Beautiful dress & got lots of compliments. The top was tight on me, and I didn’t realize I had a wide torso.

This dress was gorgeous fit perfectly. I usually wear a 4-6 so I ordered a small and medium. The small would zip around my rib cage. It was a great dress to dance in perfect length, I’m 5’5” and was just a tiny bit off the floor with ~2 1/2” heels. It was a wonderful dancing dress too.

I loved this dress so much! I wore it for a fall wedding and it was the perfect fit. I’m 10 months postpartum so I’m a bit self conscious about my body right now, but in this dress I felt so confident. My sizing is all over the place and I’m normally about a 12/14 currently and went with the XXLR and it fit perfectly. I was even tempted to keep the dress!

I LOVED this dress! I was so happy with it. I am a solid size 8, and the size large fit perfectly. It was tight enough to be flattering, but loose enough to be comfortable! I cannot recommend this dress enough!

Beautiful material--the bust runs slightly large I would say, and I wish I had gotten the long instead of the regular, but that's on me :-).

It can be hard to find a summer dress that is fancy enough for a black tie event, but feels summery in terms of fabric and vibe. This dress did just the trick and I felt very comfortable in it!

The bust area is semi cone shaped, maybe made for a bigger bust. As an A cup I didn’t fully fill it. Not a deal breaker since the rest of the dress fit my body well. It was form fitting enough to require pulling up when sitting. The design received many compliments throughout the evening.

I was very pleased with this dress and got lots of compliments. The bust is structured so that may be uncomfortable for some. Also form fitting through the hips so somewhat constructs movement. The adjustable straps were a plus. The dress code for the event I wore it to was "elegant summer chic" and I think this for the bill. I neglected to check any labels, but pretty certain this is polyester or another synthetic fabric so it does not breathe and can be hot for an outdoor summer affair. Loved the embroidered flower details.

I ordered an XSR and SP and went with the SP because it was more comfortable while still fitting well. Since it was petite the height was perfect with 4 inch heels (I’m only 5’ 1” so this is a huge win!). The XSR fit slightly better up top but was a bit tighter, and also slightly longer than the SP, so I went with comfort and better length. Definitely want to have some chest to fill out the top which worked well for me but may be an issue for some. Overall I loved the look of the dress and was so happy I chose this one for a black tie optional wedding!

One of the first times I felt really good postpartum! Made me look a lot smaller than I am 😂 so that was appreciated! 10/10 recommended! Excellent quality.

I wore this to a fundraiser auction with a woodland fairytale theme so I leaned into it with some floral dress choices. I only ordered the Medium of this one. It fit me well in the hips but was a little big on top (my boobs did not fill it out) so the straps also fell down frequently when I was using my arms to hold things for part of the event. If I made the straps tighter it looked funny over the boobs so I ultimately kept the straps where they should be instead of tighter. People loved the dress and I got many compliments on it. Would’ve been nice to have a small to try but it was fine!

Great dress for a formal summer wedding guest. It was a little stiff, but still able to dance the right away.

I likely should have gotten one size up. I have a wide rib cage so zipping it up was a challenge, but we got it. The boning and bodice were super tight and kind of painful by the end of the night but it looked fabulous and I got so many compliments! Just make sure to get your size. lol

Comfortable and beautiful! I felt awesome in this dress. Normal size is an XL but I had to go with XXL and it was a bit snug but fit correctly. Also it was a little short on me being 5’ 11” but oh well I just went with it!

I wore this dress to our friend’s black tie wedding and it was perfection! Sooo many compliments! I ordered a medium and large after reading reviews. If you’re a true size 8 and okay with a tighter mermaid fit - get the medium. If you’re a true size 10 and/or have a bigger chest - get the large.

I’m a size 8 on top and 6 on bottom; the Medium size of this dress fit like a glove. This is a gorgeous dress with a flattering silhouette. It does lock you in a bit; movement is restricted, but I still found it comfortable.

I wore this dress for a black tie wedding and felt great! The dress is definitely form fitting with little give, so if you need/want breathing room, you may want to size up. I'm typically a size 8 and the MR fit me like a glove! No bra necessary.

I loved this dress and got a ton of compliments at a formal, destination wedding. The fit wasn’t completely ideal. I’m a bit pear shaped and had some extra room on top, but no one seemed to notice. (5’10”, 175 lbs, 12 pants, 34DD). I wore this with 2-3” heals and the dress hit just below my ankles. The straps are adjustable and I was able to wear a normal strapless bra. The embroidery on the bottom and boning details on the top are really special and lovely.

I received so many compliments on this dress. It fit perfectly and looked beautiful. The top doesn’t have a ton of give- so I went with the XL rather than the L to have more room (I’m a 36G).

Loved this one. Accessorized it for a non-traditional wedding and felt like a million bucks. Great if you’re tall too.

I absolutely loved it & received so many compliments at a wedding last weekend, even from the bride! A little tight in the bust (38E/F?), but nothing tragic. I wore comfortable shapewear underneath, but nothing super tight & it worked out well! I would totally love to wear again!

Wore this for a summer black tie wedding and it was a hit! I have pretty wide hips, and the medium fit well - was a little tight for dancing, but I got so many compliments that I didn't miss my full range of motion :)

This was one of four dresses I ordered and it was the one I chose to wear to a friend’s wedding. It was tight on me, but was a great shape. Though it was slightly uncomfortable, I appreciated that it had structure. I would recommend it for people with similar body types. As far as length, I am 5’7” and wore four inch heels. The dress was a few inches shorter than floor length on me, but I didn’t think it looked too awkward.

Overall really loved it! Mine came in an M and an L (when I was ordering I ordered an 8 and a 10) the M was perfect up on the chest but was super tight around my butt. The L was perfect around the butt but very big up on the chest. I went with the L because it was just more comfortable to move around in, I just made the straps tighter I don’t love when the straps go up a lot it kind of makes me look wider up top too when I barely have “girls” lol. But either way I got a lots of compliments and am super happy with this service! It was my first time renting with this app and I will for sure be renting again! :)

Very pretty dress with a corset top. Nice material. Has a zipper in the back with a clasp. Worn to a formal wedding. I’m between a size 6 and 8 but mainly wear 6. This is my second time renting a DressThePopulation dress and I really like the brand. I wore the SP. I also got the MR (second picture). The small and medium both fit well. I probably could’ve worn either. The MR was a little loose and came to the floor with my 3 inch heals so I went with the SP. The SP was a little snug but I like a more form-fitting look and I liked the length. If I got a MP it probably would’ve worked too. Probably get a petite size if you are 5’2’ or shorter (and depending on what shoes you wear).

Wore this as Mother of the Groom for their Italian garden wedding theme. I had on 3.5 inch heels and the length was perfect for me (I'm about 5' 3/4" tall). Snug up top (my bust measures 36.5) but not uncomfortable at all. I'm 62 and don't have the waist I once did (it's now about 29") . There is no way I would have fit into the small - sometimes I am in between sizes ( 6 on top/ 4 on bottom) The waist seam measuring just across the front looked smaller by a good 3/4" or so . Anyway it's a lovely dress and I would rent again :)

This was perfect for a black-tie, summer wedding. It is really high quality! The chest was a little wide and it’s definitely tight in the waist but the fabric is thick enough that it masked any fit issues.

This dress is as pretty as it looks in person and was perfect for my black tie preferred wedding. I got many compliments. A couple notes on the fit - I am about 5'9" and I definitely was glad I got the long size. I wore it with flats and it was the right length. The medium was a little snug for me, but the large was way too big in the bust so I had to squeeze in. It was very doable, but not the most comfortable. The material doesn't have much stretch to it.

I loved the look and feel of the dress and got tons of compliments all night HOWEVER the chest was huge. I ordered the MR as my size and the SR as backup and ended up wearing the MR. The SR fit a little tight but did not solve the chest issue. If the chest had been smaller I probably would have worn it. Besides being way too big for the boobs, the fabric also poked out where the nipples should be in an odd shape. The thin straps and low back made it impossible to wear a bra, even a strapless. If you could add some more padding, it might help.

I am 5'2, 114 lbs and wore the XS. I had to use extra padding in the bust because I could not fill it out. It was a little awkward, but the rest of the dress was so nice. The mermaid cut made it a little hard to take wide steps, but I could easily hike it up to dance. Beautiful gowns. lol

I have a large rib cage so the dress would not zip up all the way. Fit in the hips and waist but I have a 36-38 in rib cage with a 28 inch waist and narrow hips. If I would have gone up a size I think it would zip but be big in the front chest area and waist. Pretty floral design. More for a proportional body type.

I liked wearing it but found the fabric (mesh overlay) to be stiff. Straps were a little too long and fell down. It

My only problem was that this was a little tight in the chest, but im a 38 F so that’s to be expected. Other than that I felt AMAZING in this dress!

I wore it to a formal wedding and it felt perfect. Has a very nice and forgiving structure - since I have a bigger booty and smaller top, I had to wear a large padded bra and pin the sides of the top to fit correctly. Skirt is quite slim along the hips and legs and flares out around the knees so it slightly restricts your legs but only if you want to really have a long stride when dancing. I felt very sexy in it without it being too much. Definitely recommend!
