I rented this for a luncheon where I received an award and law school graduation. The color is immaculate - so vividly deep purple with blue undertones. The fabric is lovely - internal silk with blended materials on the outside. Fit perfectly. I'm 5'4", 160 with a 28 inch waist. The draping back was beautiful and still appropriate for a professional event. I wore spanx and a strapless bra. I'd suggest spanx because the material is a little thin overall. The hemline is a bit narrow though; so be forewarned that you don't have full range of motion to walk. Wasn't bad at all though. The dress does stretch out a bit. Definitely would rent again, or perhaps buy.

I recieved SO many compliments, the day of the events and for days and weeks following the event! Everything about this dress was quality: the rich vibrant color, the tailoring, the threading, the lining, and how it draped. It was just a tad too big because I had unexpectedly lost muscle weight (anemia, not eating meat), but you really couldn't tell at all. The cut of the dress is designed to fit snug so size up if you do not want a snug fit. It is meant to fall off one shoulder so a strapless bra in necessary. I will be looking at other dresses from this designer in the future for sure!

Ended up wearing the larger size between my options of 40 & 42 , was more comfortable and gave me more room to dance! Received endless compliments and the color is lovely. Would recommend & rent again.

Very form fitting.

This elegant purple Dsquared2 dress is the perfect go to work dress for fall. The folded crew neck falls in a slight asymmetrical fashion while the back is open enough to remain office appropriate yet still bra friendly. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup if you're curvier and down if you're smaller framed. While the bodice is fitted, the slightly stretchy fabric makes for an easier fit. At 5'7" the dress hit at about knee length. Try pairing with a pointed heel and earrings.

Was looking for something different than the usual fit and flare. This dress was form fitting with a little stretch. Tight down the thighs so you can't go up stairs easily. It was impactful. The color is different, the back has a touch of drama and I received lots of compliments. It felt a little young for me but my husband liked it a lot.

The dress fits true to size but be careful if you are busty because the fabric doesn't stretch. The color is a bright purplish blue and I received many compliments. The draping neckline and open geometric back are elegant.

Great fit. love the unique neckline. The dress did droop a little off my shoulders and I kept having to pull it up.. but it was a great TV dress. Classic and feminine.

The tag of this dress constantly was hanging out of the back. It's a large tag so it's very noticeable. It wrinkled fairly easily. When I received the dress, the bottom of the bag was tied in a knot, wrinkling the entire bottom of the dress. The look of the dress is pretty, but it's awkward. It sits on your shoulders kind of funny. The length of the sleeves is between the wrist and elbow. The fit around the arms is very lose. The color is very pretty.

The color is rich and the quality is great! This dress is so well made, it is lined properly, a great dress for colder weather. the low back is very elegant and cool.

This is a beautiful dress. I loved the color and the style. I wish I had order the 46 or was ten pounds thinner but the dress had stretch and was comfortable. I will order it again if I need a stunning dinner dress.

This dress is AMAZING, BUT it runs really small. I'm normally between a 2-4, but should have gotten the 6. The 4 was just too tight to wear to a work event and the 6 was not available. I will try to rent this again when the larger size is available.

It came out of the bag looking wrinkled and cheap. NOT SO, once you put it on. The fabric has a little stretch and looked almost flawless on. I am a size 6 and ordered true to size except better since it was a very huggy material and cut. This is not for those who have issues with showing off your figure.

The fit, color, and silhoutte was super flattering. I felt like I could run for office, negotiate a fat raise, or tell ya the news while being eye catching. The back is very fetching.

The front is understated but extremely flattering, and the low back with the draping has a subtle wow factor. The dress was a little too form-fitting for a conservative work event, but it would be great for a winter cocktail / black tie event where you don't know how formally people will dress. I was extremely sad to return the dress.

This dress fits true to size with zero stretch. The open back is flattering but yet modest enough for work or dinner with the fam. I love this dress.

LOVELY dress. The color and cut make this a real stand out. It's perfect for a business elegant event... except that it's a little more form fitting than it appears in the photos. It doesn't have any stretch, and it's not really a sheath as shown. Rather, it's curve hugging in the extreme. Although the 8 (44) fit true to size, I decided it was a little too close for comfort for a professional event. I'm planning to rent again and size up for my next event with the hope that it will be more professional appropriate.

Fits perfectly. It is very conservative, but recommend wearing hair down if at office depending upon your audience. I swept my hair up for a work night out.

Fits so well. Can be worn as an off -the shoulder on one side .True to size. I am 5'7 " 156 lbs and the size 8 fit me perfectly . This was knee length for me. I was very pleased how easy it was to rent this dress.

i wore this for work meetings and it was perfect! i'm typically btwn a 2 and a 4 and went with a 2 because of reviews. i did find it to be a little long so it bunched a bit around my waist, but it didn't take away from the overall look. the neckline was great and the back had just enough sass. i wore a regular bra and it didn't show at all. i can absolutely see why people say it exposes lumps because the fabric is not forgiving, but size up if you're btwn sizes and you'll be fine. i wore it with nude shoes and kept everything else simple. you will not regret renting this dress!

I LOVED wearing this dress! It is incredibly figure flattering and body conscious. The color is a beautiful and striking shade of purple, and the design elements around the neck and back are fantastic. I will definitely be renting this dress again! The only issue (and it was minor), is that with no slit in the back, you do have to walk in very small steps, due to the small circumference of the hem. It certainly wasn't a huge problem, just something to know. I would definitely consider buying this dress and received TONS of compliments on it!

color, material, cut are all beautiful. def cut to be tight so you'll still want to size up. Also, even though it is full coverage---I wouldn't wear it to work or anything more conservative as it is designed to be a tight/ bodycon style.

The fabric doesn't have much give so I would suggest sizing up. The 38 fits me pretty snug. Very pretty dress. Fits very snug. Great color. I would probably rent again but would try one size up.

This dress could have looked beautiful...... I think! The fabric was not as dense or weighty as I would have hoped-for, quality-wise, but not poor either. The color was a bit brighter than I anticipated, but still very pretty. I REALLY wanted to love this dress!!! But, Unfortunately, it just DID NOT fit my shape well at all. I am a fuller-busted hourglass (while still maintaining an overall slimmer profile), and while I typically get "Tall"s due to my leg length, I have a relatively short torso. The front hip seamline and torso darts just didn't work for me, enough so that I wouldn't even wear this to work (and that's saying a lot for me!!) OVERALL -- Pretty dress, nice color; may not be best cut for curvier or short torso

The fit was true to size, though I would have preferred a little more in the length. However, that was a design choice and not a size issue. Would be perfect length on someone 5' 8"!!! Received many compliments.

This dress fit perfectly but unfortunately arrived with a sleeve hem undone and not repaired so I had to return it.

I loved the cut and drape and length (desire being 5'3") but it was very snug, which just didn't work with the sweater-ish knit.

The fabric is on the thin side and very unforgiving. Even with Spanx, it would have shown some lumps and bumps. It doesn't hold you or smooth anything out in any way. Pretty color. I picked true to size as I don't think it really runs small but it was a bit tighter around the hips than I usually expect a size 8 equivalent to be on me. Could be the Italian sizing, not sure.
