Had to get the type of bra that goes on the side of your boobs!

I ended up wearing my other rental but this was a great dress. I was hesitant to pick this because the pictures didn't look that great and I was worried about the sizing. I'm usually a 4 or a 6 in dresses but I have a large bust as well so I rented the 6 and the 8. The 6 fit perfectly! Very well structured and the bodice fit perfectly to my body. Will definitely keep this as an option in the future.

The material is thick and the dress is structured well so there are no lumps or anything unflattering. The slit is REALLY high, but it's made so you can do pretty much anything and it won't be inappropriate. That being said, every time I got out of a car I flashed someone. But that only happened a couple times prior to and after the wedding so whatever. The dress is supposed to come with pads that I think would have helped me fit in the dress better, but they apparently don't have them anymore. Not sure if it's related but the top fit really poorly and every time anyone looked down toward me they could see all the way down my dress. We got some tape and it was fine. I sat down after dancing nonstop and someone leaned over and said "my daughter and I have been watching everyone here and you're definitely the best dressed" which is impressive considering it was a really fancy event. Overall beautiful dress and great if you're trying to add some edge to a black tie event.

This dress was perfect for a black tie event. It was sexy but sophisticated! If you like to show a little leg this is your dress!

I wear either a 6 or 8, the 8L ended up fitting perfect, my hips are what I was worried about..(long was perfect length w/ 4inch heels) I am a B cup and I felt like my nipples were popping out, they weren't but they were close! The tape didn't help either, but maybe if I had actual hollywood tape instead of double sided tape from the hardware store..

This dress looks so much better in person that in pictures. The bodice of this dresses is very flattering and accentuates a small waist. I wasn't able to wear a bra with this dress because it comes down very low - it's supposed to come with pads in bra area but it didn't, so I improvised with some pads from an old push-up swimsuit. The slit also comes up very high and is right in the center so I was a little worried about flashing people when I sat down. It's easily remedied by using a safety pin and a strategically places napkin or clutch when sitting.

The dress I ordered was a Long size 8. I fit really well. It was a good length with 3" heels. I Loved the pink inside which mainly showed in photos with an open stance. Other than that, the dress is pretty much black. The waist is so slimming. My only issue with the dress is the chest area. The Fashion tape would not stick to the fabric and my girls were out all night, that area didn't fit quite like the model shows but I have broad shoulders.

This was actually my 3rd choice dress, but the 1st choice (that came in 2 sizes) came without belts and overall just wasn't flattering. The original 2nd choice dress was damaged before my rental - have to say I received the BEST customer service. They let me pick out any dress as my new backup regardless of price. I normally would rent a 44R since I am only 5'5, but 44L was all they had. Was a little long, but with 4 in heels you can pull it off! The 44 fit like a glove even though I normally wear a size 2/4. Showed a bit more cleavage than I would have liked, but overall it was a hit. Great RTR experience!

This was the perfect prom dress for me. It was really comfortable and durable-a lot of people stepped on it but it stayed in perfect shape. Because of the folds in the fabric, it hung a little funny around my waist but they also disguised that so it wasn't noticeable. The slit made dancing a lot easier and called a lot of attention. The fit in the bust was odd both with and without the extra padding but it wasn't ever a problem. This dress was exactly what I wanted so I was thrilled that I got to wear it!

I was in love with my other rental this one was very tight in the bust. Could not pull it off.

This was a knockout dress but I should have taken the reviews about it not being for girls with a large bust, more seriously! When I sat the slit was sky high, but my legs were under the table so that was fine. If the top was a tad bit larger I would have felt more comfortable, I was terrified I was going to have a serious nip slip lol it was super fitted in the waist, which really emphasized my curves in all the right places :) All in all I'm glad I went with this dress, I wouldn't rent it again tho - no fun worrying about the ladies all night!

This was my second size. i normally am a full size 4 but the 42 did not fit. The 44 fit nicely and it is flattering; however, it is way to revealing. I felt that I had way too much cleavage for my event and was uncomfortable the entire evening because of it. Also, the slit is extremely high and it is completely impossible to sit down without flashing people. I had to leave my napkin on my lap the entire time I was seated.

The dress got compliments all night. However, I was self conscious in it because the lining in the chest is hot pink and it kept coming out. Also, the slit in the front wasn't practical- when I say down it was literally above my crotch. I had to use a dinner napkin if I wanted to sit and I couldn't bend over. I wore it in a long (which normally I need but this dress was too long) so length wouldn't help the slit in the front

This dress is AMAZING. It fit exactly as it should! Initially, I was worried about renting a dress I couldn't try on, because my boobs didn't get the message that they were supposed to continue growing after 7th grade, but honestly, this dress might be the best thing I've ever worn. With the help of a fantastic push-up bra, this dress turned my pumpkins to Cinderella's carriage. (Seriously, the best they've ever looked.) I was concerned about the length too, since I'm only 5'2", but I wore 5in heels and they were perfect. However, had I wanted to wear a smaller heel, I don't think it would've worked. The only thing to keep in mind about this dress is that the slit is VERY high, especially when walking. The dress is by no means unwearable because of it, but it does make sitting a little...odd, and you do have to keep it in mind when moving around. Overall though, this might be my favorite thing I've ever worn...ever. So, you know, nbd.

This dress is amazing!! I wore it for a black tie wedding and was told by several people that it was the dress of the night. I tend to be a 4-6 in dresses depending on the cut; due to the fitted waist I chose a 6 and it fit like a glove. The slit is extremely high—all the way to the waist—but thankfully came safety-pinned at a more appropriate length. The regular length was perfect for my 5'7" height with 4" heels. Unlike strapless dresses that you have to adjust all night, this was perfect for both the elegance of the ceremony and the fun dancing at the reception—just throw it on and go. I've never received so many compliments on a dress before—I may have to get this one again!

Good fit in the body, especially around the stomach. The flash of pink on the inside was a beautiful detail, however it carried over to the lining of the chest, which was unfortunate, but not devastating. The overall fit was loose enough that I could breathe but tight enough to keep everything in place. The slit came up VERY high though, and the straps were so long that my boobs were hanging out, but with a few minor stitches, the problem was fixed. I loved the dress. I felt like a princess, which gave me enough courage to strut into prom with my girlfriend on my arm--we are the first gay couple in the 78 year history of my school.

The dress runs true to size. Only issue I really had was in the chest area. I'm a 36D and need to use a lot of fashion tape to hold myself in all night.

It fit like a glove.

Perfect dress for any black-tie occassion

Fit was perfect... I def recommend it for petite girls. I am 110pounds, very skinny, and this dress made me feel classy and sexy. I felt like a superstar. Pros: fits like a glove, perfect cleavage and fabric is amazing. The pink detail on the inside makes this dress look adorable. Cons: None Loved it!!!!

Great dress, and I looked awesome! Shoulders were a little tight, and had to put pins in the chest, as well as take out padding (disclaimer: if you have a larger chest this dress is a little revealing(36dd)). otherwise great fit and great product . Though I did have to keep something over my legs when I sat down.

This fit far too small unfortunately--it fit in the waist and hips but not over my ribs. I'm a 32D so part of being unable to zip it may have been my boobs, but it felt like it was my entire ribcage which is relatively small. Still, it is a beautiful dress. The slit was superhigh but I would've been good with that. It was supersexy!

Not for the faint of heart. I wear size 4 in most dresses, but this dress was particularly snug around the rib cage/bust. However, it wasn't uncomfortable to the point where I couldn't breathe or had to return it for a size up. Just be wary. Other reviewers are correct in saying it is extremely low cut in the front and the leg slit is also really high. However, I still think this is a showstopper for the correct occasion (where you feel comfortable showing extra skin). The high slit can easily be fixed with a safety to secure a closure further down the leg. The low cut front would work best for someone with an A, B, or small C bust.

I tried on the 6 in showroom. Too small. ordered my normal size 8 and a 10. 8 was too tight in ribcage but the 10 was HUGE on top. Straps very long. Big difference bw 8 and 10.. didnt make sense ---disproportionate, I picked up in showroom NYC 2 hours before a black tie wedding. The stylist kept me calm and said...dont worry we will find you a dress. And she did. saved the day. Love rent the runway but this dress should be tried on in the correct size before your event. ...The dress is gorgeous and very well made.

Loved the flash of pink in the lining and the construction was pristine. Beautiful silk-blend fabric draped gracefully. But it was a bit revealing in both the cleavage (even with the pads removed) and the slit. It could use a stitch or two in the front slit to prevent wardrobe malfunction... I used a strategically placed napkin or purse for the slit and a wrap for the cleavage. A bit of a hassle to mind my posture all night, but I chose this gown to feel glamorous not to be comfortable.

fabric is gorgeous and the dress itself is structured and very flattering BUT unless you're looking for a very cleavage-y dress (or unless you are small-chested), this isn't for you! even after I took the built-in optional padding out of the dress, I was VERY exposed. also the slit is extremely high, so you might have to tape it. I didn't end up wearing this dress sadly but would recommend it for below-C cups, or very courageous women!

This is the only dress I have ever rented that I wasn't crazy about. Since my original dress was not available, I received this as a back up. I liked the dress except when it was on! It bunched awkwardly around the zipper near my bum so it was not very sexy. The front was very beautiful however. The bit of pink was also a nice addition to the typical black dress.

This dress hugs you in exactly all the right places, and makes the girls look fantastic. I wore this to a black tie wedding, and while I was in black in a sea of black, the pink on the inside of the dress made a statement. I wore bright pink fake Valentinos and bright pink drop earrings, and it was the perfect pop of color. I highly recommend this dress!!

I rented this dress for a formal affair. Although it was breath taking I could not wear it due to cleavage. For any other type of party I would wear it in a heartbeat.

You don't need the recommended long length if you are on the height cusp...I wore 4.5 inch heels and was still tripping a bit. Great bust support on this dress, and clearly well made. I was a definite size 4 when I wore it, but went with the size 6 (a 44).

Fit perfect on me. I have a very hour glass figure and am 5'8" with 32C's and a size 27/4 in jeans. If you feel comfortable not wearing a bra and are clever with tape for support then I would go for this dress for sure. the only Con is that I could imagine the slit having a mind of its own when sitting down, but also another thing that can be fixed with fashion tape is need be. The only reason I choose not to wear it was because I felt it was too spring/summer style dress to be worn in February. Other than that its beautiful, sexy, and classic with flare in person and for sure to turn heads at any event.

This was a great dress for a formal gala! The pink underlay is beautiful. It does show a lot of cleavage (I'm a 34B) and the slit in the front is very high, as other reviews have pointed out. However, it is very flattering and I got a lot of compliments all night. I did feel the fabric was a little worn, and the bottom of the dress was frayed and I had to trim the strings and that's the only reason I gave this one four instead of five stars.

This was my back up dress - while it was beautiful and the material was flattering on my body type, it was really roomy in the waist so the back bunched up. I read all the reviews prior to choosing this dress and many people said to order a size up, so that's what I did. However, since I usually wear a 2 or 4, I should've chosen a smaller size.

Couldn't zip this dress all the way because of my larger bust and had to wear something else. Material felt cheaper than expected and the dress is very light weight.

The bust fit is horrible. I don't mind showing cleavage but this dress was showing more then cleavage! I even tried two way tape. I didn't even wear it - returned it. Looks cute on the picture but girls with bigger boobs shouldn't even try.
