I loved this dress so I ended up wearing twice- to a wedding and to a holiday party. After gaining some holiday weight, I was not so confident with wearing a form fitting dress, but this dress was just perfect to feel comfortable yet stylish. It's not fitting around belly but there is a slight banding around waist so it gives nice shape to a dress after wearing it. The bottom of the dress is not flat as you can see. I felt like it somehow made my legs look nice. The details including fine gold lines or ruffles were perfect to make the dress a unique and elegant dress for a party or a wedding. I want to purchase or definitely rent it again.

I loved this dress. It was comfortable with just enough flare. The gold in the pattern along with the uneven hem made it stand out just enough. The buttons in the center did come undone, so you may want to give them a double check every once in a while.

I loved this dress! So comfortable and breezy. I rented it for work, but it was a bit sheer and the top gaped a bit, so it became a Saturday market outfit. Watch out for the wind, the skirt flies! Will rent again.

The gold stripes of this tiered black style makes it perfect for Fall! The waistband is stretchy, so you can size down for your backup size. There is plenty of coverage in the bust area, so this style is perfect for all bust sizes. The dress falls about mid-thigh on someone 5'8 and you can wear a standard bra.

It was cute and comfortable. The front felt a little unsecured because there are just two tiny clasps which leaves some open space and you can see some skin through. One of the clasps was loose and opened a couple times. Besides that it was a cute dress

This was a great dress for a 20s prohibition themed party. Fun, flirty, and comfortable. Definitely runs big and has some excess material at the hips, but overall a winner.

This dress is great if you want to hide a belly. I think it's best for larger bust as there is a lot of fabric up top. The waist is adjustable with a tie so it's very comfortable. The look is just ok. Needs to be dressed up with jewelry for anything formal.

I ordered this dress because I didn't have anything to wear that complimented my 4 months postpartum body for NYE. This dress was perfect and I felt great in it.

This dress is so easy to wear but is still very sexy. The front is basically open all the way to the waist with two hook/eye closures along the way. A bra would likely show and take away from the subtle peek-a-boo nature of the dress. I was fine with pasties. It was a little on the shorter side which might be something to consider if you'll be in a breezy environment. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

Loved the fit, the detail and the uneven hem. The slit in the front is a little sexy for all my family members at my rehearsal diner, but a little double sided tape fixed everything. Loved this dress -- even kept it longer and wore it on my honeymoon. Great choice!

I wore this with a lace bralette because the top bottom was gaping, so I just left it open. I could have worn the 8 but it wasn't availble so I wore the 6. Short, flirty skirt. I wore a rose gold bracelet to bring out the texture of the dress. Very cute for date night.

Love this dress, especially for hot weather--the fabric is light and loose so you feel like you've got nothing on. The top has just two little hooks keeping it shut in the front--it's more revealing than it seems in the photo, which I liked. It was flattering on my small bust. It has a kind of grungy feel because of the unfinished edges--I liked that, too, but it might not be good for a very formal event.

Comfortable and chic, I fell in love with this black and gold silk dress. Running true to size with room in the bust and an elastic waist, we recommend sizing down for backup. Near the neckline there is an optional snap closure to make the v-neck more or less intense, allowing you to easily wear a standard bra. At 5'7" the length was about mid-thigh. Looks great with delicate gold jewelry, a leather jacket, black tights and heeled boots.

Runs large. Note the from is open. You can not wear a normal bra and I also need to use tape to keep the dress in place.

This was a little on the large side but was a beautiful dress that could have been dressed up or down.

Cute dress but nothing special

I am 5.4 1/2, about 112 lbs, 34D, approx 34-26-35 and in my early 40s. I ordered the 0 and it fit well overall, but the elastic waistline hit a little higher than my natural waist (and I'm not particularly long-waisted). The skirt hit mid-thigh and the top was low-cut; probably too low for anything but a very casual office place. The hook-and-eye closure on the bodice left gaps and felt a little precarious, however, so I wore my own black, v-neck full slip underneath. I also wore a wide black belt to disguise the high waist. With heels and delicate gold jewelry, the dress felt perfect for a dinner with a bunch of fashionable friends on the patio of a scene-y restaurant. Note: the material feels like layers of light cotton and is shot with subtle stripes of gold thread.

I didn't end up wearing this dress, not because I didn't like it, but because I just felt like I wanted something with color. It was actually extremely comfortable because you can wear a bar. Although it would need to be a criss cross so the straps don't show. The front does have two hook closures, so you can see through where the fabric does not meet. That means you can see the bra from the front. That wasn't a big deal to me. This would fit well on any body type.

This dress was great for a wedding in July. The subtle gold details made it stand out from the other black dresses at the wedding. It was very light and comfortable with the July heat. Only issue I had with it was the closures in the front, I was unable to get part of it to stay over despite ironing, so I had a little bit of skin awkwardly showing. It was a huge hit, the bride complimented on it several times!

This fabric is much more casual than I expected! The cut of the dress it cute but, with the gold threading, I expected a slightly more polished special occasion look.

Didn't wear this dress because the fit of the top was so funky. It has a clasp closure and was really loose, so it looked a bit frumpy.

this dress was a shocking surprise, I have to say I did not expect this one at all, they replace this for the one that I pick and I want it so bad, however it's a good looking and cute dress for ladies who likes statement and edgy style go for this, is just not the rigth option if u are looking for perfect shape fit to show your curves, this is way far from that, i'll say this is perfect for slim ,tall girs.

Fabric looked cheap, send it back & fit wasn't flattering

The material was so much lighter than I expected. It was almost a linen. Also the front was cut so low in the chest area it was impossible to wear a bra and there were two eyelet clasps that didn't feel very secure. The picture looked like something I would wear to a rehearsal dinner but the actual dress felt more of a sun/beach dress
