This was my favorite RTR dress so far! I normally wear a 4 but rented the size 4 and 2 based on the feedback that it runs a little large. I could have worn the 2 however it was really short and form fitting. The 4 was a little roomy but definitely not too big and I think went with the understated sexy styling of the dress. I received a lot of compliments and was happy that while some other girls had similar dresses, none were of the quality or look of this DVF one. I would highly recommend this for any holiday event!

The dress was perfect. The fit was true to size and very flattering. It looked like liquid sparkle. I danced the night away very comfortably. Initially I was concerned that my arm movement would be limited, but it wasn't a problem at all.

I usually wear a 4 but the only size available was a 6. So, the dress was a little big but it still looked great. Very pleased with the rental.

But it does run small in the shoulders. Beware if you're athletic. I barely fit.

Fit was true to size

Rented to a Vegas trip The fit was great , it was short but in a sex way. I had to watch getting in and out of cabs. Received lots of compliments and felt sexy.

I ended up wearing the size 6 because my shoulders and arms are rather bold. The 4 fit but I felt I had more mobility in the shoulders in the 6 even though the waist was slightly bigger. I wore this dress out to New Year's Eve and got so many compliments. The sparkles shine but aren't too loud and the sleeves helped with a cold night. One of the best dresses I have EVER worn.

I was worried that this shift cut would make my hourglass shape look bulky (thanks, boobs), but wearing a size down made it close-fitting enough that it was flattering. The sequins on this dress have to be "petted" the right way, but once they are in place they are gorgeous, like wearing liquid. Sizing is pretty flexible because the fabric is somewhat stretchy, but runs large. I probably could have worn anything from a 0 to 4, so depending on how tight or slouchy a silhouette you're going for, anywhere from 2 sizes down to your regular size. The dress is pretty short on anyone average height or above, but to me this was a plus, since with the sleeves and conservative neckline, a little leg looked sexy while still classy IMO.

The dress was stunning! The only down side was that I couldn't raise my arms up too high or else my bottom would be on display. Other than that I loved every second of wearing it!

The dress was sensational! It fits true to size and the long sleeves kept me warm in cold weather. I loved it and received so many compliments.

This dress is so beautiful in person! It looks like black water all over your body. I got tons of compliments all night. It was a little snug in the arms and shoulders though.

I wore this dress to my company's Christmas party. I felt and looked fabulous throughout the night! The dress hugged tight and the sequins made me sparkle. I was very comfortable and received many many compliments. It's a fun dress! And sexy!

I wanted to order a 4 but it wasn't available. The 6 was fine. A little loose in the waist and hip but snug in the chest and shoulders. I was very comfortable dancing, sitting, eating etc. I think the sequin may have snagged my stockings slightly but not a huge deal.

My first rental! This was a fantastic dress! slightly miniature in length but very sexy, i definitely could've worn the 6 ad it would have looked just at good. but i liked the tightness of the 4. i am athletic and the arms were super tight on my back and arms (i didn't wear any bra with this dress either) but it still was movable in. I was so happy with the way this dress looked i might rent it again! i know weird, but its fabulous! Im obsessed with RTR now.

I rented this dress for a New Year's Eve party and boy was I glad I did. I felt and looked amazing. If your looking for a dress that will sparkle and don't mind black I would give this dress a try. I kept getting compliments all night and most importantly my husband couldn't take his eyes off me!!

True to size

Got lots of compliments on this dress I wore to a holiday fashion show. Although there were lots of "black sequined" dresses, I felt that this one stood out because of the high neck and long sleeves. It was pretty short on me (and I'm only 5'4), but since the rest of the dress was conservative, it was fine. Found it difficult to move my arms too much as the sleeves were constricting, so probably wouldn't be a good dancing dress. But if you're going to an event where you are mostly standing around - it looks great :)

True to size, a great mini, comfortable and sexy too! Husband said it was a great date dress!

I love this dress!! It's perfect for an occasion or just a fun night out with the girls! It runs a little large, so it was slouchy on me, but I loved the way it fit and would wear it this way next time.

Great dress! A bit snug through the shoulders since there's not much give in the fabric. As a petite size, I have a shorter torso, so this dress wasn't a perfect fit in that area, but it was close enough. The liner tended to want to sneak up a bit, but I think that had to do with my particular build. It didn't reveal anything since the sequin layer had a nice weight to it and always hanged in place correctly. Got many compliments and felt great wearing this dress.

This dress fits true to size. I wore a 6 - I am 5'3" and 128 lbs...with all the beautiful sequins, I couldn't fully raise my arms when dancing and I think this dress gets rented a lot, as many of the sequins were turned up on the back and the arms. Also, the dress had a strange smell - not sure of it was just a combination of perfumes, foods, etc. All in all, the dress made me feel very sexy and confident. Glad I rented it!

This dress was perfect for a night out in Vegas. I think the fit was great I am 5'6' 135lbs could have been a little bigger in the chest but overall it was great!

This dress was obviously well-made and the sequins were lovely...but the fit was not what i expected. It was quite baggy, actually...and i wore a zero! The dress fit loosely, like a t-shirt, and did virtually nothing for my figure.I also thought it was a little long, for a minidress. I found myself posing for photos while sort of pinching the side of the dress to make it look more fitted!

For a bodycon, overall sequin dress it is surprisingly comfortable. Wore dancing the night away in Vegas. Loved the liquid shine of these sequins. Fits tightly on arms and shoulders so was perfect for my small frame, but would recommend sizing up for larger chest, shoulders or arms. Length was just right for Vegas and had no issues of riding up

I'm 5'5", 138 lbs and this fit perfectly. No complaints.

This dress is now tied with another DVF as my all-time favorite rental. Once the sequins are laying flat (this will take you a while but it's *worth it*), it looks unbelievably sleek. I've never gotten so many compliments; some dude told me it was "working," if that does anything for you. I can't lie; it did for me. I'm always a 6 or 8 and could've worn the 4, but it felt tight in my shoulders, the sequins looked shabby (no longer all black due to cleaning), and I wanted it to be a little loose for dancing. The 6 was longer than I'd liked, though. I paired it with the Ettika Onyx Long Drop Earrings and minimal nude heeled sandals. I felt seriously sexy without really trying at all. DVF, how I love you. Perfect winter rental!

I wore this to my birthday which was at a upscale bar-club. Perfect dress to dance in, not too short. Moved well, felt great on, didn't feel snug or pull. I ordered a 4 and a 6 and went with the 6 for comfort but it didnt look too loose. Received lots of compliments!! Would rent again

This dress did double duty at two parties in one night - it was great to have on long sleeves for an outdoor cocktail hour. It is definitely short (even for a short girl). Would totally rent again!

This dress was awesome! I'm 5'8 and 135 pounds. I wore the size 6 but also go the size 4. The size 4 fit my waist a little better to show of my curves but was a bit tight thru the shoulders and a tad short for dancing. Size 6 was true to size. Super comfortable and got lots of compliments. LOVED it!

Love this dress! Wore it for a bachelorette in Nashville. Went with the 2 so it was more shifty. Super comfortable and perfect for a cool evening. I'm 5'5" and it was a great length, wasn't worried at all. Didn't rub or itch, was very photogenic. Highly suggest!! Love DVF.

I normally wear a 6 but was able to comfortably fit into a 4. The dress is meant to me a little loose but it was a sexy/snug fit on me. And the black liquid look of the dress was stunning

It was tight in the shoulders/chest but wearable. I do not have narrow shoulders but I am a 34B so it usually balances out. It was a chilly night and so nice to have long sleeves. It is just the right length to show off your legs but don't lift your arms all the way up when dancing. It was fitted but not too tight in the waist so I didn't have to hold it in all night :)

Fit was true to size. Especially if you have some curves. Im 5'2 and wear a 4 and it was perfect! The shimmer on the dress is perfect .

Love the sparkle and shine of this dress! It's super short however runs a bit large in the waist. It was perfect for a GNO to celebrate my birthday.

Fit was pretty true to size, loved the long sleeves, the back gapped a bit where the zipper was but overall fit was ok. I think I fell somewhere in-between the 4 and 6 on this one, but chose the bigger size for comfort. Lots of compliments, worn for a fancy dinner date and night out to the casino!

As noted in other reviews, the shoulders and arms are quite narrow. I needed help zipping this dress up since I couldn't raise my arms. Once I got the dress on, it was very comfortable. The length was perfect for me at 5'4''. I can see where it would be quite short on someone with longer legs.
