Very pleased with this dress.!!! I'm actually renting it again in 3 weeks! I wanted something with sleeves and in May I wasn't finding it. This dress is lightweight and very comfortable. I'm 5'2 and got the regular length and it was fine with a 2 1/2 inch heel. I felt it was flattering in all the right areas. I was afraid it would be too tight in the hips, but it was perfect and the fabric does stretch a little. I ordered a 10 and 12 just incase, but it fit true to size and the 10 was great! The photos do come out looking like it might be black, but it is a dark Navy!! Had a great experience!

I'm in between a 4 and a 6 and could easily have worn either but in the end, I liked the overall fit of the 6. I'm 5'5" and wore 2-3 inch heels. The regular length dress was way too short with heels. The front of the dress has a slit that's hard to see in the photos but there is a short above-the-knee liner under the dress. I wore Spanx and had no issues with them showing or sticking to the dress fabric. This dress is very comfortable!

I loved this dress. It was a little bit on the long side but I am also 5'1... I did wear 5" heels with the dress. I was concerned about the knot detail in the midsection being unflattering but it hit me in the right place!

I ordered the long, and with 1/2 inch heels, it skimmed the ground. Loved the fit. It was light weight and airy. Perfect for the 65 degree weather. It is form fitting so I would recommend a shaper slip underneath. Classic and sexy at the same time.

This dress was exactly what I wanted for my event. It fit perfectly other than being a tad too long. The dress was flattering and comfortable.

I rented this gown for my firm's Gala. I had rented both the 6L and the 8L, since sometimes the designer gowns are cut smaller, but the 6L fit perfectly. The fabric of the gown is stretchy enough that there is "give" if you need it, but the style (with the cinched waist) is so flattering. I wore the gown with 3 1/2 inch heels and it was perfect. I did wear a strapless bra with it since I wasn't sure if a regular bra's straps would show through in the back, but you could probably get away with a regular bra and just use double-sided tape to keep the straps hidden. I received so many compliments on the gown, and I was so comfortable all night long. I HIGHLY recommend this rental!

I had ordered size 6, ran big and did not fit well. RTR was super helpful and sent the size 4 and it was perfect!

This dress was a perfect fit for a black tie charity ball. I was able to wear a regular bra with this dress. I am 5'3" and I wore 3" heals the length was perfection! The fabric is super comfortable and forgiving I had a baby three months ago in this dress you would never know! This is my third dress rental and I have yet to be disappointed by RTR! The dress is very class with a touch of sexy with the opening in the back and very tasteful slit in the front. Don't hesitate rent this dress!

I absolutely loved this dress. It fit perfectly. It was just the right length with 3inch heels. I loved the cutout back. I wore it to a black tie event that was in a huge warehouse and it was quite cold but I was nice and toasty with the high neck and long sleeves. It definitely is a conservative bu sexy look with frame hugging fabric. Perfect for someone with an hourglass figure. The official fit notes say that it is best for someone with an A-C cup but I have a D cup (on the smaller side of D I suppose) and the chest was not too tight at all. I also have big upper arms (and not in a "I'm so muscular" way!) and was really worried that the arms might be too tight but they weren't at all. The ruching at the tummy/waist perfectly hid my "I've had two babies" belly - I didn't even wear Spanx! Great fit. Great dress!

This dress was true to size and very comfortable to wear. I originally ordered the Regular but it was too short so RTR sent me the Long (I'm 5'5"). I got comments all night about the dress!

This dress was a huge hit! The fit was phenomenal. In formal dresses, I usually have to go up a size or two to fit the bust line and tummy areas - this dress was SO stretchy and comfy, I could wear my normal size 6! The arms were quite skinny but fit me perfectly (there are actually hidden zippers at the wrists to help, in case you have larger arms!). I also couldn't tell from anyone else's reviews that there was a very tasteful split up the side/front -It was a nice surprise, and made the dress even more flattering! The fabric is great (not too thick!) and the sparkle gives it that extra fun factor! The back is stunning and you CAN wear a regular bra with this! (just make sure the straps don't come in too close in the back). There's an underskirt to this dress too that is short and sucks you in - you truly would not even have to wear spanx with this one, if you'd rather forgo those. I am 5'1" and with 4" heels, the length was perfect - skimmed the floor but not so long that I would trip. It was a beautiful dress and one I would highly recommend to those looking for a long sleeve option.

I found the fit true to size; it draped well and was very flattering - especially in the mid- section! I loved that it was navy instead of traditional black. Would use RTR again for sure!

The fit was great, it hugged all the right curves and the ruching in the front made it a little more forgiving so when I ate and drank i didnt have to worry so much about "sucking it in" i had people stop in their tracks to tell me how great i looked and i felt like a celebrity all night! I ordered a 4 and 6, the 6L was perfect for me and i wore about 4 inch heels. Absolutely loved this dress!!

I first ordered this dress in a 12R and the dress was pretty short. It stopped at my ankles. The 12L was the perfect length however. The fit was great and very flattering for my figure. If you are kind of self conscious about your midsection then this dress is great. It wasn't uncomfortably tight anywhere. I really loved the beading on the cuffs of this dress because it makes this simple dress look more elegant. Another benefit of the beaded cuffs is that you don't have to worry about bracelets because they are like an accessory lol. I was very satisfied with this dress and with my experience with RTR in general.

I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras ball in January! The sleeves were perfect for the cooler weather. The dress was more beautiful than in the picture and so comfortable! Great dress to dance in and move around! The dress is a little short, however it worked out considering I usually wear flats to these types of events! I would definitely recommend this dress and would possibly rent again!!!

While RTR didn't have a 2R in stock and the 4R was just slightly too big on me, this dress was lovely. Very flattering if you have an hourglass figure and conservative with just a touch of sex appeal with the open back. Everyone complemented me on a look they considered "Hollywood glam".

The dress was very comfortable. It was elegant and simple which is exactly the look I was trying to achieve for my dear friend's New Years Eve wedding. It is not black but navy blue which I knew from previous reviews. I ordered it in long and really happy I did. I'm 5'8" at first I thought the dress was too short for it being specifically long. Once I placed on my heals, it seemed to work and was not as short as I originally though it would be. I also rented a clutch purse and the necklace shown in the photo. It all went together perfect. My first time experience with RTR is an A and I'll definitely rent again!

This dress is incredibly flattering! I was really nervous because I was 30 weeks pregnant but I just ordered up a few sizes and it fit great. Sleeves would've been too short if Id gotten my regular size, so I recommend getting the L.

I was leery of the dress when I first got it, I rented a 6R and an 8R. the 6 was clearly worn more often and had a few flaws in the dress itself (stitching coming apart, etc). I wore the dress to an nye dinner so I wanted something that would fit me even with a food baby. it fit perfectly and was extremely comfortable. I felt very confident wearing the dress and received many compliments!

Fit true to size. Given it's long sleeved and has bedazzle on the cuffs, I went light on the jewelry and bigger with the hair. The dress is navy (not black as i originally thought) but was perfect. Just double check your bra. While yes you can wear a normal bra, you have to be sure it doesn't peep through the back since there's an opening. Very flattering for someone with, well not a flat stomach :)

Dress fits true to size, very comfortable material. The midsection rouching is perfect to hide any belly. The detail on the cuffs is really pretty. I wore the long and it wasn't all that long ( I'm about 5'10" and it barely touched the ground without shoes). I would totally recommend it anyone!

Wow this dress is awesome! As a short girl the length was great. I'm 5'1/5'2 and I wore 4 inch heels and the regular length was just hitting the floor no dragging fabric. I have a large bust and was able to wear my true size without having to size up for my bust, this is very rare! I also was able to wear a regular bra without it showing in the cut out back. I love the cuffs on the wrists of this dress :) all in all I felt amazing!

This dress was a replacement because the original dress I ordered was damaged and I loved it !At first I was a bit hesitant because I was afraid the dress would make me look much older, but once I got all dressed up it was perfect. I got many compliments throughout the night and I felt very confident in it. Hope this helps!

A stunning dress with subtle details. The zipper does zip up kind of weird, maybe because of the jersey fabric? My husband had an easier time zipping up when I held the top closed as he held the bottom of the zipper. With the details on the cuffs, I opted for stud earrings. No real need for statement pieces when you're wearing this dress. :) The long sleeves and length definitely give you the classy, elegant look. There is a slit in the dress! it shows when you walk, but it isn't too high. I am short, but with 4" heels, it didn't drag too much on the ground.

Gorgeous dress. I wish I could buy it. I wore the dress with 4 inch heels. I wish it were just a touch longer to cover my toes when i stood straight up. But besides that, the dress was amazing! I got so many compliments! The details on the sleeve are just perfect.

I ordered the 6L and the 8L. I didn't even need to try on the 6L because the 8L fit perfectly. I received so many compliments, especially on the back of the gown. I was apprehensive about my bust being too large for the gown, but I didn't have a problem with that at all. I was very satisfied with my rental and will be renting again!

Very comfortable elegant dress. Depends on the look you're going for - I wanted understated elegance and to play up my makeup.

Fit was great. The twist in the material in the front was really flattering. The details on the cuffs were understated and pretty. I paired it with simple sapphire earrings and louboutins. It arrived a day later than expected due to a snowstorm but luckily it arrived about 30 minutes before I had to leave and I was so pleased when it fit and was comfortable!

I'm five months pregnant and needed a dress for a black-tie wedding. This is not a maternity dress, but I saw that other pregnant women had worn it successfully and thought I would give it a try. It fit in my regular pre-pregnancy size (4R) and completely concealed my belly. It has an incredible drape in the front and a cut that is at once stretchy and form-fitting. It was also very comfortable and easy to wear. It is elegant but understated - you won't be the center of attention, but you will look and feel great. What you can't see from the pictures is the following: 1) There is a cut-out in the back (but I was still able to wear a regular bra and it was mostly covered by my hair). 2) There is a slit in the front of the dress, which makes it possible to walk, but also means that the dress falls open a little above the knee when you sit down/cross your legs. 3) There is a light spandexy dress lining that comes down from the bodice to the mid-thigh to help "smooth" your form (which is great!), but you have to make sure that you pull it all the way down when you are dressing, or it will bunch up around the hips. Once you have it in place it stays put.

This dress was so comfortable that I was able to eat a full meal in it and then sit in a freezing theatre for hours afterward without feeling constricted or cold. The cuffs give a great sparkly element and I was able to wear a standard bra with it- just make sure you wear one with straps that are wide set along the band. The slit kept it from being matronly and I received so many compliments. Loved it!

I wore this dress for my baby shower. I was 7 months pregnant so I needed a dress that stretched. My pre-pregnancy size is a 4. I wore this dress in a size 6 and it was perfect. It complimented my bump very well. Elegant, classy and sexy all in one. I didn't think I would be able to feel that way being so far along in my pregnancy. This was my first time trying Rent the Runway. Everything was wonderful!

It was the perfect dress for prom! I loved the fit. It hugged all the right curves and hit the imperfections. The only problem was the back was a little loose and showed my bra. I had to tape the dress to my back but other than that it was comfy, looked gorgeous, and was well worth it!

This dress has a real quality feel and look to it. The material is heavy enough that it gives a beautiful drape, the style is flattering and conservative at the same time. The bling at the cuffs is a simple and fun adornment. I ordered both a size 6 and a size 4. The 4 definitely fit better and I am a solid size 6. Enjoy!

I was skeptical when I brought this one out of the box - doesn't look as flattering on the hanger. But I absolutely ADORED it when I put it on! Another RTR success. Had to wear a backless bra.
