LOVED this dress; got so many compliments and many people urged me to buy it. Two things to keep in mind: 1) It is very snug. I got a S and M (wore the M) and wish I'd gotten M and L. L would've likely been more comfortable. If you're debating, esp. for a back-up size, DEFINITELY get the larger size. I am slim but have dancer/athletic thighs, so may not be an issue for people with a different body shape. 2) The sequins will catch your hair if you have long-enough hair and wear it down. I ended up wearing my hair exclusively over one shoulder for the night. Otherwise, really, really great dress! Creative, unique, and lovely!

This dress was fabulous!! It was comfortable, flattering and had jus the right amount of sparkle. I figured our awards night didn't have to be boring just because we went virtual! I got TONS of compliments and I felt amazing - the best part was not having to wear high heels!! The only negative thing I can say is that it was difficult to zip by myself since the zipper is on the side at an awkward angle. Despite that, would highly recommend!!

This dress was amazing! The sequins isn't too sparkly so it works well for a more formal party. I received so many compliments. The only thing to note is that the arm sleeve is snug.

I must have been stopped over a dozen times to comment on this dress. I ordered the Small and Medium. I first tried on the medium and did not love it. When I tried on the small it looked great but spanx are required. This is meant to be a body con dress. I felt amazing in this dress.

This dress is tight! I would normally wear a size small but the dress was snug. I felt comfortable in the dress. I liked the length of the dress and of the long sleeve. A con would be having to pull the dress down so that the side zipper would bulge out. Loved this dress!!

Rented this for a fancy holiday party. Attire did range all up and down the board, but most people went for it. Never felt overshadowed in this gorgeous number. It was very flattering. I might have normally worn Spanx, but I was 12 weeks pregnant, so I just wore some control top pantyhose and honestly felt fine because the dark colors and sequins helped smooth things. It is form fitting but extremely supple and not tight, so it was surprisingly easy to dance in.

Suggest a size up, I'm 5'11" 170lbs. Could for into the medium but I would have been more comfortable in a large.

I hardly ever wear tight "mermaid" dresses cause I'm self-conscious about my tummy, but this dress is incredibly flattering and the ombre is stunning! The sequins are understated and not scratchy at all; it's very high quality. Perfect for an early spring event (60-65 degree weather). The medium fit just right - the right length for my 5'9" frame and the right fit around my 34 B boobies. And it's comfortable - I wore it for 4 hours no problem!

Dress the Population is a great brand for curvy folks, lots of stretch in the stomach and hip area. This was a super fun dress for New Years Eve, got lots of compliments!

I wore this to a formal wedding in October at 30 weeks pregnant. I am 5'6" & I was about 170 lbs & 36DD. It fit like a glove. I didn't wear a bra with this - it zipped up snug enough i didn't feel it was necessary. I don't think I could have worn the medium the next week but it was perfect & comfortable at that time. The lining is a soft stretchy cotton. slightly annoying: the zipper is hard to pull up (get help) & the arm sequins would stick to the bodice sequins.

I'm 5'9" and typically wear a 6-8 dress and am a 38C, but I am broader in the shoulder area. When putting on the dress, I was worried my husband wouldn't be able to zip it. Not sure what the Large would've looked like, but a Small would definitely NOT have fit.

I wore this to a black tie party and got so many compliments from people of all ages on this dress. The reviews are correct in that the dress runs small. I normally wear a size S or between 2 and 4 and I had to wear the medium in this dress. The small fit but was skin tight and I wouldn't want to eat in that dress. The medium was super comfortable and easy to move in. I would gladly rent again!

I'm quite pear shaped (36" chest, 30" waist, 43" hips) and this dress still fit great, it has a ton of stretch so it's very forgiving. The sleeve was a bit tight, but not bad. The red part is much darker in person, but the color shift is still noticeable.

All the reviews that suggest sizing up are true. I had to order my normal size because that was all that was in stock and it was TIGHT. There is very little to no stretch and even with shape wear it was hard to zip up. I wore it anyway and got tons of compliments, and it really is gorgeous in person but would have surely been more comfortable in the next size up.

I am 5'6" and this dress was almost mid-calf length on me (pretty long). I would've liked it better if it was at my knees. It was also very tight and I am a true size 5.

This dress is definitely makes you standout and have beautiful on! Very form fitting yet still stretchy enough to be comfortable. The dress is showing some signs of wear (loose threads, missing sequins) but not noticeable unless you're wearing it. The sequins under the arm weren't scratchy at all. I received compliments all night long and the best part is that I felt amazing in it. Would probably rent again even though the wear in the dress is a concern.

This dress was wonderful. It's stylish, comfortable and a show stopper. My only complaint was that the sleeve is very tight. I don't have large arms but I did have a moment when putting on the dress that I didn't think it would fit over my upper arm. I probably could have worn a XS if it wasn't for the sleeve. So if you have larger arms, I do not recommend. I'm a size 6, 5'5" and 140lbs and ended up wearing the S. The dress is also starting to show some signs of wear that were noticeable up front but not from a distance. Overall, I was very satisfied with this dress.

It naturally highlights your curves and best assets!! I'm petite but I'm in no way shape or form "fit" or in shape but this dress just highlights all of your curves in a good way! The sequins are a nice distraction from any unwanted bra or panty lines, you could literally wear granny panties and no one could tell. I was so worried what the one sided arm part would fit like but like I said it fits perfect, there's no looseness or extra material. You will feel like Beyoncé in this I guarantee it.

I was struggling to decide which size to get. I normally would have gotten a M, but after reading reviews, I am so glad I went with a L. It fits like a glove! I did have a bit of a problem with the strings under the armpit getting stuck at first and the two layers felt like they were shifting. Other than that, it was perfect for a nice fall day wedding. I got a lot of compliments! I would rent again!
