I loved everything about this dress - color, fabric, fit, length. If I didn't wear it for interviews, I would have purchased it. One of my absolute favorites!

Wore this dress on a trip to the Capitol. I looked very Claire Underwood in it. The black triangles on the sides make your waist look super tiny. Wore this dress all day and was comfortable all day in it.

I loved this dress! The length was perfect for me (I am 6ft tall) and the color was beautiful. I loved the pop of black in the sides. I was a little disappointed with the fabric thickness, I just expected it to be thicker but still if great quality.

I love the fit of this dress - thick, stretchy material, and hugs in all the right places. Contemplating purchasing! I'm close to 5'10 and it almost hits my knees, so the length is perfect for tall women. I'm normally an 8 or 10, and the size 8 had plenty of room.

This dress has a very flattering cut. The black on the side is also slimming. The dress is a great work staple, not super fancy but just a nice solid dress. The purple color is more toward a bright plum and really pops.

I had an important awareness day at work where the theme was purple and I was presenting in front of 200 people. this dress was perfect. I wore it in May in Boston on a 60 degree day and it was a bit warm as the fabric is on the heavier side so this dress may be best suited for colder months. I did wear spanks under it to suck in my postpartum belly. loved the way it hugged my curves and I did get lots of compliments. Definitely perfectly suited for work. It was a bit on the longer side having the hem land beneath my knee but overall 4 stars for a beautiful rich jewel tone and being very flattering for a curvy girl! I did not feel at all like Barney even though it was that shade of purple. The black accents on the side really accentuate curves!

Wore a size 12 but probably needed a 10. It was a bit baggy in the stomach which I think in photos made me look bigger. It was also a little long as it hit about an inch below my knee. I would potentially wear again if the 10 fit me a little better. Still worked well for a purple themed event.

I wasn't able to wear it, way too loose in the midsection even considering it is shark week for me. Size down for sure!

Rented this to add to my work wardrobe. Quality was fantastic, great structure, and still comfortable. I found the bottom half to run a little large. The chest fit well (I'm a 34B) but the bottom was oversized for me.

The sides of the dress have the black material sewn in, which look like they'll add to the look of a sinched in waist, but they don't sit well. They cause the dress to poke out at the sides.

I so wish this dress fit (and I'm waiting for my true size to be available to rent again)! Sadly it was just big all over and at my height I also felt like it was a bit too long.

This brand always fits me well. This is a great work dress. Runs true to size but if you're inbetween sizes, go down.

I'm usually a 12 and I tried a 14 bc 12 was not available. It was too big. And I still wore it, beautiful color and still got a ton of compliments.

Love the dress but should've sized down at least one size probably two. So At a minimum I would go one size down ladies!

Some seemed to comment that it was large in the waist. I prefer some breathing room in by clothing, so it fit great. I wouldn't say is was necessarily large in the waist though.

The color of this dress amazing, it is perfection! It does fit large overall, I wish I hadn't sized up. I'm normally between a 14/16. Rented the 16 and it was too large everywhere except the bust.

I loved this dress so much, I just bought it. I've been looking for a purple dress for a while, and this is just so perfect. The black detail on the sides is so slimming, and otherwise the dress is a simple sheath design. I usually wear a 2 or a 4, and the 4 fits perfectly.

I am top heavy with a small pooch. This dress was extremely figure flattering. Everyone in the office commented on it. I did pair it with a cropped black cardigan because of the office a/c. I live in Naples, FL. I may just have to purchase this. The designer makes very figure flattering dresses.
