I couldn't tell about the material of the dress from the model or pictures, but it feels like polyester and is brownish in color. It was very fitted on top (I'm smaller on top and this was a size 4) but it had some give on the hips and thighs. I loved the way the fabric fell just right and gave coverage/movement. It was pretty short, but stayed put. Wish I could own this dress!

AMAZING fit! True to size, very comfortable (I could eat at the wedding and dance). SHORT but super sexy! I am about 5'6" and I felt amazing, even with very tall heels. It didn't ride up when I was dancing. HIGHLY recommended - but not sure how well it would work with larger-busted women.

Really awesome dress. I'm pretty busty and it fit really well. Was definitely a little short, but stayed down so it wasn't a problem. Very flattering shape, got a lot of compliments on it.

I'm usually in between a size 4 & 6, and I ended up wearing the size 6 but it was a bit loose up top and even slightly on the bottom, so this is pretty true to size. The black slip underneath kept riding up all night so I suggest using some fashion tape to keep it in place. But even with that I was completely in love with the color and design of this dress, it was super comfortable and perfect for the event! Also, the Rebecca Minkoff clutch was beautiful and just what I needed—I was able to fit my iphone, keys, mascara, concealer and lipstick, so it can fit quite a bit!

I wore it to prom at my high school and it was perfect. It fit great and was edgy and appropriate.

Loved this dress. very cool cut and designer. Felt like the bottom of the dress rode up slightly but loved it and got a lot of compliments!

Fit like a glove, extremely comfortable, goes with silver or gold. I wore silver, metallic strappy heels and emerald green earrings and it looked awesome. Very fun, different piece that stood out. Usually wear a 0 or 2 in dresses as I am very small up top and the 2 fi great. It is short though , just as short as on the model and I am almost 5'6. If you like short then you will be fine with it.

The dress fit great ! I am short waisted with long legs so I was nervous the bodice would be to Bunchy on top. But it fit great! I normally wear a 0 or 2, so the 2 was perfect. I paired it with a Skinny studded belt and a necklace. It was short, but not over the top. The dress is very edgy and has a neat shine to it! I was sad to return it!

I wore this dress to a wedding and couldn't have been happier. I chose it because I thought it would be a nice modest yet fun dress to wear around my friend's family. Don't worry, it is still quite sexy and really shows off all of your best assets. I would def be careful as the booty is tight and the fabric does not stretch. Overall so gorgeous, got tons of compliments and even my mom told me I should buy the dress. Definitely recommend and would totally rent again!!

Loved this dress! Cute, chic and fun for an evening wedding! The dress was really comfortable and flattering; I felt like it disguised my problem area (mid-section) better than most dresses do. As other reviewers stated, there is no stretch in this material so I sized up. My only negative about the dress was that the draping on the bottom kept flipping over, revealing the underside of the fabric. Otherwise, loved this dress so much that I was sad to pack it up and ship it back to RTR!

I loved this dress! Wearing it made me feel edgy and feminine all at once. At first I thought the colors weren't going to be bright enough to make me stand out but after putting it on I realized I was completely wrong. I got a 2 and a 4. I usually wear a 0-2. I could get the 2 on and zipped but because there's no stretch in the fabric whatsoever so it was skin tight, uncomfortable and too short. I went with the 4, which fit more comfortably. I thought the 2 actually looked better on it's own because it was very fitted at the waist. But the 4 looked great once I cinched it with my metal belt. I wore this dress out on my birthday and I loved it. Fits really nice around the curves and the length is perfect for a party dress. Definately recommend it for a night out in the city.

The size 2 fit but was quite snug. Since I was going dancing, I opted for the 4 which gave me a less fitted look but still looked nice. For some reason I thought the fabric was stretchy, but it is not at all! And it was also shorter than I thought it would be but I got used to it. Overall, it is a beautiful, unique dress and I would recommend renting it.

I loved this dress! I wore it to a Greek concert (yes, us Greeks get dressed up for concerts!) I received many compliments on it! I am petite but have a booty and I didn't know which size would fit best, so I ordered a 2 and 4. The 2 ended up working out!

I ordered this dress for my 24th birthday. It fit perfect. I bought fashion tape to help keep the liner down, but had little success. The liner kept riding up, which caused only slight discomfort. The fashion tape did come in handy to keep the sash in place. I think the dress I got had been worn quite a bit because the sash wasn't laying as it should have and the zipper was worn. Regardless of the slight issues, I looked great and felt and had an amazing time in the dress!

I ordered the 4 and 6 but ended up going with the 4. It was a little short but ended up fitting my body much better! i wore a regular bra with this dress and never really had any problems with it other than the fact I kept having to pull it down. I wore black 5 inch T-strap heels and they looked great with the dress. Overall it was a great night and i loved the way I looked!

Beautiful dress and color. Looks good with a tan! There was a slight tear in the hem which made a little hole. Unnoticeable to others but I felt a bit uncomfortable knowing it was there!

Size 4 fit perfectly on me-5'5", 120lb, 34B. I belted it and wore gold jewelry and nude shoes. Easy to dance in, comfortable. Would not recommend for someone with a large bust because it was a bit tight in the chest, without much stretch.

I got tons of compliments on this dress and it was perfect for a night out in Vegas! I will say (like others did), it is VERY SHORT! I wanted short for Vegas, so it worked, but it rode up all night and I was constantly tugging on it! I'm a little over 5'5" and between a 2-4 and I definitely could not have gone smaller than the 4, because of the length! For this reason, I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5. But overall, I really loved this dress!

I read all of the reviews online and most people said it runs small. I am between a 4 and a 6 but typically wear a 6 in structured dresses. If you are familiar with BCBG's sizing I would say it's very comparable, so use that as a guideline. The picture on RTR makes it look like the dress is stretchy and there is some give, but not much. I wore this for New Years 2013 so I paired with black tights and black velvet booties, a metal and beaded necklace, and a statement bracelet. Overall received many compliments and I would definitely rent again. Everything came in on time and the return was extremely easy. :)

Wore it for my birthday night out and I had an awesome time! Everyone thought I looked good and my boyfriend loved it as well - the zipper kept getting a little stuck (even with the dress completely off my body) and it always happened at the exact same point. The dress also had less stretch than the picture implies - it still fit great, but didn't have a lot of give to it. The fold on the front was also slightly awkward, but other than that the dress looked great!

The color was pretty and the fit was perfect, tight - but not too tight and nice coverage in the belly area - very slimming. I found it to be the perfect length but since I'm very short it may be too short for taller women. There was a bit of extra fabric in the bust area, but not a big deal.

Was a little shorter than I expected but looked good, didn't like the neckline as much, I would recommend wearing the necklace on the model or something like it to cover up the cheap-looking neckline.

I really loved this dress! From the length to the fit....it was perfect! I am 5'3 and am always concerned about length but this dress seemed like it was made just for me! You can wear a regular bra and it is super comfortable...no tugging or pulling. The color is slightly off from the photo, more gold- brown. I wore a brassy gold shoe and it worked like a charm! I would def recommend this dress to wear to a fun party!

Dress was good but not a knockout on me. Fit was fine, stretch where I needed it, was able to dance and not worry about showing anything inappropriate. Rented it for a bachelorette party in Miami - forgive the ridiculous sunglasses and pose. Overall good dress but doesn't photograph very well with that metallic print. Probably wouldn't rent again.

Great fit, lots of give at hip area

This was the second time I rented from RtR. I wore this dress to my friend's wedding in Miami. Rented sizes 4 and 6 - the 4 fit well but the 6 made the length a little more wedding-appropriate. I'm only 5'1" so the skirt hit slightly lower than mid-thigh. The draping and the pattern made this dress super flattering and the cut was comfortable enough that I could eat and dance all day (and all night) long. A word of caution - there is no stretch to this fabric: bend and sit with care. Overall another awesome rental experience; thanks RtR!! Daniel Vosovic is a genius and I highly recommend this dress!

Definitely is true to size. I rented a 2 and a 4...the 2 fit but was pretty snug. Ended up wearing the 4 - a little loose, but the dress fell lower on my legs. I'm about 5'4'' and it still came to about mid thigh on my. Might want to cross your legs when sitting, but you can wear a regular bra with it.

I'm 5'6" and usually wear a size zero so I was worried the size 2 would be a little large, but that's the smallest size they had. It actually fit pretty well though. I was very satisfied with this dress. It was comfy and I got several compliments.
