This dress fit exactly the way I thought it would. It was a little long, but nothing a pair of heels couldn't fix!! My only warning to this dress is that it did rub in the armpit area. I loved this dress and would rent it again.

I wore this to my school's semi-formal as a second choice because UPS messed up the shipping label. I was devastated but the customer service at RTR was incredible and let me pick a new dress (this one), shipped it over night for free. This does run big in the top part and I have a large chest, do not be scared to get a size smaller than your usual size. I wore this with 3 inch heels and it was perfect. The color is even more amazing in person. I got so many compliments that evening and would recommend this dress to anyone.

I absolutely ADORED this dress! I've never felt so good about myself as I did wearing this. It felt and looked as if it were made for my body, hugged my curves in all the right places. I received so many compliments. People mentioned it being too short, but I thought it was just right. It skimmed the tops of my heels, no ankle showed and it was easy to dance in. It was a little tight in the armpit of the strap side and a tad loose on the right bust but not noticeable after a drink or 2. Within an hour of wearing it I wanted to buy it so I could wear it again. If I owned this dress I'd wear it every where! Accessories: I wore it with gold 2.5 in heels, a simple gold necklace and gold bauble earrings. Also borrowed my grandma's mink coat to wear over it, fancy!

Hugs your body in all the right places. 2R was long even with 3" heels but easily taken up with hem tape. I got compliments all night! The material is light but lining provides warmth (I wore it to a winter wedding). Overall, a great dress.

I received this dress the day before my military ball and i was so nervous that the dress wouldn't fit. I have recently gained a bit of weight and I thought I was going to feel uncomfortable. When i put the 10r on i felt comfortable but you could see my little tummy I've put on myself over the last few months but the dress was overall very loose. After some coaxing i tried on the 8r and it was a slim fit. it hugged every curve of my body. I felt like a princess in this gown. The royal blue complimented my husbands uniform as well as his eyes. This was my first experience with RTR and i was very pleased to say the least. The gown god a little looser as the night went on but it didnt fail to amaze me and i got compliments all night long! I cant wait to order from RTR again!

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's spring fling for his law school. I was way overdressed for the event, but with this dress it didn't matter! People kept complimenting it all night, and apparently my boyfriend was receiving head nods and various hand signs from other guys at the event about my dress--supposedly signs of approval in man-code. As for fit, it is great if you have an hourglass figure, because it shows off your curves without being too risqué/showy. I ordered the 2L and the 4L and went with the 2L (though I could've chosen either--4L was "comfier" but 2L was like BAM!). I was able to wear my sky high Brian Atwood pumps w/it also. It is a beautiful, vibrant royal blue in real life, and the lace applique is stunning.

Wore it to a military ball! Color was unique to the many other black dresses

I'd recommend Spanx if you have tummy issues. The ruching isn't very forgiving.

This dress for very well:) I have 38 DD's. I got the long version & wore it with closed toe Rachel Roy pumps, they were black with trims of that same Royal/Pepsi Blue. My bag/clutch was black satin with gold studs. I wore gold draped earrings & a gold cuff bracelet. No necklace & sorry for the blurry picture. I had to use someone else's picture that they took because my phone was dead :/ no shaper undergarments were worn (this time lol) I'd definitely rent this dress again!

I rented this dress for my sister in laws wedding and it wasn't love at first sight. I didn't initially like the dress, it was a little big on me and didn't give me as much shape as I hoped for. I called RTR and they sent me several replacement dresses, fantastic customer service, and I ended up going with this dress after all. It was a little less formal than the runner up. I received SO many compliments on this dress, I was on cloud 9 by the end of the night! The length was perfect with my 4" heels. Definitely order down for back up. I'm long and lean and I really could have used a 0L in the dress!! I am so pleased with RTR, this was my first experience and even though I didn't have the best luck with sizes, I'll definitely be renting for my next wedding/event!! So much fun!!

I wore this to a black tie optional awards event and felt amazing and confident in it. I had a baby four months ago so I was worried about how it would look and fit-- turns out there was no need to worry, it was great! Even the bust fit well, and that is usually my biggest problem area for formalwear (I'm a 38DD). One tiny complaint is that the dress was a bit short. I am 5'4" and got the regular length, and it only just touched the floor with no shoes on. Overall, though, super-satisfied!

Fit is form fitting from shoulder thru hips. Doubt it would be comfortable for a well endowed bust as the fabric may be tight at the armhole. Fit is wonderful for a small waist, full hips. Fabric stretch defines waist so dress works well even for the long waisted. Would have liked another 1+" in length so I could wear more than a 1 1/2" heel. Dress is made for dancing.

It fit true to size with a little wiggle room. Beautiful material and color!

This dress was so perfect! The royal blue color and lacey design were complimenting. Since the dress didn't fit so snug they you can't breath, I was able to eat (so much food at the wedding-yes!). The dress was a little long but once I put on my heels the bottom just ever so slightly grazed the floor. I love it and would definitely rent it again (ugh dear my friends, please hurry up and get married so I can have another chance to wear it!! )

Dress is extremely roomy. Great fit! On the 10 the length was a little short so I wore flats and I am 5'4 if you wanted to wear heels I suggest going with a bigger size. Love rtr!

This dress was amazing, I was afraid it wouldn't look right or fit well since the royal sweet 16 was four days away, but was so excited when I put it on and became ecstatic! I received so many compliments all night of the dress and danced just great in it :) totally worth it.

This dress made me feel like a movie star! The color is gorgeous and the dress is very comfortable. I'm usually a size 12 but the 14 was roomier around the waist and longer so I opted for that size. Great rental!

It was perfect, rouched at waist, no need to wear bra. Spanx were a must, it is form fitting. Felt so comfortable in it, dances the night away!

Beautiful yet so easygoing. I didn't feel "stuffy" or uncomfortable at all. Very nice fitting dress. Fit me just perfect! My normal size is 14, but since I've gained a little weight recently the 16L was perfect. I'm going to rent it again sometime in a size 12! Everyone told me it was beautiful! Really pretty blue! Once I put it on I didn't ever want to take it off because I felt like a million bucks! I usually don't wear a tall but I'm 5'9" and the 16 and the 16L fit fine. I could have chosen either but the long one fit perfect and hung nicely. I love Rent the Runway and I've rented from them at least 4 times. I always get top notch service and beautiful designer dresses from them. Returning the dress is also painless/ just stick it in the pre paid pre addressed UPS bag which RTR provides. Loved this dress and I love RTR!!

Love, love, love this dress! Wish I could have gotten the longer size, but the regular was ok (the hem didn't quite hit the floor, so my heels just peeked out a little - I'd recommend the long if you're tall and it's available though). Very comfortable, and definitely a compliment magnet. The gathering at the hip and two layers of fabric work well to camouflage unwanted curves, but just be aware that it is still formfitting down to the mid-thigh. Also, I'm a 34DD and had no problems at all with the top of the dress. I rented the necklace pictured with the dress also, and the two are stunning together.

I was deciding between a 4 and a 2 and the fit of the 2 was perfect except for the length (my heels were 4 or so inches high and the dress was too short when I wore the 2) so I ended up going with the 4. I had some gaping at the top that was fixed with some double sided tape. If I had been wearing lower heels I probably would've picked the 2, though!! The only other thing to be aware of is that the fabric snags on things VERY easily. My corsage bracelet kept getting stuck and I had to carefully maneuver it off without pulling the fabric. Other than those two things it was a gorgeous dress. The color is a vivid blue and the dress itself is very forgiving (hooray for not feeling constricted!) I would definitely recommend it.

If you are tall and have a nice tan this dress will look amazing on you. I wore a 2 long and I'm 5'8". I only wore 2 inch heels and it fit perfectly.

Fit was very comfortable and forgiving...could eat and sit and not feel hindered in anyway. I did have to be careful with the long length not catching my high heels as the fabric would easily snag.

This dress is even prettier in person. The color is more of a cobalt blue and really pops. The material is so comfortable. I ordered a 2 and a 4 , both fit but went with the 4 for a little extra room. Great experience!

Dress fit like a glove; however, it is a little short for my taste. I wore 16L and could only wear 2 inch heels. (I am 5'5.5" exactly and my husband is 6"3", so i live in 4 inch heels.) Other than that, this dress is made for me and all curvy women!! My measurements are 44" bust, 39" waist and 49" hips. According to these measurements I am closer to a size 18 on a chart; however, the 16 fit perfectly. It is a wonderful dress for those girls, who do not fit in standard sizes, but are not quite plus size either. This was my first time renting from RTR, and I absolutely loved it!! Can't wait for my next event so that I can Rent The Runway again!! Dresses arrived ready to wear in a lovely garment bag (which you get to keep! yay!), and all I have to do is mail them back tomorrow in the pre-postage UPS envelope bag provided. Amazing!

Simple yet elegant. Careful, the lace may snag. It fit wonderfully and complimented my figure. True to size but I ordered a size smaller as a backup size and wore that one because of its better length. I'm a decent height (5'6'') and lean but with a bust. The color really stood out in the crowd and I had an amazing time at my prom with this dress!!!

I have a curvy/athletic build, and this dress fit like a dream. There is a slight flare at the bottom, which works well if you have wide-set hips like I do. There is plenty of room to move, and I didn't feel constrained or restricted at all. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this dress!

Wore this dress for my sister's wedding and felt like a million bucks! The lace gives this simple form-fitting gown a little extra something that makes it truly unique. It's very stretchy material so I would recommend getting the smaller size if you're between two sizes.

Flattering and great for curvy girls with hips. UPS had messed up my original order so I had to go to RTR at Henri bendel in the city at the last minute. They had this dress for me and one other but I loved this dress. The sales girls were great and kept apologizing for UPS mistake. This was the weekend before Christmas so I was extremely worried about not getting a dress but everything came through

What can I say? Perfect fit, perfect length, perfect color. Didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! The RTR stylists were especially wonderful in helping me pick out the perfect earrings and bracelet!

I rented the 2R and 4R because I planned on wearing flats, and the reviews said the dress ran a little large. The 4R fit PERFECT, I even could have worn a small one or two inch heel. The 2R fit but was on the tighter side but was MUCH shorter than the 4R. I am only 5'4" and it didn't even touch the floor. The color of the dress however was very brilliant blue and matched perfectly with my husbands marine corps dress blues. I am a 34DD wore a one strap bra and a tight body slip but didn't have to because the dress hides those minor flaws. Extremely comfortable for sitting through a ceremony and dancing all night! I would rent this dress and the gorgeous earrings again.

LOVE this dress! Beautiful color, material, and shape. SO comfortable. It does stretch, so I'm glad I took the advice and ordered a 10. Perfect length for 3 inch heels on my 5'10' frame. Got complimented the entire night. Also easy to sit in, which is important for a pianist. Thank you RTR!

This dress is stunning and makes you look/feel like a million bucks! I got tons of compliments on the cut and the color. It fit perfectly (with the help of some smoothening Spanx, naturally) and was so, so comfortable. If you're very self-conscious about your hips or thighs (or have prominent saddlebags), I might steer clear of this dress, but it really flatters a curvy body (this dress is sexy, but classy). In terms of the length, the regular was perfect for me (5'6" in flats), but if you're 5'5" or taller and plan on wearing 2"-4" heels, I would recommend the long.

The fit was great. I chose a 6R & 8R, the 6R was perfect. I wore spanx but would've been fine without. Just be cautious of accessories when making dress choices. The delicate lace would be very easy to snag. This dress was very stretchy & forgiving. It always feels great to receive compliments all night long! Thank you for a fabulous service.

The dress fit amazing and I tend to rotate between a 2 and a 4, really either one would have worked but the 2 was better which made me smile, it is a beautiful richer color than in the main photo. Tons of compliments, stood out without being over the top.
