Inspired by a friend who swears that wearing leather jackets has made people take her more seriously at work, I decided to borrow this one. It's definitely closer to brown than red --- and I'm a red person, so I wasn't sure I'd be happy with the color. But I loved it, and I wore it far more than any other RTR item I've rented -- just about every other day for a month. It fits nicely (if snugly -- I was surprised that the XL was only JUST large enough) and has these very cool zippered pockets that zip all the way up to the chest, kind of like decorative darts. The jacket feels heavy but not oppressively so -- just substantial and good quality. Love, love, love it.

No cons all pros. The metal zippers are a nice touch and must not contain nickel because the metal touching skin hasn't broken me out. It's super warm and cozy plus has pockets that zip down which is kinda cool and different. Seriously wish I could keep this jacket and had $600...it's absolutely gorgeous.

The color of this jacket is just gorgeous!!! I thought from the pictures on RTR it was Maroon-Red in color, but it is definitely more of a Maroon-Plum. I was EXTREMELY comfortable in a size Small, even with a sweatshirt under it. The leather is cozy and warm, perfect for Winter. I highly recommend this jacket!!!!!! LOVED IT!!!!!

I wore it over a casual summer dress to a graduation. The color is closer to brown than red, but the jacket is well made and soft. I live in South Florida, otherwise I would have bought it. It was a little tight because I'm busty, but worked nevertheless.

Medium was just right for me, cuffs hit right at the wrist.

Loved the color, look and fit. Received tons of compliments on the color. I would have bought this if my rental weren't so worn. Missing zipper pull, pulled thread, worn leather at cuffs/wrists, darkened areas of the jacket and silver finish worn off of zippers . Interestingly, it looked like I'd owned the coat forever and it wasn't a rental--so it was fine. Even at a reduced purchase price of $275 I can't justify this particular coat, maybe another one.

Loved this, wore several times. Soft leather, cute cropped fit. But when I zipped it up, the top was so tight that it pulled across my (very small!) bust. And my shoulders are fairly narrow. Loved how it looked unzipped, so not a big deal to me, but certainly order up 1 if not 2 sizes if you want to zip it.

I really liked this jacket. I did have some trouble zipping it all the way up because it was tight in the chest but I still wore it a lot.

Size up. I'm usually a small and a large fit perfectly

I am an athletic built female so it is hard to find things that fit. The fit was perfect and true to size - it also wasn't a thick leather so it wasn't too hot which is perfect for layering.

Exactly like it looks in the photo. Be warned, it's "true to size" in the sense that it's the exact proportions of my body (a little small in the boobs but nothing unmanageable); so no layering. Will definitely re-order this, but maybe one size up so I can wear a sweater with it. Looks BEAUTIFUL though!

I loved this jacket! The fit was perfect around my torso (leather type jackets tend to be boxy around my waist), but this one was snug without being too tight or uncomfortable. The zippers gave it a cool look and the color was a nice burgundy/ red color.

Wasn't delivered in time for the event, however wore it for brunch with jeans and it was fantastic.

Fit small

Everybody loved this jacket. It fit so well - light enough to wear all day but still kept me warm (and not bulky with a sweater underneath).

The leather is supple, zippers are well-placed without being difficult to reach or catching/snagging on things, and this leather jacket is wonderfully eye-catching and beautiful! It looks great as a fitted item but I'd imagine it could do well slightly oversized as well. It was comfortable in both a California winter (60s) as well as when I took it out of town to Dallas (mid-40s), where the large pockets came in handy at the airport and just wandering around town. I've rented it twice and definitely plan on renting it again. This is a great item and a fantastic value. The large size was more fitted, but XL was more comfortable overall for me if I wanted to layer and have more room to move.

This is a fun, stylish jacket with so much potential! I wore it to a fancy date night AND to a local pizza place. It's a little worn, but because the leather is nice, it just looks well worn vs. used. It does run small. I'm a pretty true size medium and the large worked perfect!

This was a great rental - I wore it several times over a very cold weekend. The jacket was a little snug and I was not able to zipper over my chest - however, it was still very wearable.

Wore this to work and felt very stylish. The color is gorgeous. I rented the gray in this jacket as well.

Fit great and looked cool. Hit at hip length on me. Ends of the sleeves are a little worn.

Couldn't close the jacket which would have been okay but it was so small, I looked like I was wearing a child's jacket. It's really nice, though!

I ordered this in a large. I am a size 10 with a large bust, but the jacket would barely even squeeze onto my shoulders. My size 6 daughter tried it on and it was a snug fit on her. Definitely size up!

Leather is soft, but not quite as bright as most of the images. Like a nice, worn jacket you[‘ve had for years. Could zip comfortably with a light tee underneath, but not much more. Sleeves were way too long, but I probably couldn’t wear much under a M and still zip it up.

Much too small for me. But my 13 year old daughter wore it well!!

To snug around arms tom wear anything other than a tank. To tight to fully zip over chest. Looked okay left open with jeans but overall just not very warm or comfortable. Bummer

I give up on finding the right size. I would normally order a small in the real world but read the reviews and ordered a medium. NOPE. Arm pits were tight and NO WAY could i zip it. Seriously, i am 45 years old and have never had this many sizing issues. XXL for the rest of my orders:/
