I normally love DVF wrap dresses, but this one was a miss for me. The fabric is pretty stretchy, which means it "shrinks" away from the opening towards the bottom, and would be wide open with any real movement. It was ok to wear around the house, but I would not have felt comfortable wearing this in public without pants or leggings underneath. Perhaps if I sized way up it might work? Otherwise, the pattern of the fabric was interesting and lovely. I hope someone else can make this work!

I wore this twice, as a dress for work and as more of a cardigan on the weekend. I loved both looks! The only downside as with most wrap dresses is that you really need a camisole underneath or it is too low in the front.

Loved this dress. Worn to work and got lots of compliments! Absolutely beautiful. But agree with other reviews...the tight knit material made the dress want to come "unwrapped" several times

True to the DVF wrap dress rep this was an easy dress to wear and look fabulous on all your curves. The material is knit and needed to stretch out a bit. I had to pin the bottom closed the first time I wore it. But the chest fit fine over my larger bust. By the second time it closed without the pin or revealing too much. The knit is heavy so it was a great winter dress. I wore it with tights and knee high boots for holiday pix and the touch of sparkle in the grey showed up great.

Fit was true to size. A bit low cut if you're modest. Thankfully I'm not!

This is my first DVF and I love it. I rented it for holiday parties this season. When I first tried it on I thought it was way too clingy but I adjusted lol. Hubby eyes popped out of his head. Wrap dresses really do look amazing on curvy figures and DVF is the wrap dress queen. I had to use a safety pin to close the top a bit. Size 12 and large is perfect.

Wow I loved this dress. It just hugs the body in all the right places and I got so many compliments from coworkers saying how great it looked. It made my guy say "wow" and a few people commented that it would make a great holiday party dress. May need to rent again!

This dress was very comfortable. As you can see from photo I added a cami and tights to make it work appropriate.

It have metal thread in medium grey line- camera don't catch it- so its more dressy then u think, texture- is amazing( not a plain knit ), sleeve longer then standard- but folding - don't affect the look & will be good for those who need extra length. The only problem: go size UP, fabric is spring-back- so wraps get open all the way to waist easily- i had black like leggings tights & thanks to it didn't flash underwear, may be wearing it like a cardigan with leggings more open would be stylish, anyway go size bigger- so enough fabric to do the wrap , other wise its gorgeous ( just to make it easer 36 B-29"-39")

I probably could have worn the medium but since it was a funeral, I felt it best not to wear something too body hugging. The large was a little loose in the chest area but I used fashion tape . The dress was super warm, classy yet not flashy. Great choice.

I would say this is more of a duster than a dress- it's super low so had to wear bandeau underneath and pin shut Also wide slit in front and gates open so I wore with leggings Shiny metallic color comfy stretch fits true to size Arms are long which I appreciated bc I have long arms Cute sweater duster cardigan I'd call it ;) Not thick or itchy win!

Feels like a sweater dress, nice fabric. Super flattering. Stays tied no problem. Neck line a bit low but just wore with big necklace and was fine for work.

This is a lovely, classic wrap dress in a thicker more textured knit than the usual DVF sweater dress. I didn't realize from the description that the dark grey stripes are metallic/shimmery. It felt more festive than necessary for a regular work day, but I wore it anyway and found it was comfortable, flattering, and professional. Only imperfection is that the sleeves were a bit too long. But overall I really liked this and will likely rent again.

This dress ran large in my opinion. The sleeves were long and it kind of bunches up. I'm not really a small girl, and I'm busty. I feel like I could have gotten away with a small.

Really liked this dress. Not too low cut - don't wear a push-up and you'll be fine.

Another great wrap dress from DVF. The material holds together at the neck's V better than some. At times, I've had to wear a tank under these, but didn't with this one. It is a heavy, but not hot, material with the metallic thread. I did have to really watch how I stood or sat, as the material slides past each other very easily and sitting down, could have easily had it fall open to my waist if I didn't hold it! But was aware, so was careful and got a lot of compliments on this. Will be a great one for casual holiday parties too.

Nice dress in a fun metallic material. The fit in the skirt is a little on the narrow side, so it made my shoulders look a little broader than normal (which is already broad). The neck on DVF wrap dresses always runs pretty deep, and this dress was no different. I definitely needed a camisole. Because I got a small, the fit was a little in the snug side, but beware that the bottom wrap can also come open.

Like a few other renters, I opted to wear this dress as more of a cardigan layer than the originally intended dress shape. I think it would have been a little too risqué on me for work otherwise, but loved it as a sweater.

True to size but low cut, as DVF wraps tend to be (I wore with a black tank underneath for work). Also, the slit showed a ton of leg when sitting (I was glad to be wearing tights in a business setting). It has quite a bit of sparkle so on its own, great for date or party; I wore with a short grey jacket for work. Very heavy knit so it was forgiving, but you may like it better with shapewear.

Nice dress, high quality and flattering cut. I didn't love the fabric, it felt too shiny for work, yet I wouldn't wear to a formal event. So it feels a little awkward.....still enjoyed wearing, but probably wouldn't rent again.

Lovely sweater dress that can take you from work to holiday party. The fabric has a bit of sparkle in it to help dress it up a bit. The cut is flattering, although I always wish her dresses had a touch more fabric to them in order to wrap just a bit more. It's always tricky to sit down at your desk in these.

I needed a camisole to "mind the gap" as I am broad shouldered but not particularly busty. People liked it on me more than I like it but based on the number of compliments I received, I gave it 5 stars. Would definitely wear again.

Warm sweater material. Too warm for Oct in the Phila area. Also, it's sparkly so it feels better for holiday time. But, not warm enough for snowy weather. Bunches in the back. Super stretchy. Pinned the bottom part to keep the two pieces together and avoid embarrassing fashion slips at work..... totally possible with this wrap dress! True to size. Might rent again in Dec

This dress is a lot shinier/sparklier than the pictures convey. Also, the way the wrap fits, there is no way not to flash the entire restaurant, so wear leggings or thick tights. I try not to wear camis with wrap dresses but it was unavoidable in this situation.

I usually don't have an issue with DVF wrap dresses but this one was much smaller than I'm used to. The opening was right in front and would not stay closed. I opted to wear it as a "sweater" over pants and button down to be work appropriate.

I selected true to size, but that's because I don't think it was overall small or large, but the fit was a little odd, with the sleeves and top being looser and needing to tug the wrap skirt back in place a bit. The sleeves on this dress are oddly long, and I usually have the opposite problem. I tucked the cuffs under and it worked okay. I pinned the top for peace of mind.

The dress fit nice, the dress is made for standing because when you sat down the dress didn't cover your thighs and opened to the crotch.

Wrap around, like any DVF dresss. If you like that style then you'll like this...great fabric that is forgiving. But for me, just shows all my curves and too tight and wrap around means I can't sit down without giving a view.

dress was nice, heavy fabric. somewhat shiny material. the fit was good in the shoulders/length, but was extremely low cut as you can see in the photo. very unflattering!

This piece fits great. It was a bit heavier than anticipated but well made. I wore it over a sleeveless dress as a sweater and just tucked in the belt.

Wore it to a mother- son breakfast and received many compliments. Absolutely love this dress. Looked great with high black boots

Was not too low cut like most DVF dresses. I didn't take a picture but it was low key sexy. Wore to work and then to dinner. This could be a holiday dress if you wanted something more simple... has almost a silver tensile in the fabric. Really liked how the dress felt.

Wore this to drinks with friends and dinner with my boyfriend. The material is thick and soft, and the fit was so flattering. I liked that it fit my chest well too, didn't need a cami underneath (though I would have if I wore it to work). I felt really sexy wearing this - would definitely rent again!

As other reviews say, it’s a deep V. With the correct plunge bra, and in Miami, it was fine. I’m an athletic size 2, 32D, almost 5’5” and the S fit better, not pulling around my hips or thighs. I was mindful of the wrap slit getting in and out of the car.

The colors were great. i wore it as a sweater not a dress. it was a bit itchy material but warm as well.
