I wore this to a formal winter wedding and it was perfect! The color was beautiful. The material is very flattering and the ruching/bow around the middle distracts from the mommy pooch. I was worried it might be to matronly with the cap sleeves, but the low back and high slit keep it sexy. I’m 5’7 and the length was perfect with heels. Highly recommend!

Great fit, very flattering, got a lot of compliments! Prepare for a low bra in the back, that was tricky. My particular dress was loose on top (probably from prior wear), I tried to use dress tape but my shawl was better at ensuring my bra straps didn’t show.

So I was nervous to find a dress for a black tie wedding because Im a lil curvy. Im 5 5' and 185 lbs and wanted to look and feel good in a nice dress. I ordered an XL and it fit so nicely, I actually think *this* dress I could've gotten a large because the chest was a little loose but it looked good hanging on the edge of my shoulders so it was not necessarily a negative thing. Ladies this dress is so pretty. The fabric has weight to it and ties at the waist to accentuate your curves and hide a lil belly. I always wear a waist cincher because I like a "pin up" look so thats my lil advice to you if you like that. The chest is open, comes in at the waist and it just makes you feel so elegant. This is a good dress, highly recommend.

I loved the dress! It was a little too large in the bust area. I had to use a safety pin 🧷 Other than that it was great for the occasion!!!

Nice stretch to the fabric and flattering in the body. I had a hard time filling in the bust, the the waist line on a 8L fit like a true 8.

This dress fit great! I felt comfortable and confident. It was a very humid Texas evening but this dress withstood heat and 200+ guests. I'm 5'3 and it almost to the floor but my 3" heels made it the perfect length. I didn't need to wear a bra and it was great to dance, sit, and drive in. Highly recommend it for a black tie or formal occasion!

Was well made and had an elegant feel. The scoop back (not too low) check to make sure your undergarments are not above the scoop back line. The leg split was very sexy but not smutty. Lol. The length was perfect as I am 5'4" and it slimmed me down and hid all lumps and bumps. This dress even had rubber strips to prevent the shoulders from slipping. I couldn't have had a tailor make it more fitted. A PERFECT DRESS. Note: Check your bag as soon as you get it, I was missing my 2nd size.

Selected this dress last minute for a "black tie" wedding in the mountains. It fit perfectly, hugged in the right areas including a nice tie in the front. I ended up getting a SL (long) as a back up to the SR (regular), which looked better when wearing heels. I initially was worried about the material because it looks a little too comfortable but I 100% would rent again if not buy for formal events. Beautiful color too!

This dress is amazing! Definitely went up a size because it seems like all gowns run small. The fabric is somewhat forgiving, and wasn't heavy. The slit was a tiny bit high, so I had to make sure my shapewear wasn't sticking out. If I could, I would buy this dress!

I forgot the tie was supposed to be in the front, but it still looked great. A bit tight around the lower midsection, but overall a really elegant glamorous dress

Absolutely gorgeous dress looked really nice on me. It was a little tough to fit - I’m 5’5” and wore 2.5 inch heels and it was *just* off the ground. I didn’t own a bra that worked perfectly with the cut and fashion tape was no match over the course of the evening. The slit is also very high and very tight and I was both worried about flashing someone and tearing the dress all evening — all that said, overall looked really nice and even feeling slightly wiggly and worried all evening, I looked amazing and that was great!

The waist tie made adjusting the fit easy.

Loved it! And I received many complements. The med long also fit (my husband liked it better) but was snug. I felt more confident and comfortable in the large long.

Loved this dress and got so many compliments on it. It hugged and hid in all the right places. My only complaint would be that since I am a small chested girl, there wasn’t a lot to hold it together dine the back is open. I had to use double-sided tape to make sure that it wouldn’t fall off my shoulders.

I wore this dress to a nonprofit gala and it was perfect! Fabric is comfortable and slightly stretchy, but isn't too clingy. And you can wear a regular bra! Doesn't get much better than that.

Wore this to a black tie optional wedding and it delivered!!! Super sexy and slinky, makes you feel like a million bucks, and very flattering. The color is gorgeous. It even paired fine with my sneakers after my feet got tired of heels. (I wore with sling back gold pumps).

Dress is form fitting but has a nice thick stretchy material. It’s very simple but has a very high slit and you cannot wear a regular bra. I’m quite short but the regular length, with 2-3 inch heels, turned out perfectly. Loved the dress and got tons of compliments.

I purchased this to wear to my brother’s wedding. It fit really well and the length was perfect for me with a 3 inch heel (I’m 5’ 5.5”). I took my heels off and put on flat sandals during the reception and the dress dragged the ground a bit but it was doable. Lots of compliments all night! Would definitely recommend this dress.

The fit was perfect. The material of the dress was stretchy so it fit just right. True back is too low for a regular bra so have an alternative available.

I needed a gown for a formal event and this one was perfect. I had a few different ones to pick from RTR, the others were the wrong size, but this one was PERFECT. It was elegant and classy. I’m 5’2 and could wear my most comfortable black pumps - maybe 2-3 inches and it just hit the floor. I loved the fabric because it was slightly thicker, which was good for the 40 degree weather. And it smoothed over my curves - I didn’t need to wear spanx. The back was just an inch or half an inch too low for me to wear a bra. I wish I had found one with a low strap in the back, so I could have worn one. Otherwise, I felt beautiful!!

I am typically a size medium but I ended up wearing the small due to the length (I’m 5’2”). The medium was 2-3” longer than the small. This dress is stretchy so the small was only a little tight. Not uncomfortable at all. I got tons of compliments on the dress!

I got so many compliments on this dress, and it was pretty comfy! It fit well other than being slightly loose in the top causing the back to sit a bit low, so I did have to purchase a bra that specifically had a low back.

The gala was actually “business casual” so I chose this rather than the others that seemed too formal. I paired with 3.5” heels and it just skimmed the floor. I could have worn the XS but I knew I’d be sitting and eating and wanted some more give in the middle. The small was just a tad loose in the neckline so I used tape to keep it from falling over my shoulders.

Didnt end up wearing this option as it was a little too formal for the wedding im attending BUT I would def rent this another time. Fits the body like a glove. The fabric is think enough to not show any lumps or bumps. Sizing was spot on for me.

This is my first RTR experience, and it was flawless. I’ve lost 80 pounds in the past year and was really unsure of my size, but the reviews really helped! The dress arrived early, which took away all the worry. It skimmed the floor — I’m 5’10” — and I felt amazing in it. I wore a strapless bra and didn’t need shape wear. SO many compliments, from family, friends, and complete strangers. Can’t wait for our next wedding in two weeks — and another RTR dress!

Felt so beautiful in this dress, although I don't think pictures did it justice in how it flattered my figure as well as the color of it. I think when I rented it initially I thought it would be a lighter teal, but it looks more navy-ish in person. I did have to size up.

I ordered the XS Regular and XS Petite. Both fit great but ultimately went with the petite size as it fit better in my shoulders and the length was more ideal. I received a lot of compliments on the dress and would recommend this to anyone looking for a formal floor-length dress!
