This dress just fit like a glove and was super comfortable to dance in. The dress looks great in photos because the color is so vibrant. I liked the detail on the cap sleeve.

I loved this dress! It was great for a casual night out in Vegas - the color is gorgeous and there was a fun little detail with a tiny cutout on the shoulders and underneath the top of the dress at the collar is a darker purple leather layer that when it peaks out is cute! Super comfy and stretchy and true to size.

I wore this dress to two weddings in one day! It was very comfortable and easy to move around in. The fabric has a great stretch to it, and it's very flattering. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to pull off a classy yet trendy look. I ordered the 6 and the 8, but the small seam tacking the black lining around the inside of the neckline was broken on the size 6. When I tried it on, it didn't seem to look quite right as you could see the black lining showing. So I went with the 8 instead. It was a little looser in the hip and thigh area, but still looked great! The dress is fitted enough, I would recommend going one size up for the back-up in case you aren't as comfortable with such a form fitting dress. The fabric is nice and thick, so it should be flattering on all body types!

This was my first RTR rental, and I am pleased at how well it went. I rented a 6 and an 8, and both ended up fitting. I chose the 6, which was a bit snug but nice for date night. The dress looks classy and fits well. The color is a much more vivid purple in person, but I loved it! I wish I could find it to buy. I also got the Badgley Mischka Falling Leaf earrings as a stylist surprise, and they were big, blingy, and fun.

I loved this dress. It fit perfect!. The dress was extremely comfortable and the length was just right. The dress is much more purple then the photo shows, which I loved. I wore it to the Lion King on Broadway for Valentines Day. its dressy enough without feeling over dressed.

I rented this for my bridal shower, and while I wasn't sure at first if I would like the color, this is my favorite dress that I've rented so far! I've tried to find it to buy it, but haven't had any luck. Such a great dress!

This dress is beautiful! I rented it for a bridal shower and it was classy but still sexy. The color is bold and gorgeous and really pops! I rented a 4 and a 6 but was only shipped the 4 due to a mix up with hurricane Sandy and the 4 ended up fitting perfect. It accentuates your curves very well! May I also say the Rent The Runway team gave superb service due to the circumstances on the East Coast... you guys are wonderful!

Absolutely loved this dress! I got so many compliments on the color alone, which is much brighter and bolder than the website depicts. I am typically a 2-4, and the 4 fit me perfectly. Definitely size up for backup! I tried the 2 on in a store and it was way too tight!

Rented this dress for an award banquet. It was gorgeous yet still elegantly simple. It fit slightly on the smaller size (I ended up wearing the 6 instead of the 4 and I am usually a true 4 dress size) Great length, just above the knee. Beautiful material and great color. Love the sleeves--they are cap but split in the middle

Loved the color of this dress, it's even more vibrant in person. The 6 fit like a glove but I opted to wear the 8 so I would feel more comfortable. The black lining around the neckline sometimes showed which was slightly annoying

Everything about this dress was great, it just wasn't my style. It has a pretty high neckline for my taste, so it was weird for me to get used to, but I'm sure there are people that don't necessarily like low necklines all the time. The color is great and I felt I looked good while wearing it to a beautiful steak dinner.

I ordered a 6 and a 8 and ended up wearing the 8. In my opinion, the sizes run a bit small, but the 8 fit wonderfully and was super flattering. I got a ton of compliments and would definitely rent this dress again.

When I read the other reviews on this dress, I decided to rent up a size. This dress was a bit big actually and I should have stayed true to my regular RTR size of 2 and 4. Otherwise, it was perfect and loved the color.

I loved the color of his dress...great alternative for Valentine's Day instead of the sea of reds and blacks. The fabric was thin so didn't have much help in shaping well for me. Should have worn spanx :-). Wore with black pumps.

I'm 5'2", 128 pounds, generally a size 4. The size 4 was a body-con fit on me, which would have been perfect for a date or wedding. I opted to wear the size 6 since I was going to a business event. Beautiful color and fabric; very comfortable and low-maintenance.

I never received the dress. There was an issue with the size I ordered. I still gave this review 5 stars because I stylist promptly contacted me about the issue and assisted me with finding a more than suitable alternative (honoring the same rental price although the replacement was priced higher) in a crunch. This dress is a stunner. It is short and has an amazing back, but isn't low cut, so you're not giving too much away. I wore spanx and I think that was needed to smooth everything out since the dress is tight, but oh so flattering! Also, any dress that can be worn with a regular bra is a huge perk. I would definitely rent again and would buy it if I ever won the lottery. A MUST-RENT in my opinion!

This is my all time favorite dress on RTR. I have now rented it four times (should probably look into buying it. The fabric is nice and heavy with a little bit of stretch. The color is a little darker than it appears in the picture but is still beautiful. Every time I wear it I feel beautiful and sophisticated.

This was an awesome dress! It fit perfectly and hugged all the right places. It is sexy and sophisticated as it is more covered in the front and a slight V in the back. Once in person, the purple is darker. I'd describe it as more of a grape. But I absolutely loved this dress!

This is an amazing body conscious dress that hugs curves. It looks great on and the color really stands out - it is definitely a dress to get noticed in. I got 2 sizes, and though both fit, the size up was slightly easier to dance in.

definitely do not rent this dress if you have medium to broad shoulders. would be good for someone with narrow shoulders. the cap sleeves make you look really wide up top. this was a backup for me thankfully! nice fabric and came in good condition. just not for us athletic girls!
