This shirt is definately cropped but works well with high waisted pant. Solid sweater with fun details. I think I sized up.

Loved the look & feel of this sweater - more luxe & stylish than photos show - but had to pull out the heavy duty shaping underwear to make it look ok. Medium was tight fit (& maybe arm length short?) for typical size 8 me. Anyone without slender torso / svelte tum might want to size up.

I love Derek Lam and was introduced to the brand theough RTR. Just pit this on for a work lunch and it should transition smoothly into a cute oufit for a friend's dinner oarty tonight. Love it.

This heavy, stretchy fabric is a cold winter office dream. It is a bit of a cropped top so wear higher waisted bottoms to compliment. I loved the pattern, the bell sleeves and shape. Will rent for work or everyday again... and again.

This sweater is super super soft - I love the material. I wore the S and I know that the sweater is a crop sweater, but I still felt like the sleeves (which are flared) were still a little short. Great everyday sweater for any occasion. The color is also navy and grey (which I know many reviewers have mentioned but it still feels like it should be black and grey).

Im usually a small but i went up to medoum because i knew i'd be layering since its cropped. The flared 3/4 length sleeves are a fun touch. Not too flared. Good quality, thick fabric. Great for winter or fall. Cute navy blue windowpane pattern. I wore this a few tomes before i sent it back.

The sweater is adorable and works equally well to wear to work with a pair of slacks or simply out with a pair of jeans. It is however definitely cropped. To wear to work I layered a long tank underneath and found it to still be a very cute lock. The knit is very soft but still thick making it a perfect sweater for a cooler day

Well made top with nice details on the sleeves. Great for work. Just needed a layer underneath.

I love the fabric and the print, however the sizing is really different. A size small is much smaller. If you see my picture, you can note that the shoulder is the way too narrow. It's better to get a sense of designer brand sizing. I guess Derek Lam closing runs much smaller than your typical European brand.

I have styled this top with a navy pencil skirt for work and jeans for the weekend. The arms are tight, but there is enough stretch that it is not uncomfortable, at least when you size up. This is a cropped top which would likely be too short for work for most. If you are petite, however, it works well with a high-waisted jeans or skirts.

Fit: This is truly a cropped sweater, you'll want high waisted jeans or pants to pair with it. Seems to fit a bit snug for a small - the arms were pretty tight and I'm not sure it would've fit if I had a bigger chest. Pros: Pattern is classic and professional. The navy looks really sharp! My favorite detail was the split quarter sleeves, added a bit more of a feminine touch. Cons: A bit itchy. Could show skin if you don't have the right bottoms; it'll rise up on you when making movements.

This was a tad small on my shoulders, but not so small that I was uncomfortable at work. I paired with high waisted black jeans. If I rented again, I'd probably get the small.

I usually wear a size s, somestimes xs. This sweater did not fit over my head it was so small in size s I did like everything else about it though, will get in bigger size

I got the large and it's not a form fitting sweater but because I wanted to wear a long shirt under. Someone else wore it that way and I thought it looked cute. I've experimented with white, green and blue shirts under it and they all look great. The sleeves are slightly flared and actually split underneath. Love them, again because it's fun but not too much that I can't use my hands or eat without getting food dragged by the sleeves.

I have been eying this sweater for months waiting for it to be available in my size! I am normally a S or XS.... but both were WAY too small. I went with the medium. Honestly, I could have even gone with the large. It's definitely cropped, but I layers with a white button down underneath. It looks very professional! Highly recommend this! Just size up!

I love this sweater! So easy to wear! Unfortunately as the weather is getting warmer I only got to wear it a couple times before returning. I sized up to a L as others said and found that appropriate...I'm a pretty typical M. Fit is cropped. The armholes are kind of strange - They didn't line up with my armpits so I felt like I was pulling them whenever I moved my arms around if that makes sense. Not sure if that is due to broad shoulders or what, but if you have larger arms then this sweater may fit strangely or even be uncomfortable even if you do size up. It is a little itchy too. Overall I really liked it though, very effortless and cool, while also work appropriate with the right bottoms!
