I grabbed this at the store last minute for a black tie event. The 4L does run a bit long (I am 5'7 and wore heels and it was still a bit long). It was big around my waist/bust but overall worked great! Very classy.

Loved the beaded detail on this dress! Length was perfect if you're taller, I'm 5'9" and wore kitten heels with the regular length. Recommend pinning the front closed as it gaped even when just turning to the side. The waist isn't as fitted as pictures showed, which gives a baggy shape on top if you're an hourglass. Otherwise this dress is super comfortable for dancing!

Fit me perfectly, but I recommend dress tape for the cleavage if you are smaller chested. Very comfortable and flattering.

I got so many compliments on this dress and I loved the fit and flow. In my previous RTR experience I usually wear a 6, but the 4P was perfect for me. I pretty small chested (32B) and it was definitely a little loose up top. With it being low cut I opted to use fashion tape and that worked perfectly. Overall I loved this dress!

Loved this dress and received so many compliments. I used boob tape to pull the girls up since it's very deep and you can't really wear a bra. I also had to use some safety pins at the shoulders because it kept falling down. Probably could have gone with the 8 but I was nervous with my 4 month post partum body. All in all it was a great dress!

Great fit - very comfortable and flattering. I was actually 4 months pregnant and was starting to show but you couldn't tell at all!

True to size, so 2 was a tad big for me - but it still worked. Definitely long - tripped over it a bit. Overall a really lovely gown and worked well for the occasion.

Unfortunately it didn’t cover enough of my chest and I couldn’t hide my bra (nude in the included photo). There wasn’t enough fabric to pin or tape. Otherwise it was beautiful!

I cannot begin to describe how much I loved this dress! Everything about it was perfect.. the fit, the style.. everything! It did run a little larger than most formal dresses on me, but I think if I would have gotten a petite it would have been more true to size. Highly recommend this dress for any formal occasion!

I am 6 months post baby, still breastfeeding and felt amazing in this dress. There was A LOT of cleavage going on, but my husband wasn't complaining. I did have to pin it, and then re-pin it as my boobs continued to grow throughout the night because I am breastfeeding (as I mentioned). But I felt super glamorous! Like a movie star, or a Real Housewife (but without the drama)! The length was perfect, I am petite and the petite length was perfect even with heels. The hint of sparkle throughout the dress was so pretty, the pictures don't do this dress justice!

I am 5'10", 170 lbs and this dress fit perfectly & hid my thicker midsection. Loved the V-neck (which I did pin to show less cleavage for this event) & broad shoulder area, I could wear a regular bra. Also liked the slot on the side to show & the glitz & glamour of the sparkly material.

Must run a bit big because I was able to wear a 2 when I'm usually a 4. I'm 5'6'' and wore 3 inch heels and the regular length dress was a bit shorter than I would've liked. Wore this to a formal work event. It was perfect because it wasn't too revealing in front and covered my entire upper back. Pattern and beading detail are nice – beautiful dress, definitely recommend it!

I just loved the fit of this dress. It was fitting but flowy skirt,which I always love. Very elegant, I will say that if you aren’t comfortable showing Cleavage then you will need to pin it because the neckline is a bit too low. Something that can easily be fixed.

I'm between a 12 and a 14 in most dresses. 5'6, 170 lbs, 36DD bust. I am wearing the 12. If the 14 had been available I think I would have been able to pin it in the middle, but since it was on the smaller size for me, I put a black camisole under it. I loved the look without the tank, but it was very revealing and not good for a church wedding and mother of the flower girls. Overall, I loved this gown and felt very comfortable and glam in it. I was sad to send it back!

I loved wearing this dress! I'm nursing so I think I was a little extra self conscious of how it fit on the top but after pinning it so it wasn't so low cut I ended up very pleased. My baby is only a few weeks old and I still have some extra around the waist and this dress hid what I wanted hidden. I'm 5'6" and usually a 2 or 4 but post baby 6R worked great for me.

This is actually the second time I have rented and worn this beautuful dress!! It is so very flattering, i do use fashion tape at the neckline to keep everything contained though! Its comfortable, elegant, and an excellent choice for a black tie event. I was 5 weeks post partum wearing it his time so I sized up one size, mostly for fit in the chest!

This was the perfect dress for a gala! I loved the cut! It was the perfect combination of sexy, but classy. I loved the flow of the fabric as I walked and the dress had a great slit that wasn't too revealing! The sparkle of the fabric was a lot of fun- it definitely spiced up the dress a little bit! I thought the dress was a lot of fun and very flattering! I even got into the smaller, back up size! The only down side is that the top was a bit big for a small busted lady like myself. It was an easy fix with some safety pins and dress tape! Highly recommend!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding. It was gorgeous and comfortable! The material is flowy and has a very subtle print that you can't really see unless you're up close. I would say my usual size is a 4, but I range from a 2-6. I ordered a 4, with a 6 as backup. I wore the 4, but it was a little big, a 2 would have been better. I'm very busty so this dress was great because I was able to wear a regular bra.

This dress arrived and it was in my back up size only. My preferred size was a 10 and backup of 12. The 10 was unavailable at the last minute, but I'm confident had it come in it would have fit beautifully. The quality is hard to beat, the beading and glitz was gorgeous. My sister ended up wearing it! It was good for her height of 5'9 with a 2 inch heel. I would have needed a 3 inch heel. RTR recommends having dress tape, this is VERY true! The low cut can be more comfortable with the tape if you a more modest person.

This dress is amazing! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding and reception, and it was perfect for both. The material is light and flowy, and the A-line cut compliments all the right places. I am thinner through the waist but thicker through my belly and thighs, so this dress was perfect for me. I received so many compliments and felt fabulous all night. I did notice a few of the same fit notes highlighted in other reviews, but definitely recommend this dress! As others noted, the beaded waist band is a bit snug, but I found that it hit at my natural waist in an area that was comfortable and wasn't restrictive (even after enjoying the 4 course meal). The deep-V neckline is also open and quite loose, so I used a safety pin and some fashion tape to keep it secure all night. Overall, it was such a gorgeous dress! For taller ladies, I recommend trying the longer length. I'm 5'6" and the 8R hovered a few inches above the floor in 3" heels, so others may wish to try different lengths to find one that is just right. Definitely worth renting this dress!

This dress was absolutely amazing. It was so flattering and incredible comfortable. The fabric was soft and not at all itchy. The length was perfect for the heels I had and it fit perfectly. I had a fairly large Italian dinner and the dress was still comfortable and flattering afterwards. The dress was truly very unique. One detail I liked was the sparkles on the dress appeared to be ever so slightly purple in certain lights, so it matched my date's dress perfectly! I went braless with this dress and opted to just wear pasties. This worked out great with just a little extra caution to prevent an accidental nip slip while dancing the night away. The only thing I would suggest is a little fabric tape to secure the overlapping fabric in the front. I have a relatively small chest so the fabric would pull away from my chest at times and I feel like securing the crossed fabric would provide more secure coverage. Overall, I loved this dress and I would definitely rent this dress again.

I was looking for a dress to wear for a Game of Thrones themed Mardi Gras bal and found 2 dresses in RTR. Neither were available at time to ship so they sent me 4 other dresses. They didn't work :) someone from RTR found this one for me and overnighted and it was PERFECT! I could've used a long (I'm 5'6") if I had worn heels but I went with flats and it was fine. You'll need double sided tape for the top (I'm a DDD) but you can get away with a regular bra which is awesome. Waist was tight, no give, but it fit. Didn't think I'd find a dress that I could wear with a regular bra, no spanx, and be comfortable all night! Overall it made me feel like Sansa! :)

Such a comfortable dress and so fun to dance in. It's a bit low cut but I just used a safety pin for the inside and it was perfect. Very flattering.

Fit perfectly. 100% better in person than in the photos. The bit of sparkle really added a special flair. Safety pin is needed like noted in the other reviews.

Love love loved this dress! It was perfect for my birthday party - a combination of elegant, but still fun. The length was great (I wore 3" pumps) and the fit all around was great. The only issue I had with it was the low neckline in the front. The dress I tried on live in the store had a small button that closed the gap, but the dress I received in the mail didn't have that button. I used a safety pin to keep from becoming inappropriate, but it was a little annoying. Other than that, I would highly recommend this dress for a formal event, or just when you feel like being a queen for a night!

I typically wear a 10 but the 8 worked well except that it was a little tight in the chest and due to the stitch that keeps it from getting low cut, it would gap and I would readjust throughout the night. I think this would not have been a problem in the proper size. There is a tasteful slit that is easy to hide, lots of material! I was probably about about 5'11" with my heels and the material was still touching the ground so the length might be an issue for some.

This dress is beautiful. I wore my back-up size, 10R, and it fit perfectly. I wore 3" heels and the length was just right. The top was really low cut and I had to use tape and a safety pin to keep it closed. It ended up looking great though!

It fits well and true to size. As others have said, there is absolutely no give in the waistband, so it can be uncomfortable if you've just eaten. The dress flows as you walk- I received tons of compliments on it! I am 5'5" and the length of the regular size was perfect with my 3" heels. I switched to flats later and it was still manageable but a bit long. Also, this dress shows a solid amount of cleavage. It's not obscene at all, but be aware of that if you're self conscious. I wear a 36DD and it was fine with my normal bra! Seriously a great dress. very flattering. I didn't want to take it off.

This dress was perfect for my occasion. I am an event planner for a non-profit and wore this to our Gala. I ran around the entire night and it swooshed and swayed perfectly when I moved and was very comfortable. I felt that it was conservative enough for a work event also. I'm not sure if every dress is this way, but the one I wore had a small stitch in the front that made the "v" neckline a little more conservative. I know a lot of girls complained about the front gaping, but that wasn't an issue. I think you do need to be a bit bustier in order to fill the front and have it fit properly. As for the length, I'm 5'5" and wore really low comfy wedges and the bottom of the dress just brushed the ground. Perfect length, perfect fit, perfect dress! PS. It looks a little leopard print but it's just meant to be shimmery I think.

Fit great. True to size. Did have to pin the deep v closed a little so the girls didn't tumble out on the dance floor. No biggie, though. So comfortable. I'm tall and the 4L was great- I wore flats and the dress brushed the ground as it should.

The fit was impeccable - although i can understand how on some people the top may run a bit large. I'm a DD and did have to pin it so I didn't 'pop out' but it wasn't anything crazy. The waist is well fitted, but the looseness of the rest of the dress allows for a lot of freedom of movement. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the dress can be difficult to zip up - regardless of fit. The waistband is beaded, and that + invisible zipper = a fight to get it up! At 5'5", the dress length worked well for me with kitten heels - in fact, I would say that it runs a bit short so if you're on the taller side, definitely get the tall dress! In general though, I loved this dress and got loads of compliments on it. Rent it!

Ordered the dress in my normal size and one size up. My normal size fit perfect, even the length, and I didn't even need to try the other size on. I loved the style and also liked that I could wear a bra with it. I received lots of compliments! Only problem was the zipper. It got hung up at the seam and there is absolutely no way I could have zipped it up myself. You couldn't wear this if you are getting dressed alone.

Loved wearing this gorgeous gown! So well made and flattering! It's not exactly going to be the event standout dress, but it's beautiful and I felt great!! I'd definitely rent it again! I am glad I got the Long bc I'm nearly 5'9" and wanted to wear a small heel. It was the perfect length. Normally I'm a 4 or 6 in dresses so I got both. but after reading the reviews and noticing it's not super fitted, I didn't even try the 6L on. The bodice was definitely fitted nicely. I wore a regular bra that has a good deal of padding and allows for the straps to be criss-crossed. The reviews about the front needing pinning are accurate but it's just bc the chiffon layers in front just need to be tacked on place. I used a small piece of fashion tape and was good to go.
