Definitely size up! I’m normally 6-8 and I wore the medium which is 8-10, so I was glad for the back up! Top fit well and wasn’t to low cut which I was nervous about, but felt comfortable! High slit just a warning! Felt great but a bit difficult to sit in. Overall just a beautiful dress!! Felt like a queen at the formal wedding I wore it too!

Wore this dress to a black tie wedding. Dress is gorgeous and comfortable. I have a small chest, so the bust area was a little big but I added cutlets to fill it out a little. I’m 5’1 so the length was just fine with heals. Would recommend.

I’m curvy, usually I wear a 12 or 14 but I read reviews from other curvy women and ordered the Xl and XXL. I ended up wearing the Xxl. The xl would not zip right at the rib cage. There is not a lot of difference between the dresses imo. I did wear push up foam bra liners to fill out the top. I was really happy with the look and got a lot of compliments. As others said this is a bold sexy look especially if you are curvy. I’m 5’2” and was worried about the length, but was pleasantly surprised. I wore a low heel and it was the perfect length. I was able to wear flats later and it was still reasonable to walk. I did want to not it would have been very tricky to hem it with tape as it’s a double layer at the bottom and not all the same length.

True to size. I typically wear size 6-8 and the medium was perfect. Held my curves in all the right places. Fabric has a little stretch so I was comfortable all night. Not itchy at all! Just perfect!!!!

I thought I might fit into the medium but large was perfect, I tend to have a larger rib cage so glad I had the large as a backup size. Wore this for our first fire fighter ball and was worried it would be too fancy but I felt like I just had to own it and I got so many compliments. Last time I felt this beautiful was at my wedding. Wore a 3” heel and it was perfect. Loved how snug I felt in it and my husband couldn’t keep his eyes off me!

Just the right amount of dressy, definitely gives a gala look. It ran a bit small on me, but I was able to fit into it. Not sure if it’s actually small or if it just feels that way because it’s my first time wearing this kind of dress.

I ended up taking a pair of black spandex, shorts and cutting the legs off the bottom and using it as a tube top because the V cut in the front of the dress was way too revealing

This fit like a glove and I got so many compliments! That said, it was super tight with no give, but the medium was too big. Really liked the boning. It was comfortable enough to sit in and I didn’t need to wear shapewear underneath. That said, I’m not sure it would’ve zipped up if I added any!

This dress is perfect for a fun yet formal event. I had to raise it a bit to sit comfortably but that didn’t take away from how well tailored the dress is.

I was initially skeptical about renting this dress because I was afraid that the top of the dress would be awkward since it's a deep v-cut that does not allow for a bra. However, it fit very well and everything stayed in place as I danced the night away at a creative black-tie gala. My only issue was that the dress was too long since I'm short.

Loved this dress! Like many other reviews, if you have more of a pear shape or larger lower half, its definitely gonna be snug. I am glad I got the medium as the small would not zip! The top is also good for small breasted ladies.

Wore this to a wedding in FL in February. It fit very well and was great quality fabric. The fabric was not too thick/hot. The dress had just enough give to stretch where needed around the hips but structurally held up on top. I have a small bust and did wear a strapless bra but you could get away with not wearing one. When first ordered the dress and extra size came early which was great bc there was damage at the top of the thigh slit on the size that fit me. I was able to get replacement dresses overnight and in time before I had to fly out. It does look like that dress gets damages in that specific area often bc the replacement dress looks like it had been repaired in the same spot (top of slit) as the original order. It's not noticeable due to the color and way the fabric lays so you'd really have to be looking. The swap was so easy and quick and the return of the dresses is convenient as well. Overall I really loved this dress and got loads of compliments all night. I would recommend RTR to anyone and will be using again for formal events.

I wanted to wear this so badly, but went with my other look because of the cleavage. I worked NYE and as a craps dealer I didn’t think there was enough tape in the world to keep my nips in lol. So I went with a much more modest dress. It fit great though, I’ve been losing weight and the xxl fit great, the length was perfect for flats.

I felt and looked amazing in this dress! The structure and support was perfect. The dress color was stunning and the slit was just right. Tons of compliments! Definitely a winner.

The bust was slightly too big, but going smaller would have made it uncomfortable to sit, so I'm happy with the size I went with. I got compliments all night and it was so comfortable.

I wore this for a Moulin Rouge themed gala and absolutely loved it! Fit like a glove, sexy, fun and glamorous.

The textures of velvet and subtle sequins, the perfect evening gown length, the snatched shape - this dress was a sexy option for any black tie event. I ordered the S and M, and though I usually wear a medium I opted for the small because it held the girls better. Personally, there were times I felt like it may have been a little TOO revealing with D's and might look classier on a smaller chest. But thats subjective! Overall was a win - lovely and special fall/holiday dress that definitely turns some heads !

This dress was great, and I’m glad I got the larger backup size. I wore a medium. You’ll need a decent heel if you’re around 5’7”. Also, depending on the state of your affairs, some creative boob taping will keep the deep cut flattering.
