I wore this dress to a coronation event. Received TONS of compliments!!! The dress is silver more than white, but a lihgt silver at that. The fabric has some stretch so was very comfortable to wear and move it. Might someday rent this one again!!

Rented this for a black tie event, and I would definitely rent this dress again. I ended up going with the smaller of the two sizes. I'm 5' 8" and needed the long in order to wear high heels. This dress was so comfortable too.

I rented this for a sorority formal and loved it! It's form fitting and very comfortable! It runs pretty true to size, and the length wasn't too long or uncomfortable. Great rent!

This was an awesome dress. I am usually a size 4 but this fit pretty well since it was stretchy. It was a little long with short heels and I am about 5'5". Looked amazing on and I was very happy with it and I got tons of compliments.

This was the first dress I ordered from RTR. I wore this gown to a Marine Corps Birthday Ball with my best friend, her husband, and the Marine that took me to the ball... a young man that I met the day of the ball... that's right, my date was basically a stranger. FIrst of all, I had to fly across the country to get there, so being able to just ship the dress to my best friend's apartment, rather than packing it, was incredible. Second, having two sizes to choose from was spectacular. I ordered a 4 and a 2, thinking I would have to wear the 4, but fitting into the 2 perfectly. Clearly, I was definitely thankful for the two size option! I received multiple compliments on the dress throughout the night. It was very flattering for my body type, and the color was great for my skin tone. My overall experience with the dress and with RTR was exceptional. I'm already looking at another dress for the next Ball, one that my boyfriend loves. Oh, and if you're wondering, yes.. my boyfriend of 5 months now is the man who took me to the ball on the first day we met. See, we sort of fell in love =) Thanks RTR. Maybe the dress had something to do with it ;)

Loved this dress! Though I didn't have a date this dress made the night fantastic. I might rent it again I loved it so much.

I rented this dress for the Symphony's Black and White Ball. As soon as I put the dress on, I fell in love with it and my second choice dress had no hope. I usually wear a 12 in dresses because of my bust size, but this gown was a little loose on top and the strap was a bit long. I should have worn a 10, but one wasn't available for my rental date. I was able to make it work with double stick tape to keep the top in place and a safety pin to shorten the strap. The fabric is very stretchy, comfortable, and hugged my curves just right. And like other reviews mentioned, the dress is much more silvery and sparkly than in the photo, which makes it that much more fabulous. I'm 5'4" and with 4 inch heels the dress was exactly floor length on me. Thanks RTR for a wonderful first rental experience, I look forward to renting many more dresses!

This dress is fabulous! I wore it for a New Year’s Eve ball. As other viewers have said, it is more silver in person but photographs white. It was a little big in the top for me, but very comfortable. It definitely stood out amongst the sea of black at my event

This dress fit really well and was super comfortable. The fabric is thick and more silver than white. It's a really unique gown and I got a ton of compliments, including one from Colbie Caillat, who said she loved my dress!! :)

I loved this gown. It was a perfect fit and very flattering for my figure. I wore it to an Army formal and I got a number of compliments and it really stood out from the typical dresses worn to those types of occasions. I felt like I stood out in a good way and the dress made me feel pretty glamorous! The color is a bit shiny. When you first look at it, it seems pretty silvery but like another reviewer wrote--it photographs just like the photo on the website.

Fit fantastically! Was not long enough to wear heels with, but a long version was not available, so I knew going in I would probably need to wear flats with it. Additionally, the hem shows the wear of this gown - the bottom 6 inches are bit grey in comparison to the rest of the gown.

I did like this dress a lot, but it's made for VERY tall women! I am 5' 3" and ordered the regular...usually, I can work that with tall heels. Even with 4-inch heels, this dress was just too long. At my height, you'll have to safety pin it or use fashion tape for at least five inches.

I wore this as a second dress at my wedding and everyone loved it. It fit perfect, it was sexy and classy. The photo does not do the dress justice, it is more silver than white but it looks beautiful in pictures.

loved this dress! i rented it 6 days before my prom and all that was left was the size 4 i was nervous about the size because i normally wear a six but the 4 fit great... if your debating size go for the smaller one. the color is defiantly more metallic in person but i thought it was great!

(Note: I'm a coke bottle shape.) I rented this for prom and WOW I was impressed. It fits perfectly around a curvy body, and covers your bust enough to keep it classy looking. :) haha. As the others have said it is silver very very silver don't let this picture fool you, YOU ARE RENTING A SILVER DRESS, not a white one!! :) My only complaint is the strap was a little loose. The fabric in my opinion is not as thick as the other renter mentioned, and it's very comfortable. I adored it, I'd suggest it for any curvy girl, I think it looks best with some thickness.

I ordered this one as my second choice but surprisingly the dress was beautiful on and I ended up wearing it to the event. The silver metalic color was a little too much for me on the hanger but once you put the dress on the material really forms to your body in a flattering way. Im glad I wore the smaller size I ordered because the fabric gave a little through out the evening.

This dress is gorgeous and flattering, and I can't tell you how many compliments I got the evening I wore it to a charity gala. I was a little thrown by how metallic silver it actually looks on the hanger, but in the photos after the event it does look more white which explains the discrepancy between photos and in-person. It did twist a bit like the other reviewer mentioned, but I'm not afraid to say I wore Spanx and they helped keep it in place for the most part! The shape, thicker fabric and ruching are a little more forgiving if you have some curves. I'm 5'7", 128lbs, wore 3" heels, and the size 4R was perfect.

This dress is gorgeous and fits true to size. The material is more of a silvery metallic in real life than it looks in the pictures. I got many compliments. The fabric is a little thick so I feel like it made me look a little bit bigger than I am, but it's still flattering. The only real complain is that it twisted a lot, I would suggest some double sided tape under the arms to keep it from twisting around, I think it's because of the strap. But that is easily fixable and the dress is gorgeous.

I'm 5'4", I weigh 125 and I'm usually a size 6. Because this is stretchy material, the size 6R actually was big on me. The size 4R fit my body like a dream, but it was wayyyyy long for walking and especially for dancing, even though I wore 4 inch heals, and like I said, I'm 5'4". So if you want to buy this dress, just remember it's quite long, even in the Regular size. Don't buy the Long, unless you're like 5'10". This detail on this dress is so under-rated in the picture shown here on the website...in person, it will blow your mind. It is so elegant, regal, sexy, and feminine! I felt like a princess! And what's neat about the strap, is that you can actually wear it two ways...over the left shoulder or over the right...i changed it up throughout the night. If you're a curvy woman (like me) this dress is the one! I had soooo many compliments about it. And the best part was- NO one had the SAME dress...we live in a small city and the dress I was going to buy, before I found RentTheRunway, someone else ended up wearing! So I'm SO GLAD i went with this site and this dress! It was truly one-of-a-kind!

I rented this dress as my back-up and am glad that it was not my primary rental. In the photo you can not quite see the fabric, which is hard to describe. It is basically a silver stretch fabric that has a very "wavy", not flat texture. It would have been much more flattering to someone with less curves, and the fabric showed every flaw (you could even see the front seam on my hose) even without it being skin-tight. Like I stated previously, I'm sure it would be lovely on someone less curvy, but it was not for me.
