The dress is true to size. I received numerous compliments throughout the evening. I'm so glad that RTR could ship my dress directly to the house I was staying at. I was worried it would get wrinkled if I had to pack it in my suitcase. Also, finding a pastel dress this time of year is hard, but it was a requirement via the Bride. So thank you RTR for saving the day YET again! :)

I usually wear a 6 but ordered an 8 and a 10 because I'm pregnant. The 8 for well but i went with the 10 for a little extra room. I had people asking all night where I got my dress, way too cute to be maternity!

I was worried this would be snug around my hips/thighs, but it fit perfectly! It is very forgiving and super comfortable - I didn't even need spanx! Lots of compliments!

The 4 was a tad small I usually wear a 6 but wanted to wear this dress so badly! It was perfect for spring graduation. Very classy dress.

I loved this dress - it's very elegant and "grown up." The high quality of this dress really shows. The color is accurate as pictured. I got this as my back-up and ended up wearing it. I usually wear a 4 and the 2 fit absolutely perfectly. The pockets were a cute touch, and it's long enough that you can wear spanx if needed, but the shape and style is pretty forgiving :-)

This dress is ideal for a rehearsal dinner, cocktail party, date etc. It is fun, bright, and sophisticated. The cape back is so cool and the belt is a good cinch to make it sexy. I am usually an 8 but tried this on and fit into a 6 and even a 4. The shape is easy and the belt has stretch so fits any waist. I like short dresses so went with the 6--the 8 was longer and would have worked better for a family event. When I first saw it in the showroom it looked boring, but it is such a great dress when you put it on and belt it. If you want something bright and fun I would definitely try it!

The color is really amazing! It went really well with my hair and skin color so I was happy with it. The dress also has a nice touch and a nice feel. I was just a bit surprised to see how big it was. I'm usually either a size 4 or 6, so I had ordered these 2 sizes, but I think I would have needed a size 2! I ended up wearing a size 2, but I had the feeling it was running a bit too large, pretty much everywhere ... bust, waist, etc. I would recommend sizing down. Apart from that, amazing dress!

Fit is loose, the belt hits at a flattering place. I paired it with a chunky turquoise necklace I owned from Anthropologie. Dress was comfortable and I felt classic.

Fit very nicely. Dress had a slight odor to it when it arrived but RTR offered to reimburse me for dry cleaning, which I really appreciated. Got tons of compliments, would absolutely wear again!

I got mega compliments on it all night long! The fit is true to size and it was long enough, I'm 5'8. The only negative is that they didn't send the belt with it so I used my own belt last minute.

I couldn't find the belt in the picture in the box, so I think they forgot to mail that part, but I had a small black belt that went very well with it. Normally I wear a 0, but I like dresses that hug on my curves. This dress definitely needs to be worn loose, especially since the fabric is slightly see through. I had to play with it for a while to hide the shadow of the pockets (I love pocket dresses!) I felt very chic, and it could definitely be worn for a professional occasion. Thanks RTR!

I normally am between a 6 and 8, and the 8 was way too big. The 6 fit, and I even could possibly have worn a 4, if it was not too short. This was a beautiful dress for a daytime wedding, and I received many compliments. I was not crazy about the pockets; I thought they detracted from the line of the dress. But overall, I liked it a lot and was glad I rented it. Once again, RTR makes renting so easy.

I rented this for a garden party fundraiser on Capitol Hill and was disappointed when it arrived at my office without the belt shown on the model in the picture. Even the back-up size was missing the belt! I borrowed a belt from a friend and luckily had black pumps so it all worked out. I know a few reviews said this ran large, but I really thought it ran true to size. (I fit into the 4 but it was too short for the occasion.) It was extra comfortable and I got lots of compliments. (By the way, I'm holding the baby of my friend who lent me accessories.) I love RTR - they're really my go-to place for special events fashion. Thank you!!!!

The fit is sleek and very fitted and the belt arrives around the back so had to go back to photo to figure out where that went. But its a fabulous style and I got may compliments.

This color is unbelievable! Great pastel pink for spring. At first the shape seems off, but the belt really make it flattering. And if you are at all self-conscious about your backside, don't worry! The cape-detail in the back covers everything and adds a very cool detail to the dress! Super easy fit, would recommend for pretty much everyone!

This dress was comfortable and simple - a classic which still stood out from the crowd. It fit a bit large in the waist, and the draping in the back added more volume, so I added my own black belt to cinch my waist and paired it with black pumps to complete the look. I'd recommend a size down, but otherwise the fit is flattering and the pink color is excellent for spring.

I rented this dress for a speaking engagement and it was perfect! For the ladies who are looking for a dress that does double duty as professional during the day and stunning at night, this is the dress. I received so many compliments from people at the event, I lost count. This is a dress I wish I could have hanging in my closet permanently. I was comfortable all day and looked great. This dress will hide figure flaws. I could have sized down, but the dress drapes so well I went for comfort and not too tight for the event.

I wore this for a pre-wedding cruise around Manhattan & the compliments kept coming. And they did not stop. Even the next day at the wedding, people were coming to compliment me on "the dress I wore the night before!" This dress is the perfect combination of classy & comfortable - a rare find! The color was beautiful. I'd definitely rent it again. I'd consider buying it if given the opportunity! I wore the 8 & it fit slightly snugly. I probably should have gotten the 10.

I wore this dress 3 weeks after having my baby, I only had to wear one size bigger than my pre-pregnancy size. It was comfortable and elegant and the color was very pretty.

The color of this dress is beautiful. The dress is very classy and the material is like a thick cotton, not silk like it looks in the picture. I ended up wearing the belt but did not loop it through the holes. I am glad I only rented this dress because it worked perfectly for the event, but it is not something I would really want to buy and own.

The color is just beautiful. The back detail was so different and special. Rented this for an outdoor wedding. Temp 96 degrees. The dress is comfortable, did not tug on it or readjust while I was wearing it, not wrinkled when I took it off. Only complaints are the dress I did wear arrived wrinkled. Since I was at my own home I had my steamer I could use. May have been a problem if I had it sent a hotel and had a wrinkled dress arrive. Second was the belt, only one sent and it seemed too small. I tried only both dresses and with the belt they both bunched up around the waist, not flattering for me. I tried one of my own and just didn't look right. Took the belt off and there was enough definition in the waist and it hung so nicely I went without a belt. Love reading the reviews from other customers. I get an idea of how the dress will or will not work for me. Will use RTR in the future.

Didn't end up wearing it b/c the belt was too tight. Sometimes I wonder if RTR get's belts mixed up and attaches a smaller belt with a larger size dress. Dress is beautiful and I highly recommend it but make sure you order a back up in a larger size to insure 2 belt options.

It's more conservative than I thought, it hits at knee length.

I wore this dress to a wedding at a country club, it couldn't have been more perfect! The fit is very flattering, though the belt that comes with it is a little wonky--doesn't necessarily nip you in all the way if your waist is much smaller than your hips/bust, like mine it. I ended up swapping out the fabric belt included for my own black patent belt. There's a little keyhole-type thing that allows you to slide the belt through the dress, behind the cape, so it's very easy to sub in your own belt without affecting the drape of the cape. The color on the website is true to the color in person, and the cape is an extraordinarily chic detail. The dress is lined, but the lining doesn't hide much--I had to wear a totally smooth bra, though it was a normal bra otherwise. I wore Spanx because I have a slight belly pooch, and the dress is the perfect length for them, but they are not necessary by any means--the fit is very forgiving. I paired with black and nude pumps, a gold watch, and gold hoop earrings--you probably could wear this dress with a statement necklace, but I liked the drape of the cowl neckline, so I did not.

Another reviewer had recommended sizing up, but the six fit loosely, and I probably could have had a more fitted look in the 4 (my back-up size was an 8, which I didn't even try on since the six was loose). Since I was headed to a Derby Day party serving fried chicken, I was happy with the looser fit! The back drapes beautifully, but the front pockets are a bit odd. You have to physically lay them down inside to get it to look right. The belt was missing from the size 8, but that was fine since there was one on the 6. I did think the belt was loose though, so I had to pin it to cinch it and get it to lay flat. Gorgeous color, fun style, and I received lots of compliments.

The dress is a great color! Perfect for the spring party I wore it to. Only downside for me is that you can't move the belt placement and I thought it over emphasized my hips.

The color is beautiful and the fabric is amazing and stretchy plus i really wanted to wear this dress, but unfortunatly i had to return it because it was soooo big. I might even try and rent it again in the future for another event because im usually a size 6 and the size 4 didnt even fit so this is definetly a contender because the dress itself is so beautiful

I wore this dress to a party in South Beach, and it was perfect! The color is so bright and beautiful, and the fit was flattering without being too clingy. It was also brand new with the tag still attached, an added bonus!

I would re-order, however I would purchase the static cling in case. The dress color is almost a combination of pink and tangerine. It's a beautiful dress, I would order again. Cons- It was static clinging to my legs

I wore this to a Kentucky Derby event, with more than 500 attendees, and received numerous compliments, particularly on the color. It would have been even more lovely IF THE BELT HAD SHIPED WITH THE DRESS, RTR. I wore it without the belt, which worked but only becasue of my height, 4" heels and 8" hat. A shorter profile wouldn't have been able to pull off the beltless look, plus the hat distracted from the obvious open belt loops. Frustrating, but would rent it again if the belt were included.

Girls, this dress does NOTHING for your figure. It has a nice fabric and the color is beautiful. The belt only goes around the front of the dress leaving this billowy cape thing at the back. It very much reminded me of my 9 months I spent in maternity wear trying to hide behind flowy clothes. This one went back immediately. From the front, it could be a really cute daytime dress, but then that unshapely cape thing in the back- who wants to ADD size to our back side?
