I love this piece! Its got such a flirty, feminine, vintage feel. Its fully lines, but can be known toblow up in the wind. Subtle hints of blue. I'm 5'2 and it falls to the knee. The back/shoulder area does bunch up a bit, but thats probably because im on the short side.

This size 8 fit a little big, but I know I'm in between 6 and 8. I got tons of compliments including ppl asking if I lost weight! I'm keeping this a little longer so I ca wear again!

Easy, flowing and super comfortable, this dress was a great choice for an all day shift at my restaurant. It's cut very well and the fabric is both high quality and very attractive. Not a showstopper but gets the job done in an admirable fashion.

The dress is incredibly flattering. The pattern is gorgeous the brown and purple works for both late summer and early fall. And cold weather I could layer it with a sweater and boots.

Wow! This dress is so much more fabulous in person than I could've imagined. I wore it with a little suede belt I have to give it a bit more detail which worked perfectly. The fabric is luxurious silk and with the pattern is so perfect for autumn (especially in Scottsdale, AZ where we still have 95 degree days in October! One of my clients even complimented the dress and now wants to be an RTR customer too. Love this dress!

This dress is much longer on someone short like myself at 5'1. This goes just passed the knees. It still looks great, but I pair it with heels to elongate the little leg I do show and to define the calf muscle. The skirt is my favorite part of this dress as it flowers and flickers about your legs as you walk in a very playful manner. The pattern had me hesitate at first, it looked a little to matronly, but once on and moving it really helped me warm up to the dress. The v-cut neckline also keeps it from looking stifling, as the cut of the shoulders isn't quite as youthful on it's own. This fit very comfortably, though it's a little tight if you need to reach your arms over your head. There was tightness trying to put my bag in an overhead compartment - not enough to rip the fabric - but uncomfortable enough that I sought assistance rather than risk stressing the seams. While it drapes nicely off your body, you could get away with shapeware if needed as it doesn't cling to you. If you have a little tummy you'll want to suck it in as it can peek out. I pared this with 3/4 sweater for the cool inside of the office building. Outside it does okay, but the liner fabric isn't friendly to moisture - try not to sweat wearing this baby.

This dress surprised me in nearly every way: the color, the cut, and how much I loved it. The purple is far more pronounced than it appears in photos, but that isn't a bad thing, it amps up the richness of the browns. I didn't realize what simple construction the dress had, but that too turned out to be a positive as the fit is terrific. While I rated it "runs large," I want to clarify: it runs large in the waist and hips and TTS in the bust. Really love this dress and am definitely keeping it around for at least one more wear.

I wore this to the theater. It is a beautiful dress--elegant, pretty, feminine, conservative (in a good way). I usually wear a 6 or 8. The 42 fit perfectly.

One of the best pieces I've come across in Unlimited! The dress is cut so well and tastefully flatters curves. The leaf pattern has some periwinkle mixed in that lighten it up, so it can work in spring and summer. I got so many compliments on it. Thank you RtR for including amazing pieces like this in Unlimited- it makes it worth every penny.

I'm officially addicted to Derek Lam dresses. The fabric is so nice, and the cut so flattering! The rib cage in this dress was oddly big, but I wore a belt and it looked nice for the office. Not sure if I'd order a size down, or if it's just the cut of the dress, but I'd rent again in my unlimited subscription.

Flattering fit-and-flare dress that fits true to size, but was a bit snug at the chest for me. I am wearing this dress in size US 10 (UK 46), which is my usual RTR size (for reference, I am 5'8", 155 lbs, 36C). The dress is fully lined, but both the dress itself and the lining are made out of very thin silky material, so overall this dress is best for warmer summer temps (but the pattern reminds me of fall). The reason I am giving this dress only 4 stars is the condition of the dress: the fabric at the V-neck is stretched out and therefore doesn't lay flat and the lining was longer than the dress itself in the back. Also, the top of the zipper in the back scratches a bit.

I really liked this dress. The colors are more beautiful in person and the way it hangs is really nice. The 36R fit nicely and you couldn't tell that it could've been taken in 2" at the waist (seems like it would be good at fitting various sizes and body shapes). Length hit me right below the knee which is good for work. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I liked it a lot and it's a good staple but it's not a wow piece.

Loved the fit of this dress! Beautiful and comfortable silk fabric. I dressed it down with brown leather wedge boots and a denim jacket, could also be dressed up with heels and jewelry.

This dress is great! Light material that doesn't really wrinkle (but can get a little staticky). Abstract floral/leaf print of browns, oranges, periwinkle/purple on cream makes it a great fall choice. I ordered a size up because that's what was available and it worked fine-the looseness kinda gave it a nice 90's vibe and made it super comfortable to wear. Definitely a below the knee midi-length on me at 5'1. Paired with some vintage frye boots and a cardi-made a great easy outfit!

This is a nice, light, flowy dress in fall colors. Elevated everyday wear.

I enjoyed the feel of this dress. The silk dress and lining were nice and cool and you couldn't see through the dress. I did get some questions in the pattern- "what is that, butterfly wings?" Not sure! Favorite shoe paring was black high heeled sandals. Nice length skirt. Could move and take care of the kiddo freely with no worries about flashing.

It was nice, and I got a few compliments on it at work, which is always appreciated. But I wish I had ordered a size down, and it pulled to the right all day - like the v in the neckline was off center.

This dress has a lovely pattern and is very comfortable. On me it was large through the ribcage and waist, but i wore a belt and jacket to make it look more tailored.

Loved this dress. Perfect mixture of feminine, professional, and elegant. The dress isn't cut too low, it's not too short with slightly more length in the back, the print isn't too aggressive, and the skirt is flowy A-line without too much excess material. It's a more vintage cut that I think is underutilized given it's feminine, easy to wear, without being so A-line that it's super young. It's fitted in the waist and bust so emphasizes that you're a woman without being restrictive in the butt/hips making movement easy. Perfect for pear shapes, though great for anyone.

I really like the fabrics of all Derek Lam pieces. No exception with this dress. From afar, this looks like a standard, floral pattern, but in-person, it's actually an interesting, leaflike motif. Love the length, the material, and the way it lies without hugging my tummy. Love how it's classy & conservative yet not boring. The open neck area adds a bit of a sexy twist.

This dress was great for the office on a hot summer day. It was very cool and comfortable to wear outside while walking to/from work. However, it was still comfortable to wear inside my air conditioned office. I would definitely rent this again.

This dress is part demure, part hangs off every curve. There's just the right amount of cleavage, but plenty of room in the tummy. When you walk, the skirt sort of flounces - but nothing poufy. I have worn this dress 4 times already, just dry cleaned it, plan to wear it again tomorrow. I love it. Shame it's on the pricey side as I would buy it. It is a PERFECT date dress, perfect family dinner dress, perfect meet-a-work-colleague-in-the-evening dress. I feel gorgeous wearing it - even walking through the New York subway. NOBODY has failed to notice it and comment on it. And I feel like everyone's checking it out as I walk. It is completely age appropriate, completely conservative, but skims and hangs so well, and has 'just enough' sheerness, it's still hot. Awesome dress. Maybe I _will_ find a way to justify buying it...hmmm...
