Great dress. Cut fairly low; shows quite a bit of cleavage - I wore a camisole/slip.

I wore this on a extremely hot and humid day. It felt like I was wearing next to nothing however this dress covers nicely and is not too short. I loved this dress and would consider purchasing it!

Fun & Flirty - great dress for the races. This was a perfect fit - the patchwork, multi-layers & stretch to the fabric - made it easy to wear for the day. The different shades of blue were a great match to my hat, purse & shoes. Loved it!!! I'm just under 5' and was happy with the length. I would definitely rent this again.

The fabric is great and the cut is flattering--extremely comfortable and the flow of the bottom portion made it fun to wear. I wore it to work and when I went out with girlfriends on the weekend. Great design!

This dress is adorable and flattering and a little unconventional - it's pretty much perfect. The fit is great - there is ample room in the chest and waist and the flared skirt hangs just right. Ok, so there's a little bit of a visible bra strap issue as you can see in my picture, but given the overwhelming positives, I'm giving that a pass (also I don't happen to care). One thing to note is that the dress is unlined, though not at all see-through, so it might start getting chilly when autumn sets in (though I have a moto jacket that's a perfect match). Two thumbs way way up!

This is a really beautiful, unique dress. I put off renting it for a while because it doesn't look all that special in the photos, but the way it drapes in person makes it really unique. I love all of Derek Lam's designs for this reason. I guess my only issue was that it was a bit snug in the bust, but I wear a 34/36DD. It was still wearable, it just pulled a little. I thought about keeping it, but everyone will remember it!

I wore this dress to The Night of Broadway Stars to raise money for Covenant House. The dress was very comfortable and dressed up nicely with a nice pair of shoes. Love how the dress holds your bra strap so you don't have to worry about it sticking out. Could have gone with a 4, which I usually wear.

This dress was perfect for hot weather! It's loose fitting and breezy, but doesn't make you feel like you're wearing a tent. The scarf hem is lovely.

The dress fits pretty true to size, I got a 6 since the 4 wasn't available, but bc the dress is flows it doesn't look too big. I was happy that I was able to wear this dress a few times while having it, for a date night and for work. I would recommend this dress and may rent again!

I wore this dress to Preakness (the horse races). I typically wear a 4, but reviews said it runs large so I ordered a size 2 and 4 "just in case". The dress fits and hangs/flows loosely, so don't expect it to "fit". The material enables it to arrive and remain wrinkle-free. The threading on my particular dress is starting to fray in some places, so you can tell it's a popular dress... but it wasn't very noticeable unless you're looking for it. The colors are lovely making it an easy dress to match (shoes, bag, jewelry, hats, wraps, etc). The patchwork is unique and I received many compliments. I'd totally rent this dress again, although my husband thinks I should buy it. This was my first rental with Rent the Runway. The overall process was so simple, and the product I received was in good condition, that I look forward to having another event where I can rent from here again.

I wore this dress to an outdoor nighttime fundraiser event. It fit just as pictured in the photos -- generally loose and flowy, but fitted enough through the waist and bust to be flattering. I also could wear a regular bra with it, which is always a nice plus.

I was so excited to receive this dress! Initially I ordered a size 4, and size 6 for back up, but after reviewing the measurements and fit photos of other's, I decided to go for a back up 2 instead. I'm so glad I switched last minute, because the 4 felt slightly loose in an uncomfortable way- it was looser in the waist and bust area and made me look wider. The 2 fit perfectly! Very flattering silhouette and lightweight silk fabric. I wore a regular nude bra underneath, and it was fine- not sheer at all. I rented the dress for a family party, but think it could transition to daywear easily if paired with cute, casual flats or sandals!

This dress is true to size. I am top heavy and the ladies just fine. It did not cut into you under the arm. The material is very light weight. I was able to wear my standard bra and underwear with this dress. I love that you dress it up or make it casual.

I really loved the fabric of this dress, it was super light weight and the pattern is perfect for spring! The dress creates a unique asymmetrical angle with the ruffle in the front. You can wear a standard bra with this dress which is a plus. If you are between a A and a C cup bust this is a great option for you! I would recommend simple jewelry and a heel that is over 3 inches depending on how tall you are.

This dress was perfect for a hot summer day. It's unlined silk (but not at all see through) and effortlessly cool. I gave it 4 stars because while it fit perfectly in the body it was definitely squishing my chest but didn't have the structure for me to go without a bra.

The photos don't do this dress justice - it looks best when walking. The vertical ruffle and asymmetric hem create visual interest. Also extremely comfortable. I'll likely rent this again as the weather heats up this summer. Highly recommended.

I rented this dress for an upcoming beach vacation and think it will be perfect for that. The fabric is very light 100% silk, the dress is unlined, and its shape is very flowy. It has a zipper in the back, but it is easy to get in and out of the dress with the zipper closed. I am usually a size 10-12 with RTR (158 lbs, 5'7", 36C) and this dress fit perfectly in size 12. Therefore, I would say this dress runs true to size. The only cons are that this dress is very short (at 5'7", I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this in a city, but fine at a beach location) and that it doesn't have straps to hold the bra straps in place.

Received this dress with unpleasant dry clean odor. This dress is a bit large to me but I am very petite so i am sure it will fit perfectly to others. I am not a big fan of this patterns but my friends all love it. The cutting is special and lovely. Perfect length and you can dress it up or down easily.

The material was breezy and fun. It fit comfortably; the length was above my knee except for fringe hanging down on right side. Appropriate for everywhere. A few unsolicited compliments, but it was not a wow on me. I wore it several times, though.

This would be perfect for the summer. Fabric is very light. It is certainly more causal, than dressy. It was cute enough, but not spectacular. The cut was very forgiving for my pear shape.

Loved this dress so much I ended up buying it in a different color from the clearance section. I love the tiered skirt it adds a fun flirty ruffle. The fabric is light but structured.

The fit of this skirt is great - it is fitted around the torso and waist and has some swing in the skirt - very comfortable! The patchwork pattern of the fabric makes this dress really interesting and different than your standard summer dress. Many compliments!
