On taller women this would be great as is, but for petites like me I highly recommend belting it. Lots of compliments!

This was actually a replacement for a dress that came damaged and I ended up loving it more than the original dress I’d chosen. I wore this to a 60th birthday party on a 90 degree evening in New Orleans. It’s flowy and loose, yet somehow so flattering. It’s the most comfortable dress I’ve ever worn! I loved the alternating lengths of the hem and how it gave the dress a little “something”. I’d definitely rent this again!

Love this dress wasn’t too firm fitting and perfect mix of looseness. Lots of fun to dance in. Wore twice to two weddings.

This dress was 90% perfect. It fit me perfectly in the body, but I have a big chest so it was way too tight across my chest and slightly pulled the keyhole. Luckily you couldn’t tell unless you were literally an inch from it. This was one of the backup dresses I picked when my first order didn’t fit, so I didn’t have my usual 8R and 10R on hand and took a chance on the 8R. I likely would have sized up only because of the chest. It felt so beautiful on, and I received a ton of compliments. Wore for a welcome party to a cocktail-attire wedding. Will definitely rent again with both sizes on hand!

Flattering, can wear a normal strapless bra with it or thick enough to go braless, and I received so many compliments

The dress fit true to size yet had room for comfort. I didn't have to suck anything in! Tons of compliments throughout the evening. The asymmetrical hemline was fun and the neckline very flattering. Lined, breathable, no bra needed, though a strapless would be fine.

This silky fabric is so soft and comfortable. I belted the dress for more of a form fit, but it is also beautiful and comfortable without a belt. The swing of the dress makes it very fun for dancing.

Absolutely loved this dress! I had a hard time finding a dress for my brother’s wedding in May. I tried on dozens, no joke, but all seemed to fall short. So I decided to try rent the runway and picked out this dress. I couldn’t have been happier with the style, quality and fit; the silhouette is forgiving, so easy to wear in whatever size you are. Highly recommend it!

The satin-like fabric and varied, ruffled hemline made this dress extra special. I received lots of compliments at the vineyard wedding I attended. I wish RTR had included the belt, though, as I think a little more definition might have been nice. Still, it was comfortable and fun to swing in on the dance floor.

I wore it with the belt, but it made to look loose & unpretentious , rich fabric, don't wrinkles, interesting bottom angles, loved it! High heels must!

This is a $700 dress and it shows, great quality. Beautiful fabric and tailoring. Comfortable. Unique. Good for tall. Images of this dress retail all show it comes with a matching fabric belt. I liked it without though (mine didn't come with belt and it didn't have any belt loops).

The dress is comfortable, can be worn without a bra if you are C cup or less, and can be worn "backwards," as others have noted. But the hemline is odd. I’m not sure why, but there is a square piece that hangs down in front and back, and looks unattractive. I took a photo with an exaggerated stance to demo. It's noticeable when you walk, because the dress has ruffles with contrasting stitching at the bottom. It's not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of.

I love this summer dress by Derek Lam 10 Crosby! Running true to size , I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going down for your back up. This style is loose fitted in and gives you a summer look for any occasion. It works best for all cup sizes and can be worn with a strapless . At 5’2”, the length stops me at tea length and with beige or black color pair of heels and with a nice clutch this will complete your outfit!

It fits longer for 5'2" but did not drag on the floor. It felt more formal.

Loved this dress! Lightweight and silky material made it perfect for packing, and it was super comfortable and a fun design. It seemed a tiny bit large in the torso, but otherwise fit perfectly.

I really liked this dress a lot. Wore it to a fundraiser event that was outside with gold heeled sandals. I'm 5'6", 153lbs, athletic build and wore the 6, after feeling the 8 was a little too loose. Great for all body types and overall, a nice summery dress! Light weight fabric.

The 2R dress fit just right (although it could have a little more space around the chest) and the fabric is good quality + dress is well made but the overall shape is very weird, even though it seems to be intentional…

Wanted to love it. The dress is gorgeous but it was too tight across my 34DD bust. It didn’t accentuate my curves and I ended up not wearing. For larger busts, maybe size up and plan to wear a belt?

The pattern is pretty but this didn't fit me right. It was too tight across the shoulders.

The dress would be great on someone with a smaller chest that can go without a bra. Like the fabric and design, but it looked tenty and too oversized to be flattering for me.
