It arrived without the shirt, but I added a black leather jacket on top to create a more edgy look. Fit and length were perfect on my petite frame.

My parents and I went to see Paul McCartney in concert for my mom's birthday, so she and I rented dresses for the occasion. After reading the reviews I went with a 2 (I usually wear a 2 or a 4) and it fit perfectly. I started off wearing the top shirt and by the end of the night held it, which ended up acting as a second accessory. I paired it with oxblood booties and minimalist jewelry. It was so comfortable and chic--I would definitely rent again!

Photos do not do justice to the fun and flare of this dress. It is a winter white and I rented it in Unlimited. I liked it so much I wore it for multiple different occasions. Turns out this dress is very lucky for winning sales contracts! The first time I wore it was for my sister's bachelorette party in Temecula wine country. It was light and the fabric great and breezy for the 95+ temps. Then I wore it to a work event and got lots of compliments. Then I wore it to a sales call, got the sale and a compliment on the dress. Wore it to another sales call and got the sale. The dress can be dressed up or down. I pared it with nude heels. Big fan of this dress and highly recommend it for any occasion!

Must rent! I absolutely loved this Derek Lam style and I definitely plan on renting again. I am typically a size 4/6 and decided to go with the size 6 since it is already an over sized fit. It fit great and there was still comfortable room throughout the bust and hips. I chose to pair it with a leather jacket and booties and did not wear button down blouse that comes with it, however I loved the look with it as well. Perfect for a casual night out!

The perfect clean cut dress with a bit of flair and a quick way to layer. I love the asymmetrical pleating and the soft material. It runs true to size with room in the bust, waist, and hips. At 5'7" it hit about mid-thigh. Pair it with neutral sneakers or heeled boots and a light bracelet for an effortless look.

Though I'm usually a 4-6, ordered the 2 & 4 because I was worried it would look too casual & oversized. The 2 wasn't available so I had to wear the 4, which fit great in the chest. Mine did not come with the button up shirt. I was a little disappointed upon seeing it on the hanger, but was actually pretty happy with the finished look. Nothing special up top, but great way to show off the legs. Hem not as drastically asymmetrical or fitted as in the model photo. Material is breezy but heavy duty, which is exactly what you want with a white dress. One thing that kind of turned me off is the one I was sent had obviously been worn quite a bit (which is to be expected) but the entire edge of the chiffon pleating where it attaches to the midsection was completely frayed, strings everywhere... so much so that I was second-guessing if it was supposed to have a fringe belt-look. It was an easy, pretty dress for a summer work event, and really easy to accessorize (that Rebecca Minkoff Leo Clutch is a RTR rental as well--amazing), but for the price ($90 at the time), I don't think I would rent this one again.

This dress had a ton of detail with it and great variation. You can wear to open, closed or without the blouse. It's very unique so I got a lot of compliments on it! The fit is kinda weird (not large/small, just different) but it goes with the overall uniqueness of the dress.

Love this dress. I got it in one of my Unlimited rotations and wore it to work one day. It is a fresh combination of feminine, gauzy materials with menswear tailoring and sophisticated proportion (i.e., oversized and boxy). I would've given this a 5 but a button randomly popped off so the construction could be better.

Beautiful, dress. I needed something a little business-party like. This worked. I usually wear a 4 in dresses due to bust size. I wore a size 2 due to the generous fit in the waist and hips. The bust was a little snug in the 2, but the 4 was just too large in the hips. I think this would really look nice on someone with more curves than I.

So easy to throw on and still look "styled" for a special night out! This set is even better in person than online.

Seriously took me from playground to work and to fancy restaurant meals. The layered look gives it a casualness but the fabric is so elegant. It does wrinkle easily. I had to re-position the layers when attaching my car seat belt.

The dress is cute on its own, and can be paired with other tops. I skipped the top because it was too big for my frame, but the dress worked beautifully with a sweater, so I left the top at home.

The top was big and the hip area was slightly clingy. I'm bigger in the hips, so this wasn't shocking. I only wore the top to work, otherwise wore the sleeveless dress alone for going out. Will def rent again.

This is such a unique outfit. I really love how it's a two piece with different details on the dress that make it look like it took a long time and thought to get ready, but just takes a second to put on. I wore this for a work function and then on a different night for dinner with friends. It's very sophisticated, comfortable, and I got many compliments.

My dress was sleeveless, which is not how the dress appears in the photo. I loved the a-line skirt. It is perfect for a dinner at the beach!

I wore this dress in Paris for a few meetings I had on a hot day. It was perfect. I was wavering between wearing the 2 or 4. I liked the way they both fit. the 4 was definitely roomy, but on hot summer days it could be quite comfortable. The dress appears that you are wearing 2 pieces. I wore the shirt part closed with the top few buttons unbuttoned. I got many complements as the dress appears breezy, and pulled together for summer. It pairs well with flat sandals or a strappy sandal depending on where you are heading.

I didn't end up wearing it because it was too short, but it is so cute! The fabric is amazing and falls well. Just runs a little small through the chest and is definitely on the short side.

The fit runs large as it is a shift dress. That probably wouldn't have mattered had the dress actually arrived with the over shirt as it should have! Either way, I wore it with a cute jacket on top and it looked chic and easy.

First, this is a super cute dress. Very different in the hem line. Silk pleats, make it look fun and casual. I can tell that the dress has been cleaned many times. The white not as crisp as it should have looked but the saddest part is that it arrived without the overshirt. I still wore the dress with a sweater and tennis shoes. Received a great deal of compliments on it but in my opinion it would have been cuter with the overshirt.

I've rented this twice because I love it so much. It's the perfect summer wear-to-work dress. Unfortunately both times it was missing the over-shirt, which I thought would make it really unique, but it's still a great dress without.

The shirt and dress are detachable and I'm so glad they are! The shirt on top was not flattering at all. So instead I paired dress with a blazer as I loved the design and skirt. Probably would not rent again.

I ordered this through unlimited. I would have worn this, however I never actually received the dress, only the top. I will probably contact and see if they can try and send this again, because it looks really lovely. * Did receive on the second try, but didn't wear. It just hung very baggy on me. It didn't look as sleek as it does in the pictures for sure. Disappointed. I think on a very petite, slim frame it might work better.

It is true to fit, yet unfortunately looked a bit like a sack on me. Even without the layered shirt it is quite nice.
