The earrings are beautiful and provide the perfect mix of edgy/cool with pure sophistication. I wore them to a black-tie affair with a sexy, satin black dress and a gold purse and I received tons of compliments! The earrings weren't heavy at all. I highly recommend them! I would wear them all of the time...even to dress up a pair of chic jeans.

I wore these earrings with the DVF Sexy Back Dress for an October black tie wedding in Santa Barbara, CA. The earrings were the perfect size and looked great with my hair pulled up, but would have looked equally as nice had I wore my hair down. The backs of the earrings are not as secure, so I used some other earring backings so they wouldn't fall out since they're a little heavy (but not too heavy). I didn't have any issues with them all night...love them!

These were fun, sparkly and impressive in person. They're a little heavy, and I didn't make it through a whole work day in them. However, I definitely recommend them for women looking for sparkle, especially those with dark hair.

Be sure to get different backings for these... something big and metal, otherwise they won't stay. With proper backings, they stayed on all night and looked great!

I wore these earrings with a black Herve Leger gown. They looked great! Like the other reviews they were extremely heavy. I switched the backs out with a pair of my own to secure them.

I rented these along with a sequined, backless dress for my law school's Spring Fling. I was worried that they would be too heavy given the size and material, but they were great! I was able to wear them all night without being uncomfortable.

This came as mystery bling with my yellow In the Limelight Dress from Mark & James by Badgley Mischka. The earrings really anchored the strapless dress and played off the gold sequins very nicely. A gentleman at the lounge I was at complimented me on the earrings and told me I looked very intimidating because I was sitting at the bar like I owned it. I certainly felt that way in the outfit.

Wore these earrings with a bright red dress and was very happy with them. They were larger than what I normally wear and why I chose them. A bit heavy but not too bad that you feel your earlobes are getting pulled down.

I ended up wearing the other pair of earrings I rented because they were more comfortable, but these are beautiful. They did only arrive with one "back," but I knew from wearing the silver version that I'd have to use stronger backs anyway.

Loved the earrings- rather larger and sparkly, but exactly what I wanted for our winter formal. Paired them with a red halston heritage knee-length dress, and might have been on the verge of almost too much (red dress + big sparkle = almost not elegant), but ended up being perfect. Slightly heavy, but ok with backs I owned (the ones provided were quite loose).

Wore these with the Tibi metallic jacquard dress. They complemented the metallic gold in the dress well. They were kind of heavy, so I couldn't have worn them for more than a few hours.

I don't normally wear big earrings so was worried these would be way too heavy...they definitely weren't light, but they were very easy to wear. They were much more sparkly/dressy than I think I was fully expecting, so I would only rent them again for a really nice dressy event (but I'd definitely rent again!)

These earrings might work for some occasions but for me they were just too heavy and uncomfortable to wear to dinner. They are quite large and the gold tone of the metal is very shiny so it didn't work with the more casual dinner dress I was wearing. Not my style but might work for some.

These earrings are gorgeous, but they are rather large, and a little heavy. For the outfit I wore, and with my hair, they came off a little more "Dallas" than the edgy chic I was going for. I ended up going with some smaller earrings instead.

These earrings were really pretty and eye-catching in person - however, when I put them on my ears, they hung a little funkily (as in they didn't really hang naturally off my ear lobe, but seemed to jut out at a weird angle) so I chose not to wear them with my dress. They are def a statement earring and will grab attention.

Very cool and fun earrings, but they were extremely heavy, and the backings that came with the earrings were not strong enough to hold the earrings in place. My right earring fell out 3 times throughout the night, and left my ear lobe red, swollen, and bordering on infected-feeling, so I had to give up on these halfway through the evening. In theory, though, they're fantastic.

I ordered these earrings for a white tie event. My dress was very conservative, so I wanted an earring that would make a statement and amp up the coolness factor. I felt very pageant-like in these earrings. They were much glitzier than the photo and the chain detail (that makes it cool), was not very noticable. They were fairly large too. Unless you like the pageant look or are entering a pageant, I would try something else.
