Perfect for New Year's Eve!
This dress fit perfectly. I am tall and have long arms, and the sleeves were the perfect length. I was afraid the skirt would be too short, but it wasn't. It rode up a little when I sat down, so I wore spandex shorts underneath for my own peace of mind. I started out the night wearing the belt, but later decided to take it off.

STYLIST REVIEW!
Loved this dress! I usually size down to a 0 in DVF but this one fit true to size and the lining didn't have too much stretch! Great for summer or a transition dress from spring to summer or summer to fall. Great with nude pumps! If I was going to rent again I would add some colorful jewelery. Great liked this, easy fit, and very comfortable!

Adorable!
I felt a little iffy about this dress until I actually put it on! Amazing dress! Super comfy. Can be casual or dressed up with the right accessories. I love the sleeves! I prefer it without a belt. It's a cuter shape. And honestly, I cannot stress how comfortable this dress is!!!

I'm loving crochet dresses right now and I've had a hard time finding one in black. I loved the color accent you can add with this DVF dress to make it your own.
The crochet in this black long-sleeve DVF Dress is gorgeous! I loved the feel, it was super comfortable, and you can either rock it with a fun pair of heels or dress it down with a pair of boots. There is a detachable ribbon and I chose to not wear it.The sleeves were a little bit too long for me but other than that this dress was a perfect fit!

I received so many compliments in the long sleeve flare shift dress! I was a bit hesitant to wear it during the summer, but this really is a year round dress. I loved the silky tie belt for the waist and the flared sleeve cuffs! I turned so many heads in this. Personally, I think it looks more flattering the taller you are, but if paired with heels it is sure to be a hit! I am 5"3 and it hit me at mid thigh.

Very elegant. Better for the straight and narrow.
I rented this for a getaway with my husband to Atlantic City, NJ. It was perfect for a dinner for two or even for a more formal affair. While I am petite, I have a very curvaceous bottom. This was my first time renting this designer. This dress was extremely tight around my hips. The size 2 did not even go up around my hips. The size 4 was great on my bust (very small). The neckline was very flattering. It was mid-thigh on me.However, the lining has no stretch and so it was very tight but wearable. The eyelet fabric was loose, so it was ok to wear. The sash was shipped in a separate package for both sizes, so I missed it was even in the box. However, I probably wouldn't have worn it anyways. I liked the loose sheath look with a well fitted lining. While extremely tight, I would consider renting it again. I wore it with silver accessories and rhinestone studded sandals.

As cute as the dress is, it does not look good on curvy girls. It made my figure look boxy.
This dress ran small. It was unflattering for a curvy girl. It emphasized all the wrong parts. But because it is black, the unflattering parts weren't too noticeable. It does look great with a bold color for shoes or jewelry.

Very comfortable yet flattering.
The dress fit true to size. It is more fitted through the hips. I didn't use the belt because it looked great without it.

I got so many compliments when I wore this dress and loved wearing it!
The dress ran very true to size for me. I'm a 2 in most dresses from regular retail (J.Crew, Theory, etc...) but in designer sizes I'm a 4 and this fit true to that. The material was cotton which made the dress a little more casual than I expected but I loved it! I would definitely rent this dress again. I actually looked online to see if I could buy it anywhere, and I can't find it anywhere! Definitely a great find.

Sometimes the compliments you overhear behind your back are worth more than those made to your face!
Beautiful dress, true to size but a little short. Comfortable and flattering. Loved it!

Simple black dress
I liked this dress. The belt shown didn't arrive but it was fine- kind of fit like a shift dress. I was glad I had an 8 but the 6 might have worked. Sleeves are a neat crochet type lace. Very different and fun. The overall dress was comfy-classy and stylish. I am 5' 10 but it wasn't as short as it looks on model. Since the overall dress is more conservative I liked that it was a little shorter.

DVF Definitely knows a woman's body - dress was adorable! I loved it.
The sleeves are rather long, but that and the bell cuffs are kind of the show pieces of the dress. It was very cute and got a lot of great comments. It is a bit short, but it looked great with tights and booties for a winter event. The sash was lovely, but this dress would also look good with a pop of color brought by a different belt. Overall, loved the look!

Fun, different LBD
I ended up not wearing this dress. The sleeves were too long and I looked a bit boxy around the shoulders. So, it didn't really flatter my body as well as it would had I been thinner/taller, perhaps? I ordered two sizes, thank goodness I didn't need the larger size as it was torn in the upper sleeve. I was not charged for this however, so all worked out. The customer service was helpful.

Comfy
I would like this dress as a staple in my closet -- it's comfy, well made, and the sleeves are cool -- but I would not recommend it for a special occasion. It feels more "work" or "meet the grandparents" than "cocktail," if that helps. Also: Neither dress (ordered size and back up) came with the belt, as promised in the description. Belts aren't particularly on trend anymore, so maybe that's why, but just an FYI!

Nothing
This dress runs small! I'm a size 8 in many designers. I ordered the 10 to be safe & was so uncomfortable. Also, I have a tiny waist & hips, with 34D chest. This was not a flattering style on me :(

Classy. Different than I expected.
I wasn't able to wear this dress because it was too big in the bust and shoulders. I'm very small- it probably runs true to size, maybe a bit large. The dress was heavier than I expected- there is a mess-like covering over the entire dress. I had thought just the arms had that woven texture. My husband loved it. It's a classy look, but in addition to being a bit large, it wasn't quite me. I had purchased a hot pink sash in advance to wear instead of the black belt and it looked great against the black. Had I worn it, I would have gone with this added bit of color. Pink, red, or other bright heels could also add a unique touch.

RUNS SMALL, TIGHT IN HIPS, SLEEVES A LITTLE LONG, NICE TEXTURE
Dress was rented for an informal christmas party. It is not roomy in the hips, so you have to size up if you are more pear shaped, The texture was nice, sleeves are also long if you are petite.

Did not work.
Oh, this was awful. I only tried on the larger size I ordered (8). The wrists were a bit snug and the bell-bottom of the sleeves were way too long; would have gotten into everything I ate. The lining has no give to it, which is fine, but whoa it was SHORT! Even with tights I couldn't wear it and I'm 5'3. This one just did not work out for me.
