This dress is WOW. The material is so luxurious and the color is vibrant. I would definitely recommend wearing Spanx with this dress. The dress does have a high slit and it runs very long. I am 5'2" and wore 5" heels and the dress was hitting the floor. I really recommend this for a formal affair.

This was an alternate dress after my original rental failed to be returned on time by another customer, so RTR came thru big time and rushed this to me as a back up! I wore this to a black tie wedding in June in NYC. The overall look and design is glamorous and luxurious. The purple isn't obnoxious or tacky. It's a beautiful regal purple. The fabric is NOT forgiving so shape wear is a must, although the fabric is very stretchy and I had plenty of room for my 5 month baby bump. The fabric has a beautiful shine and it's light and airy even though it's long sleeved. One downside is that the fabric is 100% synthetic and it doesn't react well to any kind of liquids. I spilled a few drops of water on my lap and even though it dried you could still see the impression for the rest of the evening - making is perfect for a formal affair where you'll likely to stay clean. I recommend this dress for women with curves. The model does not do it justice. You really need curves to "fill" this dress out properly. Even with my bump, I was a size 8/10 (153lbs) and I wore the LR. I'm 5'2 and the length was perfect, but my bump helped raise it off the floor some. I also wore 4inch heels. I received a ton of compliments, even from the bride! I loved this dress and it definitely made me feel as beautiful outside as I feel inside.
