The fit is snug but not outrageously so - some reviews made me consider getting a small but I'm glad I went with XS. It's figure flattering but not too tight. It's plenty long enough for work (even if you have long legs). Nice professional look. I wouldn't buy though because of the construction - it's hard to get lines to match up at the seams with a pattern like plaid. For reference, I'm 5'6" bra size 34C and 115 lbs.

Definitely a tighter fit. I typically wear a 10/12 and this dress ran small but gives great shape. I wore a button up underneath so it would be more formal for work. Overall comfy and good for work

I am obsessed with tartan print, and this dress does not disappoint! Great fall colors, good length for work, and super comfortable. I ended up having to size up to accommodate my chest, but it fit like a dream everywhere else.

Great dress for work! I usually wear a 2-4 and a size small, and I went with a medium on this, and I am so happy I did! I recommend sizing up! Especially because I wore this to work and didn't want it to be too tight.

Comfortable, forgiving, but professional

Wore this dress for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Great piece to transition from fall to winter. It was made with nice thick material that kept me warm and I paired it with black tights and booties. Fit true to size - maybe even a little small, which was fine for my petite frame. I'm 5'3" and the length was perfect.

I'm normally an 8 in dresses but the Large fit nicely. Festive for the holidays but nothing super exciting.

Loved the textile pattern and cozy texture & large was just right for me (usually size 8) ... Would not normally do above the knee for work but felt like with the winter tights and boots I could get away with it. Solid rental.

This dress is so cute, and in the end I was pretty happy with it. HOWEVER it has major fit/sizing issues. I am usually a size 4 and almost always wear a small. The midsection of the size small barely even fit over my body. What's more, the midsection was ridiculously small, but the back and arms were TTS, possibly even on the bigger size. This lead to my main problem when I sized up to the medium. The body of the medium fit great, but the back and arms were huge. It made it so I couldn't wear a jacket or cardigan that had very fitted sleeves. It still looked good enough that I wore it though. And I did receive many compliments.

I really enjoyed having this dress for the month of November, especially while plaids had their comeback! It was a great piece for work and was perfect for the dressier business casual receptions. The colors of the plaid made it so easier to mix and match shoes, blazers, cardigans, and jewelry. It was also great with or without tights. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that it ran pretty small. I normally wear a medium/size 6, but this one stayed pretty tight even after wearing it all day. Luckily, a blazer helped to hide all of my curves since my office is a tad conservative.

Fit right at the knee (I'm 5' 4") which was perfect and overall nice snug but not tight fit.

I usually don't go plaid, but I ended up wearing this dress twice. Once for a day out shoe shopping, paired with a leather jacket, tights, and heels (felt very gossip girl)...and another time for Friday night synagogue. It's appropriate for both and very flattering.

This dress is totally on trend and fit me like a glove. It's well made with thick fabric. It does run a bit small, so size up if you are between sizes or don't like your dresses very form fitting. I would buy it if it wasn't so expensive!

Loved the dress and will rent it again. Cute and comfortable, perfect work dress. Paired it with burgundy boots and felt fab. I'm usually an M, though, and this definitely runs small - I am glad I ordered L and it was just right.

Ordered a size up based on reviews. Was a little baggy around the waist and hips buy couldn't have gone any smaller in the shoulders/arms/chest. While the fit wasn't spot on it was close enough and the dress was very comfortable. The pattern is very cute. Material is a bit thick so good for spring/fall, but would probably be hot in summer.

This dress was so cute I couldn't wait to wear it but when I got it on it was too small. I ordered the extra small and wish I would've ordered the small. I couldn't wear it given how tight it was to work, so that was a bit of a bummer.

Good for business casual work environments.

There's something about the seam across the front that's a little odd. I wanted to put a black skinny belt around my waist to pull it all together and give it a little more visual interest, but the seam is very high --- like an empire waistline --- so it didn't work. There's also a sort of bubbly quality to the fabric, so it wasn't quite as fitted as I had wanted it to be in certain areas.

I sized up after reading reviews but kinda wish I hadn't. The dress fit well across the bust and hips/ butt, but it was really baggy in the waist which made it really unflattering.

This is a beautiful dress, but it runs small. I could've made it work with Spanx, but opted to not wear it and send it back. It would look great with boots and a blazer.

I liked this dress a lot, and wore it twice, but was very self-conscious about how it badly fit in the midsection. There's too much fabric in the waist while being very tight at the bottom, so as you walk the waist starts to bunch up and it's not very flattering at all. However, when adjusted to fit properly, it looks great!

Thought the fit was okay. A bit tight in the chest and the waste was a bit weird (somewhat empire; was lose on my tummy but tight around rib cage). Cute dress.
