I really loved this dress. It was extremely comfortable and the color was awesome! The length was perfect for me, especially with an average sized heel.

There was not much of a difference in size between the 4L and 6L. I could have worn either one, but the 6L had a bit more breathing room in the waist. I'm 5'9, and was able to wear a 2.5inch heel and the dress still covered my feet!

The dress was perfect. My shoes barely peeped out of the bottom of the Regular size on my 5'5'' frame. I got an 8 as my back-up option, but the 6 fit perfect. It is very flattering to the mid-section, and was comfortable for the duration of the evening.

Perfect fit! The gown was gorgeous and was very comfortable. It is really modest and the cut of the bodice flattering. I received complements all night. It made me feel like a model.

I wore the dress for an event at an art gallery and it was perfect. The dress was very comfortable and flattering. I loved that it allowed me to keep the jewelry minimal (I just went with medium sized, dark blue studs and a simple braclet). The 12 was slightly big but I needed the L so that I could wear heels. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dress.

The dress fit perfectly. I ordered a 6R and an 8R and the 6R fit perfectly. The zipper is a pain and you definitely will need someone to help with it, but other than that, I was very happy with the dress! :)

Loved this dress! It fit beautifully too! Endless compliments from the audience, friends and family. Wore it during my Ballet Academy's production of The Nutcracker. Was just a little long in the front at first, ( I am 5'4), but wore really high heels that evening, and it wasn't a problem. Would buy this dress in a heart beat! The color was just beautiful.

The 8 and 10 both fit, but the bottom half draped more nicely in the 10. I'm 5'6", and the regular length was perfect with 4" heels. Others have complained about the zipper. Both zipped just fine, but the 8 was more stubborn than the 10. Perfect for a pear shaped woman as the synched-in waist really highlights that area, and the bottom has room to breathe. While it is long, it isn't over the top, which was nice because very few people go all-out for black tie weddings these days. It felt like a happy medium between a cocktail dress and a formal ball gown. Definitely recommend it! Friends commented that I was "best dressed!"

The dress is beautiful! Looks exactly like the photos. It's very comfortable but the girls are right, you have to wear a strapless bra with it. My only complaint is because the of the full length, the skirt is a little heavy. I'm 5'8 and had 3 inch heels and the length was absolutely perfect. I wore this to a fall wedding and received many compliments. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to make a statement. It was my first time trying rent the runway, and would do it it again in a heartbeat!

Loved this dress. Fit was great. Very comfortable. Was a little tight on the ribs but not to bad. I'm 5'9 and I ordered the long but couldn't really wear heels because it wasn't long enough.

I wore this for a black tie wedding. It fit perfectly, however, the zipper was a little difficult to get up at the point where the fabrics meet. I'm 5'8" and wore 3" heels, and the dress hit just above the floor. While I typically like longs dresses to hit the floor, I was very pleased with the overall fit and look of the dress!!

I ended up wearing the 4L even though the 6 was still comfortable. The 6 was just a tad too loose up top for my taste. The dress was incredibly comfortable and I got a ton of great comments all night! Classy and perfect for a black tie wedding!

Great fit and very comfortable. The dress was a good match for the black tie affair. Very good to sit, eat and dance, which I did plenty if. The dress was a little long, so I would wear a nice 4" heel with it (I am 5'7). So happy with this rental.

This dress was the back-up dress since my original choice was "returned damaged beyond repair," but I was actually happier with this choice! I love the color blocking which makes this more interesting than just a mono-colored dress. The magenta wasn't too "loud" to be distracting, but still caught your eye. I wore this for a formal Navy event and it was hard picking the size because I vary from 0-4 depending on the company and cut. I have a smaller waist, but broader shoulders and a bigger bust (32 DD). To give you an idea, typically, I wear a 0 for work/pencil skirts and 2 for non-zip up dresses, but since this zips all the way up the 4 fit nicely. I wore nipple stickies instead of a bra since the top part was already fitted because of my bust. I also wore 3 inch heels which was perfect because the dress fell just above floor length, but I still held on to it when I walked because I didn't want to damage it! Very comfortable material and didn't have any problems! Would definitely recommend!

This was my first time ordering from RTR and absolutely loved it! The two dresses I received (6L and 4L) were both the perfect length (I'm 5'10") but I ended up wearing the 4L to my formal afternoon wedding. It was comfortable and I received a ton of compliments on it all night long! If you're on the fence of what sizes to get, I'd recommend going down a size for this particular dress. Other random pieces of advice: wear a strapless bra; plan on wearing flats if you're 5'10'' or taller or it might look short; the zippers on both dresses were very sticky so be gentle :) Overall, I loved it and will definitely rent again!

I ordered this dress in a 4L - it was the absolute perfect length! I wore completely flat sandals with it and it just skimmed the ground. The 4R would've been too short. The dress hugged my body perfectly, not too tight anywhere. Made my waist look super tiny.

This dress fit perfectly, was a flattering cut and was age appropriate. It had an interesting neckline and I thought that it distinguished itself a bit from the the typical strapless evening gown or low-cut v-necked dress. As others have said, the zipper is difficult. The length was right for me with heels, but the Regular might run short on some.

This dress is beautiful and has a flattering fit. Got lots of compliments! I am very tall, and the long fell to my ankles - you could completely see my shoes/feet wearing heels, which was fine but would have liked it a bit longer. One thing to note, I had to wear a strapless bra because the strap cuts in further than I expected so a regular bra strap would show.

Gorgeous dress. It would normally fit true to size but the part at the waist is a little more snug that you'd expect.

I rented this as a back up dress for a semi-formal event. I was a little hesitant because I'm 28 and a mother of 2 and most of the review pictures had much younger girls wearing it. I ended up LOVING this one! It didn't photograph as well as it looked though and the zipper was very difficult to get up and down. The neckline was unique and wonderful and the dress fit was perfect! Comfortable, but still felt formal! I wore it with 4 inch heels and it was the perfect length.

It fit true to size. The zipper on this particular dress was a bit sticky, but nothing unmanageable. This was the emergency replacement dress, due to a poor fit on my original choice; yet this pick worked out! The dress was comfortable both sitting and while dancing. I am only 5 feet tall and had 5 inch heels on, and the dress was still long (about two inches on the floor). I did know the dress was going to be long on me, since there was no petite option (and I needed a dress shipped out stat!).

I rented this for a formal church wedding with a country club reception. I usually am a size 6 or 8 (at least in the Badgley Mischka dresses I've rented) since I need to accommodate my curvy hips and backside. For this dress I rented a 6 and a 4 and the 4 worked great with my small chest (34 B, 25 1/2" waist) and the skirt portion was very forgiving to my lower half. This dress comes in at your natural waist. I'm long waisted, and the dress hit right where I wanted it to. I'm not sure if short waisted gals might have a problem? I'm a smidge above 5'5 and wore 4 1/2 heals which left the bottom of the dress just barely above the floor. I really loved the way this dress fit and I was happy with the rental.

fit well, came in good condition, the draping is really nice. Well suited for small waist/larger shoulders type because of it's sculptural bodice -- striking.It made me feel fashionable at a southern California wedding, but also appropriate to the occasion -- not too revealing, but not frumpy at all. Color of skirt is lovely. I would say the band around the waist feels a bit tight by the end of the night, and my ribs were a little compressed...

This was a good dress overall, but you need a statement necklace with it to keep it from looking like a bridesmaids dress. I think this particular dress may be ready to retire, as the zipper was worn down looking and there was a little rip at the base of the zipper. It was a comfortable dress and overall fit well, but I need to add a bunch of accessories for it to really come alive.

The dress fit perfectly. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about the length. Im 5'7" and the 2L touched the floor without shoes. I wore a heel no taller than 3" to ensure the dress did not look too short. I wore a strapless bra for support and it worked perfectly. I really loved wearing this dress and I felt beautiful in it.

Very flattering fit on the natural waist. I have broader shoulders and it fit perfect, not tight in my armpits at all. I still wore 4" heels with the 4P at 5'2. The dress feel very nicely and did not cling in any areas. It was a nice, sophisticated pop of color in a sea of dark hues at a formal wedding.

I loved the look of this dress. The zipper was challenging like other reviewers mentioned, but the dress is really pretty and very comfortable. I was able to wear 3-1/2 inch heels without an issue. The side gathering of the waist is a nice cut. This is a good holiday dress.

Loved wearing this dress. Perfect draping on the full-ish skirt which complemented by shape and made it fun to walk in with heels -- I wore 3.5" and my toes just peeked out when walking but the dress didn't touch the ground at any point -- any higher I think would have made the dress look too short. Great dress for lady looking to highlight her arms and upper body.
