The dress looked beautiful, and I received a lot of complements on it. Had to buy some fashion tape to hold in up on my shoulders, and on the front, but it looked great! Suggest getting two sizes, runs a little large.

This dress is unlike what I usually wear and that is exactly why I decided to rent it. Time for something new! It runs large. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and the 0 fit great. I am small busted and short torsoed so I think that helped with it fitting. I was able to wear a bra. I wore a nude plunge bra and used a low back waist converter and it worked perfectly! I also employed the use of lots of double stick tape. The sequins are quality and stunning. I was surprised to see that not a one was missing from my dress. The ones near the hem were bent, but I expected that from a rental and it kind of gave the dress a cool 3D pattern at the bottom. I spent some time the night before turning them all into one direction and then gave up when I realized that they would flip with moving and sitting and I think that is part of the charm. I got a lot of compliments and felt like a million bucks. I was (as was my husband) so sad to return it this morning!

Pinned it in 2 places in the front and tied the back straps together with a black ribbon. This made it so comfortable.

The dress fit true to size in terms of length; the wrap-around style makes it easy to adjust. I would either go braless or wear pasties. For shoes, I wore a 3" heel--just high enough to keep the dress from dragging. I highly, highly recommend this gown to anyone who wants to shine!

I loved wearing this dress! I have gained a little weight recently and was expecting to wear the 6 but the 4 was good. Gorgeous fabric and great 70s feel. I had to use a lot of pins to hold it together though. Would probably be hard for someone with a larger chest.

The dress was so pretty and very comfortable. I did have to use a ribbon to tie the straps together in the back to make it fit a little better but other than that the dress was beautiful. I wore 4 and 1/2 inch heels so the dress was the perfect length. Some of the sequins were reversed up but all i had to do was brush it the other way and the coloring went back to the way it should be. Definitely would recommend this dress for a wedding.

This dress was definitely a great choice - it fit super well and wasn't too heavy (like I thought a sequined dress would be). Although it was a bit hot to wear something like this in June, I found it was easy to dance in and photographed really nicely. Just make sure to tape the front of it so that it doesn't gap!

I tried this dress on in the RTR showroom - it is a beautiful gown and very flattering both in color and style. I wish I had somewhere to wear it!

I LOVE this dress. It is so beautiful and is very flattering. It was a little hard to figure out how to tie it though. The dress I tried on was in the medium size range, so it was a little big for me.

This high quality dress was gorgeous! The dress fit a little loose and was a bit long in front. A 2R probably would have been a better fit. The dress also has a good weight so it helps to keep the dress in place. Also, if you do rent this dress, some of the sequin are flipped, but with several swipes of your hand along the fabric, the sequin goes right back into place. The plunging neckline, sides and back are sexy and classy. I received numerous compliments throughout the night :)

I wore this gown in 2R for a black-tie charity gala. The dress was exquisite and I received many compliments through the night. Strangers came up to me and asked to touch the dress because the sequins look so beautiful and fluid like. I am usually a size 0 and had ordered the 0 with 2 as the back-up size. However, on this particular order it appeared that somebody had made some amateur alterations to the 0 and I was unable to wear it. When I spoke to RTR about this problem they immediately offered me a 25% refund which I was satisfied with since I had been able to wear the 2 and it fit fine. As with any sequin dress, it did take some time to straighten out the sequins which arrived a bit of a mess but other than that, I loved the dress. My boyfriend was speechless and people were incredibly complimentary. Would rent again.

Gorgeous dress! I wish I could keep it! The matte gold is stunning in person. It definitely runs large... I would have preferred a smaller size, but a 4 was the only one available. The top was falling off when I first tried it on but I was able to use sticky tape and it was perfect- you couldn't even tell! Overall I love love loved this dress and would wear it again!

I ordered a 6 and got a 4 as my backup. I've never had the privilege of wearing a DVF gown so wasn't sure about the sizing. The 4 fit! (*excited*). It's a wrap dress which is easy to wear and virtually flattering on any figure in my opinion. I used fashion tape for the top to hold the 'ladies' in. I'm a 32DD so I was a bit self conscious but I decided to rock it and wear it with confidence. I'm about 5'7-8" and with 4 inch heels it barely grazed the floor at a perfect length. Also, customer service was awesome and the email reminders and the personal little touches in the packaging made a huge impact. I work in online retail as a marketer and attention to detail is much appreciated. RTR is the best ever!

The matted gold is perfect for making a statement, wihtout being too loud. I am 5'3", this dress was long with 3 inch heels. So, wear tall ones or be prepared to hold your dress so you don't step on the train that is created by your lack of height. This dress is not the best choice for a busty woman, but I wanted to wear it so bad. I am 32DDD = 34DD and there was a lot of cleavage and sideboob showing. I ended up taping all sides of my breats to keep the dress from shifting. Also, the cut is low in the front, and you cannot wear any kind of bra, unless you can find tape on cups that LIFT and do not have a closure in the middle. Unfortuately, all the tape on bras I found had closures in the middle. Thankfully, the tape is so strong, I left the closure undone. With the tape on bra cups, and the 6-8 garment tape strips, I made it work. I would have loved a safety pin in the center, but without one, I just used more garment tape. Throughout the night I thought about spilling out, and being too revealing, but everyone told me I looked great and my friends reassured me I had nothing to worry about. After a few drinks and some dancing, I was able to let go and have fun! Super recommended for smaller chest, thin frame women. Take caution women with larger breasts!

The dress is really gorgeous in person. Definitely runs large - this was the smallest size available and I had to tie the back straps together to make it work - but it worked! Loved every minute of this dress!

You do need fabric tape to ensure that you do not have a slip.

I could not at first understand how to tie the dress! I called customer service ans they were a great help.. I ended up pinning and taping myself in, making it a little hard to move around as freely as I would have liked. I loved the dress, but for a 0 it felt pretty big. The sides were really low, so I had to pin them up a little. The length was perfect with heels. Overall, the dress was SO GORGEOUS! The sequins were perfect and made it easy to accessorize with minimal jewelry. I have never felt better and I received a lot of compliments. Rent this dress! Just be aware that the fit is less than ideal and that getting it on takes a little tape and sticky boobs, but it is well well WELL worth it.

Absolutely stunning! While it runs slightly on the larger size, the dress is a wrap with tie closure that allows you to adjust the size and v-neck cut in the front. Pull it tighter for a more snug coverage or loosen it up for a larger fit or deeper v-neck. The choice is yours. The gold silk with matte metallic sequins made everyone stop and stare. I felt like a celebrity on the red carpet :)

Glamorous gown with a forgiving, flattering shape for people bigger on bottom. I added a thick black ribbon belt to add extra shape around the waist and loved the look.

Loved the dress although it didn't photograph very well! Most sequins were still in tact but there were a few that were missing. Great dress overall!

Run bigger. It's a great matte gold color sequins. A little bigger under arms and low cut on a chest area. Dress over all is very heavy and hard to dance in .

As a 32A-- the top of this dress made no sense.

This dress would have been perfect for the Black and Gold Gala I rented it for, but unfortunately the hole where the ribbon was supposed to go through was sewn shut. I tried so many ways to make it work and nothing looked quite right. I was so disappointed I couldn't wear this beautiful dress!

The sequence kept running up and moving in directions--very noticeable. Also---it was really heavy and long. I had to pin the edges up. The color isn't exactly the same in the photo--it's more of a dull gold.

In theory and on the model, this dress is great. However, when I received it, the sequins were a mess-- I think this one needs to be retired from RTR. Also, it was not that flattering at the dress just hung on me and didn't do much for my body.

I rented this dress as a backup to the dress I actually wore. It was designed in such a way that it was hard to figure out how to wear it and when I did figure it out, it was hard to not have a wardrobe malfunction. It looked beautiful on the website, but I did not feel comfortable wearing it out to a function.

it's a pretty dress but you have to be stick skinny. I felt like you could see every bump and ripple of my skin. didn't end up wearing it.

Best if you don't need a bra.
