and while it has a lighter background, it isn't at all see through. I should have ordered my actual size of 6 as it was too loose around the fitted top. I have a full bust and the strapless bra caught the looser part of the dress. I'm certainly the only person who noticed and I love the look in all the party photos. If I had a tube bra that didn't have a distinct edge, I would have loved this.

Its very comfortable. The top has pleats so if you are a D or plus is will be snug.

i just love this dress. first of all i got the "6L" which i'm 90% sure is the same as the actual 6 b/c DVF does not do tall sizing. at 5'10" the dress was to the ground with flats, which is a fun experience I rarely get. i'm definitely going to buy this dress... i was sick all weekend and it was a great one to just throw on and relax in (like wearing a loose baggy sheet) without having to try, and the fabric is a gorgeous silk. I wore it to both an outdoor rehearsal dinner and country club wedding (different weddings!) when you look closely the dress is slightly sheer on, but in photos that did not appear the case. i would wear nude underthings. also unlike the other reviewers i almost wish i had sized up to an 8.. the banding around the top of the chest was quite tight resulting in a bit of upper pec/weird underarm flab (don't know how to describe that area of the body). anyways the fit around the body is going to be very loose no matter what size you do, so it's no use sizing down (in my eyes). highly recommend if you want to be summery, comfortable, but still dressy :)

I wore the dress to a beach destination wedding, and the light fabric was great for the Aruba heat... although it was difficult to move around and dance in. I tried on the 0 and the 2 and both "fit", but the two had a little bit more room on top around the bust.... a little too much room. The fabric gathered a little too much right near the top of the dress. I'm not sure if if would have worked if I was bigger or smaller. The 0 was tighter on top and cut off my bust and made the skin around my armpit spill over... not flattering. I ended up wearing the 2. All in all... I got a lot of compliments and it was very comfortable.

This dress was great, very comfortable and the colors were vibrant. I am not sure how a shorter woman would carry this dress because there is a lot of fabric, but for a tall gal like myself, it was great!

The dress is extremely beautiful, but the tight band right above the boobs is extremely awkward if you have a larger chest. It sits in a weird place, and is just cut weird, to be honest. It fit other than that, though and it was a good length, considering I'm 5'10

This is a beautiful dress but i did not wear it. It makes it look like you are much larger then you are. It is not flattering at all. The material is also a little weird too.

The dress feels and looks beautiful until you put it on. The material didn't sit right and hung like a huge tent. Didn't end up wearing it.

Besides the print I can think of no positives for this dress. Ran small, but I can't imagine it being flattering on anyone but a model type with a very modest bust.

The top band of the dress runs very small comparing to the rest of the dress, which is very long, so do not rent if unless you are very small on top and tall. Otherwise a gorgeous dress.

I'm not sure what happened with this one. It seemed like it was too much material. Like I was wearing a sheet. Tried the 0, 2. Both 'fit' but were very unflattering. I even tried cinching with a belt but that didn't help. Did not wear either.

This dress wasn't for me. The material is extremely thin and it didn't hang well. It had static cling to my whole body. There is no lining at all. Not formal enough for black tie event.

It's super float and light with just a tight band at the top. The straps were a little bit too long for me.

I wore this dress to our company Hawaiian Vacation and it was only 5 weeks after giving birth. It was so flow, I felt great in it! Loved the pockets as well. I easily kept my room key in there so I didn't have to carry anything.

This dress is beautiful. It's loose and comfortable, and the fabric drapes nicely. I rented my normal size and had plenty of room for my large baby bump. I felt beautiful, and I received compliments all day. In the end, I couldn't part with it and had to buy.

Really loved this dress. This dress is super flowy but doesn't make it appear like you are wearing a bag. It is tight above the chest and then flows out with an attractive cut/lining to still show off your figure. Super comfortable as well as pockets! Big earrings make it pop and could be dressed up or down. Thanks RTR!

Long fit me perfectly with heels, 5'9 with 4 inch heels. Band at the bust doesn't have stretch, but didn't cut it on me. I'm a normal size 0-2/small on top.

really liked this dress and fits exactly as i imaged. i ordered a size down because i knew it would be very flow-y and this was the right call
