I LOVED the look of this dress, and so did the other wedding guests! I kept getting told how much it was unlike anything else that anyone was wearing. With the earrings and bag also coming from RTR, it all just worked. It’s a little snug in the booty, so I had to size up. Even then, it was difficult to gracefully sit down at times, but it was worth it and easier than expected to dance in.

This dress is gorgeous. It fit just right. It hugs your curves and the ruffle at the bottom adds some drama. For how fitted it is, it was fairly comfortable. The only problem is you cannot pull it up to use the restroom. You have to completely unzip and take it down. Other than that the dress was amazing and I got a ton of compliments.

This dress met my expectations! Loved the built in support for upper body, with the adjustable straps. Definitely felt confidently tucked in and cute! The fit around the hips (down to the knees) was a bit snug. Made it challenging to get in and out of a car, and challenging to lift up during a potty break… But the look was fabulous and I got many looks and compliments. Will definitely rent again.

Best for a small frame as I am slender and it was a tight fit. The small was too small but the medium, just right. Keep in mind you’ll need to take small steps in this dresses due to the tapered style.

Dress material and fit is fantastic.. I am a six and the dress was a little tight.. hard to sit down in.. I suggest sizing up if you are in between sizes..

This dress fit me just right meaning I could probably have sized up to be more comfortable, but still felt so good in this size! Hugs your body perfectly and long on me for my height but wore high heels (probably like 4 inches) and still an inch longer but managed. It’s such a beautiful dress, would love to wear again

Loved the adjustable straps and shaping bodice on top. A little give in the stomach was nice, I didn’t have to wear shapewear. The colors were vibrant and the black material is velvet and a nice touch. Received so many compliments. If I could live in this dress I would!

Loved this dress, looked & felt like a red carpet gown, but just a lil too tight and no stretch so I could barely sit or bend over. Top part was like a corset and nice adjustable straps so didn’t really need a bra.

Glad I went with the size down - fit fine in the chest - if I went with the large the sleeves were falling down. Didn't need a bra and I am normally 34 DDD. It was the teeniest bit long and I had 3" heels but I got a ton of compliments

This dress was GREAT. I have a couple of other Dress the Population dresses that I wear in size M, but based on other reviews, I sized up. This was fitted, and I didn't need a bra, and I got tons of compliments at a black tie wedding in NY in May. Five stars.

My boobs *just* fit in this dress, but surprisingly I still loved the dress and enjoyed wearing it. Got compliments, though I’m not 100% sure I could have actually danced in it or anything. Perfect length with moderate heels, too.

This dress was beautiful and comfortable. Was structured enough that the bust so I didn’t have to wear a bra. I wore this to a Gala/fundraiser. I also ordered the XL and it was tight on my ribs/bust so i went with the XXL

I went with a medium (one size up for me) based on other reviews and it worked great. I’m bigger chested, so the extra space was perfect & gave some breathing room to dance/avoid spanx! I could wear a skinny strap bra with it. Highly recommend!!

Rented this gown for a fundraising gala event. It runs small and has no stretch. I did order the large dress as a backup option, however, I was swimming in the large. I wore the medium. Navigating stairs was tough. Able to sit and dance without issues. Able to wear without bra due to boning, but if you choose, the thick straps will allow you to wear a regular bra. Will hug your curves, perfect if you are an hourglass-shaped gal.

I am 5'2, 145lbs and a very large bust. I haven't not worn a bra with something since I was in my early 20s which is 20 yrs ago. But i was shocked how not only did I not need a bra, every part of this dress hugged all the curves perfectly and I felt very secure. I got a ton of compliments on the dress. The only thing which isnt that terrible, and i had known from other reviews was that you have to unzip and take the entire dress down to go to the bathroom. I basically just made sure a friend was with me to finish zipping me back up after I went! Overall LOVED this dress!

I wore this dress to a charity gala and received compliments all night. It’s a beautiful dress. Very high quality. The black on this dress is a velvet material, which made it perfect for a winter event even though it is sleeveless. I usually wear a 10-12. I wore this in a L petite. It was very very fit. Could sit in it but if I were even an inch bigger, it would not have worked. I think an XL petite would have been better but the size wasn’t available. Length was perfect. Worn with 3 in heels. I’m 5’1”

Wore a small petite and lengthwise it was perfect with my 5'3'' height and 3 inch heels. Now, the top part was TIGHT. I'm a 34C. There's no way this would have fit if I was a 35 or more. But it fit. Hard to move and dance but doable! It was worth it though.

This dress is so fun and so flattering. Not having to wear a bra with it as someone who is pretty busty was nice. If I were to buy it I would want it to be a little longer, but it didn't seem crazy short with a small heel.

This dress is just beautiful, colours and fit! The fabric is great and looks so nice. I did not wear it in this occasion, but I will rent it again. Perfect for a wedding to formal event.

Lots of compliments to a fall wedding. Fit just right. Note not stretchy at the hips/knee so if you want to get down on the dance floor and have a wide stance at it doesn’t have the most give but I was still able to groove & dance my usual amount!

This dress fit perfectly!! I got a small and medium. I’m more broad in my shoulders and back so had to go with the medium. Did not wear a bra since the straps were great. Fits slightly snug down to the hips but still great for dancing. Got so many compliments at the wedding!

Did not expect much from this dress per the other reviews. It fit perfectly. The top has boning to provide support for the bust and cinches in the waist. Bodice is tight so important to get the right size.

I am a bit curvier, and this dress was SO flattering! The ruffle accent going down the side made me feel more comfortable than wearing a completely skin tight dress. Got so many compliments! It fit, but was a bit snug when seated, so may want to size up if you want it to be a more comfortable fit.

Gorgeous in person! Ok so I ordered a Med and Large. I have an hourglass shape and knew this dress would accentuate it perfectly. Plus you can wear a bra! You real do feel like it hugs your curves and makes you feel really great. Fit: The medium fit like a glove, no bra needed, but it was so snug that was worried I wouldn’t be able to comfortably sit down and enjoy the dinner. So I ended up wearing the Large, which gave me much more breathing room. I needed to wear a bra and I actually had to pin it on one side to cinch it in a bit. But that’s bc I’m always bigger on the bottom than the top, so I just wanted to make a bit tighter on top. It’s a really classy dress and I got so many compliments.

The dress is surprisingly light weight which was wonderful for a partially outside event. I’m 5”4” and was 12 weeks pregnant weight was 150. I only had to wear like 2 inch heals and the length was perfect. I will say my only struggle was going to the bathroom. Because of the mermaid/fit flare style I couldn’t lift the dress over my legs/hips so I had to take off the dress to use the restroom.

There were no reviews on this dress, so I was a little nervous selecting it, but it turned out great! It does have straps, despite the product description saying that it doesn’t. I got both the medium-regular and large-petite sizes. Even though the fabric has some stretch to it, medium (my normal size) was TIGHT - as in, I could barely bend over and put my shoes on. However, the large was way too big, especially in the bust. It would be nice if there were an intermediate size… But overall the medium looked much better on, so I went with it. I did not wear a bra and still felt very secure up top, and I did wear shapewear to keep everything smooth. Once I successfully had my shoes on, I was still able to dance and move around well, although the leg space was somewhat restrictive. Overall it was great, and I would rent it again! I wore it to a fall black tie wedding, and it was perfect for the occasion!

It’s difficult to see in the photos but the black in the dress is velvet-ish. Beautiful dress for a fall outdoor black tie wedding. I’m only 5’2 and standards heels were perfect. Built in cinch to the waist and good support for the top heavy girlies

Absolutely loved this dress! The bright colors and velvet features were beautiful, and the adjustable straps were appreciated. However, beware there as absolutely zero stretch in the dress. It felt great standing up, but definitely had limited motion/mobility when sitting/dancing. I probably would have sized up for the extra room but the next size wasn't available. Overall happy with the rental if only wearing for a short period of time.

This dress has a corset top and was very form fitting - not exactly the most comfortable. I defn was a size between small and medium but was able to squeeze into the small. The dress isn’t practical - had to ask people in the bathroom to zip me up (impossible to do yourself) But gosh it’s stunning and worth the trouble. I had a lot of people ask me where it was from and complimented the dress as well!

This dress is stunning but it was veryyyy tight around the hips and is very restricting around the legs. It was difficult to go up flights of stairs and felt like it was going to rip when I sat, but I made the sacrifice!! I would say size up for this dress

The perfect fall dress to wear to a wedding. Loved everything about it except pulling it up to go to the bathroom; it was almost impossible to pull back down. I started just unzipping the entire dress and pulling it down rather that attempting to hike it up. Dancing also wasn’t the easiest either. There is a fitted lining that goes down to your knees and is very constricting and really wasn’t necessary. But looking good is about about fashion. Not function.
