I wore this for our Senoir Soiree before graduation. It was comfortable andI got compliment on it all night. I (sigh) didn't want to send it back.....can't wait for the next event so I can rent another fabulous dress!

I hadn't picked this one out, the stylist suggested it (OT: I found the stylist advice via email to be far superior to the advice via chat...Lindsey G, you rock). This dress is a beautiful color, drapes beautifully on a long body (even with saddlebag thighs). You'll be comfortable, and a stand-out from all the black/dark dressed women. A-maz-ing.

The color and fabric of this dress is lovely. However, it does not give you much of a waistline, so if you are curvy, I think it will tend to make you look heavier.

Thanks to the thoughtful reviews and detailed descriptions that go with every dress option, I was able to confidently order this dress and not worry about trying it on until the day before the event! I'm between a size 6 and a size 8, so I ordered both to be safe, and really appreciate the free back-up dress size option. Both fit fine, with the size 8 having a little more room in the chest area + a couple of snag looking threads hanging of the front bodice, so I wound up wearing the size 6. The color is well represented on the online photos, and most importantly I felt comfortable with the cut and fit. Received compliments throughout the night; even at the burger joint where we stopped on the way home (see pic), by then hungry and worn out!

I rented two dresses for a wedding, and I did not end up wearing this dress, even though it really is lovely. The dress I wore Lela Rose Peacock) just ended up being an obvious winner! But this dress is light, has nice movement and is very comfortable. I ordered a size 4, and it fit very well.

Loved this dress. So comfortable no slipping, but I did use the fashion tape provided. I am a size 8-10 but the 8 fit perfectly and was truly flattering. I am usually known for my shoes, but this dress stole the show. I also rented the bangle bracelets which were a hit. I wore those the next night with jeans before I had to return my rental.

I usually love rtr. I have rented several times from them, but this rental was a huge disapointment. The dress was way to big, when i opened the box, the dress was very wrinkled. The worst part, there was a stain on the dress. I could not even wear it for the wedding.

I rented this for a museum gala at almost 4.5 months pregnant. It doesn't have any zipper or closures but wasn't difficult to pull on. I liked the waist detail with gathering and tassel tie. The length was also nice at the knee, though the asymmetrical lining was a little short.

The dress fits true to size and has a great flow to it. The color is stunning and really stands out in the crowd. It could easily be dressed up for a more formal event, though I wore it for a summer wedding at a country club. I would definitely wear this dress again.

Should have ordered a 2, but had a 4. The dress was definitely cute and was great for a summertime wedding, but if its even slightly big, the draping will look odd.

Wore this dress to a fashion show. I was guest, not a model, but had at least 10 people ask if I was in the show because I looked so fabulous! Paired the dress with nude, patent leather, open-toed heels and simple gold bangles. The dress runs very true to size and the fabric is light and airy. **NOTE** Because the fabric is so delicate, it wrinkled during shipping. I had to get it pressed the day before the show. It has lots of pleats-don't try pressing at home! Make sure to allow extra delivery time to accommodate pressing if necessary.

Wore the dress to a wedding and was a perfect dress to dine and dance in. Ran a little bigger than I expected and should have gotten the smaller size. Still looked great under a black blazer for the ceremony and on the dance floor for the reception. Super easy to wear.

This dress is a very pretty color but besides that there is nothing really special about it. Good dress for a dinner party, which is what I used it for. It doesn't show your shape very well and is more flown so if you are trying to hide anything this might be a good choice. It wrinkles kind of easily too.

I loved this dress! It was wrinkled on arrival, but quickly remedied with my steamer. It does indeed run large, I am usually a 10, but the 8 fit with room to spare. I think I could have worn a 6! It's very comfortable and I received a lot of flattering feedback from my friends.

For dresses, I usually wear a size 2, but the DVF in size 2 was a bit tight around the bust for me. Not to mention, it was more fit all the way around, and I lost the flow-like quality of the dress. To get a better drape and to get some length, I wore the size 4. I got lot of compliments throughout the night; my friends compared me to a Roman goddess (think upscale toga).

I rented this dress for a night time work event. I usually wear an 8 and I ordered an 8 and a 10, knowing that DVF can run small. Not this time. I was completely swimming in the 8. I felt that something around the waist should have been adjustable. I looked like a sac of potatoes in it...maybe that's because I don't have a waist. Either way, it was just too big. I have a generous rib cage and carry any extra weight in my tummy. I would definitely recommend sizing down on this one, girls.

I rented this to change into from my bridesmaid dress (which was long and formal and not good for dancing). I chose it because it was the same color as my bridesmaid dress and it looked like it would be a safe bet fit wise because it isn't very structured. If you are between a 4 and a 6 you probably want to go with the 4. I could have used a piece of fashion tape under the arm to attach the dress to my strapless bra but it worked out o.k. If you are smaller busted (A or B) and young enough you could definitely get away without a bra because of the draping. Really beautiful dress. No pics yet but I'll post if I get a good one.

This was my backup dress and the other dress ran large so I had no choice but to wear it. It is really pretty and flattering on. The dress though is very delicate and the sheer top twists every so often pulling up in the back.The front is longer than the back but it looks nice. The top is also a little large for a small busted woman.... of all times I needed the double sided tape it was not included in my order :( I would size one-two sizes down on this.

I got this as part of a coupon-deal from RTR with another dress that I actually wore...this just wasn't the right dress for my body type.

I rented this dress for a semi-formal event at which I would have to be speaking. I wanted to be comfortable and not self-conscious (and I couldn't wear anything too risque). This dress definitely fit the bill. I was very comfortable; it covered everything; I could wear a bra; and I wasn't tugging and readjusting all night. That being said, if I hadn't been in a position where I was speaking to the crowd and had to take on a slightly more conservative look, I would not have worn this dress. It didn't really do much for me. I felt attractive enough - but certainly would have gone in another direction. Also - IMPORTANT - it wrinkles really easily and you should probably rent it so that you have enough time to steam it if needed.

I am confused by the other reviews that say this dress ran large - because I am normally a size 6/8 (ended up wearing a size 4 shoshana dress for a wedding I rented this for) and the 8 ran quite small in this dress. Maybe it shrunk? I don't know, I could have used a 10. I usually have to go up a size in DVF and found this one no different.

I found this garment to be "limp" and much in need of steaming or ironing and I had no access to either. It just didn't have the "body" of the picture. Kind of hung there on me.

I was excited about the asymmetrical style but the dress was too baggy to make the look work. Was not flattering so didn't wear it.

the sizing was a tad odd though. I wore the smaller size (the size i usually wear) but it didn't look at all like it does on the model. It was much more form fitting, but still rather grecian feel. The larger size was lovely, but according to my friends, who were consulted, pre event not as sexy.

I rented this dress for a semi formal benefit for Meals on Wheels. It fit perfectly, and is forgiving for those of us with a little bit of a tummy. I received many complements - the color is beautiful. I felt beautiful wearing this dress -- it has a Greek goddess feel to it. I actually looked online to see if I could purchase it somewhere but it isn't available anywhere. Highly recommend!
