I actually own two dresses of a similar style and love them! Put on my Rothy's and a strand of pearls. Attended a "business casual" fundraising event. Very comfortable and easy to wear with totally regular undergarments!

This dress is stunning. Simplistically femine with a retro vide. I wore it for church, as one of my Dressember dresses and a vendor event.

This dress had so much fabric and class! Felt a little like a Mad Men-era woman's work dress, but the ruching at the chest gave it a modern twist. Really lovely fabric and movement, and received many compliments!

This dress flatters the curves you have or creates ones you don't! The cotton fabric is stiff enough to create a lovely flared silhouette without feeling stuffy. The true waist made my middle look tiny and my legs look long--literally, how?

This is the perfect style of dress for me. I am truly hourglass so the tightness in the waist worked well for me. I read reviews and saw pictures about pulling at the breasts -- that is usually a problem for me, too. But with this dress, it was very minimal. I walked around feeling beautiful all day and got so many compliments. I didn't even feel the need to wear any shape wear underneath. I was worried about the length because I am short, but I liked it. And GREAT POCKETS

I'm. 4 months preggo and the size small fit perfect. The dress flares out over the tummy bump and is very comfortable. Very classy dress and I would definitely rent this again.

This fits true to size, it was too large in my torso, but I'm usually a 4petite on top. The dress was beautiful and had great movement, but wrinkled far more easily than I expected. Likely needs to be starched.

It's a very classic dress. You could have easily worn this on a vacation to Niagara in the 50s. The silhouette is very flattering, but I found the top half to be a bit tight in the bust and arms.

This was a crisp, well-made dress for work, but it ran large all over. At 5'4, the cinch at the waist fell closer to my hips. I am a true size small and it was large all over. I would size down.

Wore it twice and would rent again. No shapewear needed. Few gaps in the buttons at the bust but it was easy to secure the fabric closed.

This is a very pretty dress. I just don't think it was particularly flattering on me. I didn't like the darts at the bust and the skirt was too full. The sleeve length and fabrication are gorgeous, though.

This dress fit overall well, slightly large but I am in between sizes. I liked it, was very comfortable all day, but didn't feel particularly special in it. Would not rent again.

Beautiful, flowing dress. I was a tad b/w sizes. XL was like a tent & the large was a little snug around the busy & midsection. Some of the buttons I had to sew better as the stitching was coming undone, but overall many compliments & very much accentuated my figure.

I’m a size 16 now 230lbs, 5’7, 40DD : I rented the size XLR. It was a beautiful fit and very classic, elegant look for a afternoon function. I received so many compliments and I felt very pretty.

I LOVED this dress and, if it weren't for the fact that it really is a bit dressy for wearing around my house, I would have kept even longer. It's incredibly flattering, has a "kicky" full skirt with a bit of a retro flair (without veering into vintage) and a color you can pop if you want (I did!). The fabric is cotton (or some sort of cotton blend) so, while it's not an "evening look", it's really versatile.

This is my go to black dress for work, funerals, and even a classy dinner. It has a nice tea length with pockets that makes this dress one of the best day to night dresses around. It is buttoned in the middle so chose a size that isn't to small if you are curvy in the middle. I sized it so my small muffin too was hidden and I look and felt like a boss.

I loved it the moment I pulled it out of the bag. I work in an office and it was perfect for an office wear. I loved the flow of the dress, it was light and airy, didn't wrinkle much and was just a clean piece. Elegant and casual.

This was a nice airy dress for summer. It was below the knee on me and I'm very tall, which was nice for work. It would be good for a more formal or casual workplace, as the material is nice. Would also be a great picnic or summer evening dress!

Perfect for anyone with that hourglass shape - the waist band is very flattering.

Others have commented that this dress is a bit dowdy or matronly but I did not get that vibe. I found the dress crisp and cool. Pay attention to the length and fit when choosing a size because it seems to look better if it is more fitted. I will probably rent this one again because it is versatile and has pockets!
