My hips measure 40.5”, sat most of the day and the slit stretched a bit so that the larger piece would get caught between my legs as I walked. Sooo, stand if you can while wearing? I would not wear without tights for work, and may not wear again due to the shape changing by the end of the day.

This dress is beautiful! The pattern and shape is perfect for work. However, if I were to rent it again I would size up one size for a less form-fitting look for work. The material does not have much stretch to it. I am 5'6" and this hit me mid thigh, was not too short. It does have a slit on the left thigh but it's not too high or inappropriate.

The stripes are super flattering and the fit is great. Perfect for WFH, office, drinks, or brunch with the girls.

I don't remember too much about the dress - I think it was nice, but nothing super special? I imagine I'd be a good dress for meeting clients or something - bold but still appropriate.

Long enough to be professional. Also although this dress was form fitting it was not overly tight on me. The slit in the front was not that revealing for a short person like me. Only sucky part was that there is no zipper so you have to put it on over your head and the neck opening is small. Once on, you're good as gold... or in this case nude.

I loved this dress for work. It was snug around my curves but forgiving around my belly. It was comfortable to wear. The dress is long but the slit makes up for it and is still appropriate for work.

This is a very professional dress that is fitted but comfortable. It's the one to rent when you have a important presentation or meeting.

I brought this on a work trip and it traveled well and was comfortable, unique, and professional. It was a simple style but still interesting. The material was pretty thick so it's really better for fall/winter, and there's no zipper so you have to pull it over your head. But there was a little bit of stretch so it was easy to wear and overall flattering. Nothing insanely special but great for a professional environment.

Very nice quality, thick material that holds its fit while having some stretch. The slit makes all the difference. Comfy to wear though ended up more of a work feel, so I wore a different dress to go out that night. Would definitely rent in fall for a work event or conference.

I wore this dress for Easter. Overall, as a pregnant person, it suited my needs. It wasn't the MOST flattering dress but I do appreciate how unique it is.

Have rented several times. Super flattering and easy to wear for spring or fall. Wish I could buy it! Great for hourglass figures, but probably pretty forgiving on lots of different shapes. There’s a good amount of stretch in the fabric, but it’s not at all flimsy.

Definitely stiff (not something I’d wear working from home) and the stripes definitely highlighted my post-baby mama pooch.

Tighter in leg area than typical 42's, I have narrow hips and thighs. Slit was a bit deeper than I would have liked for work, but probably because of the tightness. Ended up not wearing this time.

Wasn't sure what size to rent because Derek Lam's size chart online is in US sizes, but this dress is in European sizes. I guessed at a 44, but it was too small, which makes me think this is Italian sizing? I ordinarily wear a 10 (waist 30, hips 39). It wasn't crazy too small - I probably could have worn it out of the house, but I wouldn't have been comfortable. I really liked the style otherwise - will order up and try again.

Loved this dress. Really pretty and flattering; slit is comfy and alluring. Conservative but not frumpy. Form fitting. Dress smelled a little funky upon arrival - needs a deeper dry clean.

This was super comfortable and the fabric was very thick and high quality. I wasn't a huge fan of the fit, it was far too big around the midsection, but if I had gone down a size, it would have been too tight in the bust and hips.

The fit on this dress was perfect and the dress was comfortable and flattering. Definitely had a few seams that could use some love but a truly great all purpose dress that can go from day to night very easily.
