I believe it's true to size. I went with 8 because it's all they had, but six is definitely my size

I had so much fun wearing this dress- it was interesting and different without being flashy or obnoxious. It was fully lined and very well- made- buttons and seams all lay smooth and was really easy to wear.

This is one of the most unique pieces I've rented. I have been waiting for it to be available for a long time and finally got to rent it in my size, and it was even better in person. The top is a light sheer layer, which hangs nicely. The overall dress is weighted and wears very well. The print is just too much fun! A must rent! Derek Lam does it again.

I thought it might be odd with the map print but I loved this dress. Sadly, the buttons gapped open and fashion tape could not solve the problem. So, I could not wear the dress. Hope to find this one available in a larger size.

This is an unusual and fun dress. I unfortunately returned without wearing because it really isn't great for petites. I am 5'2" and the waist hit me at the upper hip causing the button front to gape a bit (see the photo on the right). It is also very long.

Obsessed with this dress and if it wasn't so expensive I would definitely buy it!! It's flowy and you feel like a goddess when you wear it. I got endless compliments in it. A true fell-in-love item of clothing!! Will definitely rent again.

This dress has a great print. The fabric flows very nice and gives it a dressier appearance. The fabric has no stretch and the closures are all buttons, though. It was a snug fit so if you have any doubt size up and belt this. That said I did think it was true to size. I think it looks best with a belt (and also helps with errant button openings). It doesn't come with one bit I added my own. Great rental; been waiting forever to try and glad I finally did!

I have never received so many compliments in my life. Print is unique and conversation-starting, but still traditionally pretty, and the midi-length shritdress is a classic style. Details like the full lining, close-together buttons to avoid gapping, and frayed ruffling at the sleeves point to the high quality of the design. I am, however, always disappointed in a high-end garment made with synthetic (read: never decomposing, destined to fill the ocean with plastic particles) fabric as this is.

AMAZING! This dress truly is one of a kind, I wore to a wedding and again on vacation. Non stop compliments on both occasions, plus a great conversation piece! Runs a little loose in the waist, but that was easily solved with the addition of a thin leather belt to accentuate my waist. I did also have to safety pin between the buttons to eliminate the dreaded button gap (I'm 34E), but the pin was not visible and it instantly solved the gap issue. GO FOR IT--You will NOT regret this rental!

This dress is made of a high quality fabric that flows beautifully. It is lined. The waist has an interesting seam line -- it's normal on the front of the dress but then the seam dips down on the back of the dress. An interesting effect. This dress runs long, so if you are shorter -- I'm 5'5" -- be prepared for a longer look. Got compliments when I wore it... Would rent again.

Wore this dress for a travel conference and it was a HUGE hit, received endless compliments. Added a white belt which balanced the dress.

I don't think I've ever gotten more compliments on a dress before. This piece is naturally a conversation starter because it's unique, with a map of Italy (I think?) all over. The colors are beautiful and the material is so elegant and smooth. I didn't want to return it! It does run a little large, so I recommend either sizing down or adding a belt to cinch in the waist. Pretty fun to wear such a noticeable print all day. High quality. Great shape. Arms a little tight but manageable. Probably more appropriate for summer but I wore it with black tights which I think also worked.

I love this trendy dress by Derek Lam 10 Crosby! Running very true to size, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is a little loose throughout the midsection and room in the hips as well. It works for all cup sizes. You are able to wear a standard bra with this style. At 5’3”, the length hit a little above my ankles on me. The dress looks amazing in person. You can dress it up with a strappy heel or dress it down with cute flats.

LOVE the print and colors. Wore it 5x before sending back. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was the odd dropped waist seam had a hip-widening effect. Needs a skinny belt.

Loved this one so much I bought it. Amazing fun print, everyone I saw at work mentioned how cool it was. I wore it in the winter with a cream turtleneck sweater on the top and brown boots. I can't wait to wear it again and again.

This was my traveling dress even though I am stuck at home. The maps brought me joy and the drape of this dress was super flattering and made a fun little swish when I walked around. If you are looking for a dress to bring a smile, this is the one. Was tempted to make it my own...

I wore this to the office and got comments and compliments on it all day. This is definitely a dress you should wear if you want some eyes on you!

Second time renting - like this one - unique statement

If this billowed in the wind it'd make for some gorgeous pictures. Be prepared to be stared at. It's a long voluminous dress with a loud print. But the material itself felt like the rough kind of polyester not silky.

This is a perfect rental dress. It's very memorable yet not something I would want in my closet because no one would ever forget the last time I wore it. So many compliments. Extremely comfortable and flattering. Highly recommended, must rent!!

This dress in INCREDIBLE! I grabbed the 6 as it was all that was available and it was a little big but nothing that didn't look too crazy. The pattern is so fun I received so many compliments on this guy. For my shorter gals this was definitely nearly to the floor for me, but regardless I loved it!
