Great for work. Slip is longer than crochet overlay so you need to adjust when walking but other than that this is a solid option for a black dress.

Loved this rental! I wore it several times before sending it back. The front pockets were super cute (and practical! held my iphone plus), and the material was thick enough to keep me warm at night in NY.

This dress is a great wardrobe staple. Knee length (good because I'm tall) and not too tight. Beware that the material is fairly thick so may not be Best in the height of summer. Would rent again

I loved the material and how comfy this dress was. Felt like it was flattering yet beautifully made.

Runs 1 size large. According to the Derek Lam sizing chart, I should be Ital 42, but it was definitely a bit too roomy. Great dress if you're tall or long waisted - this is the only sheath dress I've ever tried on that has a cut that fits my 5'10" frame. Comfortable stretchy but substantial textured fabric. Knee length - work appropriate but great for cocktails as well. Beautiful construction.

True to size. The material is thick and is noticeably worn so the pockets, which are usually a plus for me, sagged. The liner of the dress peeps out from under the dress (as seen in the pic) so I was constantly pulling up the liner. Not the best experience but still overall was an excellent outfit that looked pulled together and professional. I wore a silk ivory blouse underneath the dress for that pulled together look.

Classic. The material is pretty thick but easy to wear in the summer. Chunky flavor knit with underliner and leather trim. Fairly basic but easy to dress up. Also added some junk in the trunk with the zipper structure and thick fabric.

This dress is more than it looks like in photos. The cut is gorgeous and so flattering! Leather trim, packets, and a sheath cut. The fabric is like a tweed, so it's textured and so pretty. But it's also got a bit of stretch, so it's comfortable to wear. The dress showed signs of wear, which is why I'm giving it a 4. The liner was showing out the bottom a bit, because the tweed is a soft fabric. I still felt great in the dress & got a ton of compliments!

The dress fit perfectly, not too tight but not loose. It was long enough to wear for work and I loved the pocket detail. The zipper was a little tough to get zipped. Other than that, loved it!

I rented this for work and went out to happy hour in it after. Perfectly modest and classy, but also form-fitting enough to be sexy. I felt comfortable in it all day & night. Loved the pockets. I'm a little over 6'1 and it was long enough.

pro: detailing of the textured fabric makes it stand out against other simple black dresses. The leather trim neckline is a great added feature, but best of all are the POCKETS! Seriously, why don't more dresses have pockets? con: it is a bit narrow at the hem, so if you take big steps (in true New York fashion) or are walking quickly, it is a bit restrictive.

I sized down one size and it fit perfectly but it came below my knee which was just too long for me.

Overall a nice dress in a thick material, but i hated how the lining sticks out on the bottom and makes the whole thing look sloppy. I felt self conscious about that all day.
