I have what I affectionately referred to as linebacker shoulders and thick upper arms. I usually have a hard time fitting into designer clothes in my own size because they are usually cut much smaller. I sized up in this coat but ultimately found that to be unnecessary. It was really roomy. But warm!!

I literally wear it with everything! Debating purchasing it.

Love the coat and I'll keep it for a few days. It does run a little over sized so next time I will rent a smaller size.

I rented this coat for a trip to Paris--wanted to try out the oversized trend and it ended up being even better than I expected! This coat is not practical--the pockets aren't real, which is annoying and I kept reaching for the flaps to try to drop my phone in--there's only one button which means you're either buttoned or not, no in between look--and the oversized factor means it's not actually super warm because air can reach up inside the coat. The single button also contributes to it not being very warm. I would have been interested to see what a smaller size might have done in terms of warmth. Despite all of those minor annoyances, the coat just looks amazing. I loved turning up the collar around my scarf to shield my neck from the wind, and the felted wool is quite rain-repelling. So if you're going for pure style, rent it. If you want style + warmth + pockets, this is probably not your coat.

I borrowed this coat for a vacation trip. I wanted something that looked nicer on a cold day than my typical everyday coat. It was pretty warm, but not quite enough when it dropped below 30. Looks great though!

Beautiful charcoal grey mid length. Reminded me of a stadium coat with oversize lapels and button. Runs large so size down, but a classy look on a cold day.

The fit is rectangular and roomy. Not suitable for weather below 45 degrees F.

Nice coat but really big! Returning it without wearing it. Ordered a 6 but I'd go 2 sizes smaller to a size 2 if I try it again.

I didn't wear the coat due to the exaggerated detailing--very wide and high lapels, wide and high pocket flaps. The flaps hit at waist level and went entirely across the front. Fit is baggy. Color is gray not black.

Was WAY too big. Didn't even wear it once.

I have worn this 4 different days now and it is the perfect fit. Great for a casual daytime look, or to wear out at night to dinner. Love it and will rent again!

I've had this coat since before the holidays and it's so great. I think it's comfy, trendy and actually very warm. It seems to go with everything and I keep thinking I'll trade it in but I can't seem to give it up.

This style runs large but I was ok with that since we need to wear heavy sweaters here. Great for everyday wear.

Like wearing a soft, warm, blanket. Nice big pockets to keep hands warm.

Box-y and large. I normally wear a 12 and probably could've gotten a 10 or 8 and still had it fit large. Great style. Got lots of compliments. Very warm.

Yes it runs large. But I love it. Makes me feel up to date and vey stylish. All of the coats I own are size 8, tried size 6 but had to return for a size 4. I just might buy this coat.

I rented a few winter coats this year and this one was hands-down the best. It was warm (and it gets cold here!) and has a great collar that can pop up for a great wind block. Looks stylish and elegant but is also comfortable and easy to wear. Almost bought it.

Loved the cool girl look of this coat.. I lived in it all winter, dinners out in heels and running around during the day with sneakers.

Great for winter in the South, but might not be warm enough for cooler climates. Very stylish and roomy. One complaint (if a had one) is that if you have a larger chest, those pockets flap are going to sit right underneath it, which is a strange design choice.

Love this coat, but like most people have said it runs large. I would size down 1 maybe even 2 sizes.

Fit True to Size

Definitely runs LARGE. I would normally get a size 8, but after reading reviews I got a size 6 to be safe. The 6 is still big, but I like an oversized look. Definitely something to keep in mind! It looks good with everything and keeps you super warm. If you are in cold weather I would recommend wearing a scarf with it though since the front is lower. Definitely recommend and have kept it for longer than I planned and will rent again.

I wore this for 10 days in France in the early winter and it was perfect with a few layers underneath. It's more grey than it appears online but it's a really great dark, neutral grey. I definitely could have sized down, it was still quite large in the shoulders, even with a sweater underneath. The coat was pretty bulky but, styled well, it worked nicely. The button & pocket flap detail are positioned perfectly to give the illusion of shape yet still hid all the croissants and cheese I had while wearing it. Would recommend!

Beautiful, high quality coat! It can be dressed up or down, love unlimited because I'm holding on to this for awhile!

It's a beautiful jacket and I am going to keep it for a little bit but I wish I would have rented a small rather than a medium because it is rather roomy.

Fit was a little oversized so fit very comfy over lighter jacket, sweater or anything. Collar looked great down and was very functional to keep warm in colder temps

This coat is pretty stylish for being charcoal and wool. The cut is unique and it tends to run large. It is designed make its own silhouette and some may complain that it is not flattering on them in the way of not showing curves. I think this is part of the design. It has a big button that is actually used to fasten the coat closed and there are big side pockets and faux pocket covers along the side of the coat. I wore this coat everyday and will wear to an office holiday party so it can be dressed up or down. It is really hard to decide to send back or buy it. I am really starting to like it. I do use a gentle brush to keep it looking nice as all wool coats need from time to time.

Looks just like picture - nice fabric - no shape....just kind of hangs on you.... But it grows on you.... SUPER easy to get in and out of because the armholes are big. You don't feel "trapped" and cozy like a blanket

Very comfy coat, lightweight and warm enough for a 40 degree day. Would definitely recommend wearing something heavier underneath on a super cold day since there's a lot of room for cold air to sneak in! My favorite things are the large deep pockets, which are on the side and not on the top where the flaps are sewn in, so much easier! Will definitely rent again!

I loved the material and the large statement button. For warmth it was so boxy that it allowed the wind in, so not a great choice for windy Denver.

If you are hoping to smuggle a friend into a concert, cover up the toddler in your Bjorn, or really get your money's worth at a buffet, this is the coat for you! It's a nice weight, nice charcoal color and good design - but trust me when I tell you to order a size - or two - down on this one!
