Drawstring allows you to make a waist, silk was flowy & fun. Skirt was floor length for me 5'6" so wore heels.

Rented this for a September wedding in Hawaii. Being 9 months pregnant, I wanted something easy & comfortable while still feeling pretty & festive. This hit the mark on both points! Thin material was breezy and comfortable. Perfect dress for the occasion and received compliments all night long. Was so sad to send this one back!

I'll be holding on to this one for a while. The fabric is beautiful, soft and silky and the colors are vibrant but not in your face. Slightly long on my 5'3" frame but ok with 3 inch wedges. Compliments from random strangers on this one. And pockets! These dresses can sometimes look too little house on the prairie, but this one is so luxe and sophisticated. Love love love.

The cut of this dress is meh but that's not why we're renting it obvs. The fabric is gorgeous and that pattern will have people oohing and ahhing

This dress was everything I wanted and more! I'm 28 weeks pregnant (I wore my normal size) and it was super flowy and comfortable! The cinch at the waist and v neck made it super flattering! It's one of the most beautiful prints and I loved that it wasn't lined. I got compliments all night!

I rented this for a Kentucky Derby fundraiser event. I'm 8 months pregnant and it was perfect! Loved the long sleeves, high neck, and overall comfort. Bonus: pockets!! Loved it so much wore it again the next day to a family event. Would definitely rent it again when I'm not pregnant

Fabric is Bomb - and there's so much of it that the dress just hangs and moves beautifully. The colors are vibrant and the sleeves are beautiful. It's elongating and flattering. I loved it so much!! Wore it to my best friends destination wedding in Provence France.

Runs large - I'm heavy but only 5' 4" so took a chance on the MR. worked beautifully!

Size small was perfect length for my 5' 4 1/2" height. Waist tie made it super comfy, as you can adjust to whatever size you want. Fabric was luxurious and the skirt was so full it made dancing that much more fun! I wore it with a pair of 1" black suede heels which looked great. I can't say enough good things about this dress. Thank you, DVF. Your dresses are so flattering and chic!

I wore this dress 31 weeks pregnant to a bridal shower. Absolutely loved the print and loose fit. The neckline was a bit low for my short torso so I ended up pinning and tying the ties in a bow at the neck. Got many compliments throughout the event. Highly recommend!

Stand out in a crowd! This dress made me feel like a goddess. Per the other reviews, I sized down to a Medium (usually L or XL in DVF) and it still had plenty of room. I found the length just a tiny bit long at 5'5" but it worked with one inch sandals. Endless compliments and so unique. Love this dress!

Great, light material and cinches with a built in "belt". Length was perfect and v neck wasn't too revealing.

At first I was a little afraid that this dress would make me look like a tent, but the tie at the waist really made the shape come together. The material was light enough that I didn't suffer in the heat and humidity and the print really stands out in a crowd. I felt like a million bucks in this dress and will definitely be renting again.

Lots of fabric in the skirt and waist doesn't tie too tight but this was gorgeous and made for some fun photo opps

I adore this flowy silk maxi dress. It was perfect for a concert at Newport, RI, mansion. I am usually size 10 with RTR dresses (5'8", 155 lbs, 36C), but wore this dress in size Small for a less voluminous fit and to make sure it wasn't too long as I wanted to wear it with flats. I added a black patent leather belt to give my waist more definition. My husband thought that this dress made me look very hippy, but I didn't care. I loved the pattern, the colors, and the wide flowing skirt. Casual elegance.

The softness of the fabric makes this dress a dream to wear. Bold, earthy colors, I felt ripe for springtime. Sleeves can be worn down, or pushed up onto the forearm. Can be tied at waist to define your curves. Love the way the dress moves when walking.

The perfect maxi dress! I am usually between a size S and M but the XS fit perfectly! The tie at the waist is great for giving this flowy dress a bit more structure/shape. At 5'3" I was nervous it was going to be too long but I was able to wear flat sandals with nothing dragging on the floor. To complete the look, I paired it with our Oscar de la Renta Red Beaded Disc Earrings which provided great contrast.

Dress definitely runs on the larger side. Compliments all night. Wore to Thanksgiving in Florida and couldn't have asked for a better dress. Flowy, bright, comfortable.

I am absolutely in love with this dress. I received so many compliments wearing it. I typically wear a large, but a medium fit great. The cinched tie makes this really figure-flattering. I wore it with both black strappy sandals like the model and also a pair of rafia wedges with black straps to work. If you're thinking about renting this, do it!

Love this dress! I was sad to it. It was a very nice fabric with a fun pattern. I cinched the waist tightly so that it looked more fitted. I like the elastic on the sleeves because I could push them above my elbows and they would stay there. The dress has a lot of coverage, so I preferred for it to look more like three-quarter sleeves and not long sleeves. I would definitely rent this again for work or a more conservative get-together.

The print and feel of the fabric is so great! This was a very generous size small. I probably could have worn the xs but with that said it did not look too big.

I LOVED this dress. The print and material were gorgeous, and the fit was beautiful. I received so many compliments! The only thing is that the dress came without the tie at the waist (not sure if it somehow got damaged by someone before me) but I ended up belting it anyway and it looked flawless. This dress was great for a tropical vacation. The fit was very easy- it runs large but has a tie waist so it's very adjustable. I was 27 weeks pregnant and the XS (my normal pre pregnancy size) worked. But would also look great not pregnant. Print was fun and vibrant and fabric is a heavier weight silk.

This dress is for tall people. I'm 5.7ft and couldn't wear flats with this dress. Needed at least a medium heel. Lovely silk fabric and great print. Compliments Would be great for vacation/resort wear. Flowy. Comfortable. A lot of fabric in skirt. High-waisted thin tie. Pockets. Wrist ties are a bit loose but sewn-in so not adjustable.

I wanted to love this dress, felt sort of flowy and pretty in it then saw a picture of myself and realized I looked like I was wearing a muu-muu. Super long on the small - I wore it to NYC and had to gather it up as I walked so it didn't drag on the ground and I was wearing three inch heels. Nice pattern thought.

Went with a Medium. probably could have done a small but it fit great. fabric is so incredibly silky soft. did not wrinkle. sleeves should cinch at wrists but the strings have been removed. did not matter to me. I wore it to a fancy dinner, an after wedding brunch at someones home and to a casual lunch- extremely versatile. Love love love.
