Was stretchy where it needed to be at the bust. There were some sequins rubbing under my arms :( and I did have to tape the hem so it wouldn't ride up, otherwise I got a zillion complements on thedress, especially from women.

Fit was good for someone curvy. Very flattering. I wish I had a better pic because it is just stunning. It's a little itchy under the arms with the sequins but nothing terrible.

I was going to wear it to a New Years Party, but I contracted a severe cold, so I didn't leave the house the whole week around NYE. I did try it on and it looked awesome and it fit well (perfectly, actually). I would have loved to have worn it.

Order a size up if you're bigger on bottom. Loved the color! It was a great dress for a fancy birthday dinner that easily transitioned for a night out on the town. It paired well with tights for the cold Chicago winter.

The size 2 fit, but was a little tight across my chest. I could have worn it, but the 4 was a tiny bit more comfortable and didn't cause as much irritation under my arms. Perfect NYE dress!

I've had a love affair with this dress since I laid eyes on it on the website. Picked it up at the Vegas store (crazy convenient and awesome customer service, btw), and it did not disappoint!!! Flattering color, sexy fit, attention grabbing, everything you need in a Vegas party dress. I would rent this dress over and over again. My 5th RTR gown and by far my favorite one yet!

I wore this for my birthday night in Vegas!! The reviews I read were pretty accurate, there was a little irritation under my arms from the sequins (but what do you expect with sequins, lol) and the bottom of the dress was about 2'' shorter than the lining so the lining showed but it was black on black and I woe it at night to a show so it didn't bother me. In fact I was a little grateful because it probably buffered the scratchy sequins edge from my skin. However while the fit was great it wasn't stretchy at all so standing was fine but when I went to sit it pulled really tight.

I made an appointment to find something to wear to a Vegas wedding at the store in the Cosmopolitan. The stylist had so many gorgeous options for me to try and all the dresses fit beautifully. I actually got compliments on this one from many of the other women in the store and those in the dressing room. It fit so nicely and was comfortable enough to move and dance in. Got TONS of compliments from wedding guests and the bride. Husband gave it a thumbs up and was one of his top 2 picks from the ones I tried on in the store.

I rented this to wear for my anniversary and WOW, what a great pick! I loved it, my boyfriend loved it, random people at the restaurant loved it. The 4 fit me better in the bust but I wore the 6 because I planned on eating a ton and I didn't want to be uncomfortable. I wore a regular slightly padded bra. This dress is SUPER short when you sit down, but a perfect length when standing. I'll definitely be renting again!

Rented this dress for my bachelorette party and LOVED IT! Purple is "my color" all the girls who came were asked to wear purple out for out big night on the town Saturday night. I also LOVE to sparkle. This dress was perfect! I put it's true to size, which is mostly true, I am between and 8 and a 10 right now and had to wear the 10 cause the 8 was a little snug. Additionally I noticed the black lining under the dress seemed to creep out at times under the sequins. This bothered me at first, but by the end of the night I didn't care :) Also, as with any sequin dress, it can be a little scratch under the arms, but since this wasn't my first sequin dress this did not surprise me. Highly recommend this dress!

I'm a size 8 with curves and and bust. I ordered a size 10 and 12 because the reviews said it ran small. I felt beautiful in this dress. I ended up wearing the size 12.

The fit was perfect. The color was beautiful. It start as a lavender purple but gets darker as it goes down. it had 3 shades of purple from light to dark. Ombre in reverse. BeforeI rented, I read another review for the dress that said it doesn't work if you have large breast. Large breast can mean many things to different people, but I have a full 32 D cup and I was told my breast looked great in the dress by the stylist at the photo shoot. The dress was fitted but not tight. It may be a good idea to wear your hair up, because my hair kept getting caught in the sequence. Overall 2 thumbs up!

This dress was form-fitting and the perfect color. It was a little short sitting down, but beyond that it was amazing. The sequins were not at all scratchy or uncomfortable.

I loved the shape and the fit, the purple color was unique and fun it's the perfect length for a shorter girl it might be too short on a taller girl though, it does show off your bust nicely if you have a bigger bust, I could even wear my regular bra with it! I fit a size 10 but wore the size 12 because it was tight in the hip area...it does ride up and the black slip shows a little but it really isn't too noticeable, I thought it would scratch my underarms more but it was really just a minor issue

Runs true to size. Very comfortable for dancing the night away! Sequins around the arm holes were a tiny but itchy but not too terrible! Gives a good hourglass shape but fabric is forgiving in the middle, so have that extra slice of cake! ;-). Absolutely loved this dress!

I rented the dress for my bachelorette party, and it was just amazing. It fit perfectly, and highlighted my best features. I'm 5'6" but wore 5-6 inch heels. My only complaint about the dress is that the sequins rubbed my armpits. But it was so worth it. The dress breathed well, stretched, and was so comfortable. I wish I could have afforded to actually just BUY the dress but hhey. Whatever. Awesome dress, seriously.

I wore this dress for night two of my joint bachelor/bachelorette party in Vegas and it was perfect! It was super comfortable to wear, I went for the bigger size only because the size 10 hips seemed small because the dress kept bunching in the mid section. But, the bigger size also fit just fine. It wasn't too short so I didn't expose myself getting in and out of the limo and I was able to dance until 5AM in it with no problems. The next morning I had some scratches under my underarm where the sequins rubbed but nothing too painful. All my girls wore their best LBD and I stood out like the Rock Star I was in this dress! I highly recommend it for any big party!

I wore the 6, and it was snug, but hugged the places with the sparkles camouflaged all the areas I'm most self conscious about (belly!) The liner at the bottom kept coming out as the other reviews mentioned, but other than that, it was great. Loved it!

I wore this dress for a night out in Las Vegas and it was perfect! I loved the gradient violet that sparkled - truly a unique choice over the basic black dress! Fit wise, I tend to wear anything from XS to M based on how it fits across the back (I'm built like a swimmer with a broad back and shoulders) and I was not able to zip up the size 2, while the size 4 fit well across the back and still fit nicely in the waist and hips. I loved that it had a sexy cut, but I could still wear it wear a normal bra. As with all sequin dresses, I had expected and endured abrasiveness on the inside of my arms while dancing, but we tend to dance with our arms up in the air anyway, right? Highly recommended dress. I also loved the Badgley Mischka Necklace I wore with it, but would recommend a piece in a darker shade to better compliment this dress. Also, one of my pictures shows my girlfriend wearing a Herve Leger dress (Lady Moscow), which was stunning and I have reserved to wear for another occasion in a size small.

I love love loved this dress! It was so pretty and sparkly, perfect for the NYE Wedding I went to. I'm in between an 8 and 10 and can usually fit comfortably in a size 8, but the 10 fit like a glove. I loved the rouching on the stomach, it helped to hide my tummy flub. I would definitely rent this dress again if ever the opportunity arose. So pretty and glamorous, I felt gorgeous and sexy all night.

I ordered this dress last minute as my intended dress did not work out. I placed the order at 1 PM and recieved it in the mail before 24 hours had even passed. Very convenient! I absolutely loved this dress! It was perfect for New Years Eve. It really flatters your body well. I received compliments left and right. This dress was perfect for my friend's bachelorette party in Boston. I got compliments all night, and I felt like a celebrity. Totally upstaged the bride's dress- whoops! Definitely runs small, especially if your full busted or have a little bit of a tummy. Also, SUPER short- do not bend over...ever.

Reviews said ran small so I got an 8 and a 10 ....I usually wear a 6 or 8 and in this dress the 8 fit just fine! I have a large chest (34DD) and my "girls" fit just fine with nice cleavage that wasn't too much. I am also short and this dress was the perfect length. The only drawback is that sometimes u can see the black lining at the bust and sometimes even on the bottom. But I LOVED This dress. I'll probably rent it again

I usually wear a 6 but the 6 didn't feel quite right. The 4 was nice and snug. Fit like a glove on my petite frame. I imagine if you are more endowed in the bust there could be some spillage. I couldn't tell if the lining was just longer or if the ombré part of the dress was just riding up forcing me to tug it down and readjust for pics.

I usually wear a 10-12. I ended up wearing the 14 because the dress was snug through the waist and hips. I ended up with too much room in the chest but was more comfortable in the 14. Just like the rest of the reviews, the inside gems hangs out about 2 inches but it ends up blending in so it not too noticeable to others. I got lots of compliments on the dress!

I loved this dress. I wore this for an art fundraiser so I wanted something with color. It fit snug and was comfortable, except for the sequins rubbing my underarms raw all night long. This is completely normal for sequin dresses, I just forgot about it ahead of time, or I would have put lotion or something on my underarms. It is SHORT and I'm under 5'3". Definitely would be way too short on a taller person.

I rented this for my bachelorette party. The dress fit well, but as others have said, the top sequin layer kept riding up showing the bottom layer constantly Also, the sequins started to irritate under my arms but it wasn't unbearable. I did not wear spanx or anything like it under this dress. It was not necessary. The dress was comfortable and was easy to sit in. It was short at times after walking around, but nothing that was irritating. Would rent again.
