At first look, it's easy to pass by this dress: average cotton lace, slight flair skirt, v-neck. However, I'm happy I finally tried it on! The fabric is breathable yet sturdy and the construction is well done. The fit reminds me of something Khaleesi would wear: flirty v-neck, sporty princess seam bodice, feminine utilitarian skirt. It's a solid work dress but you won't be dying to wear it out afterwards.

Sweet dress with a lace material. Low cut in the front. Cautious if you are large busted. Lots of compliments, and just a pretty black dress.

This dress has amazing textured detail. It does run small, however, so definitely size up. It's great for any cup size though and has comfortable room in the bust. It's loose in the waist and hips, although fabric has no stretch. It's about mid thigh length and can be worn with any standard bra.

LOVE this dress - the second I tried it on I loved how it looked. The top is a little low but nothing too terrible. I was worried it may run small, but I found it to fit true to size! The material is light and great for summer.

This one was absolutely adorable! I needed one size smaller however. I chose to wear my first pick dress. I will definitely try this one again in a smaller size. It's very flattering to the smaller bust but needs to be ore fitted for the smaller waists. It's perfect for cocktail parties!

This dress is beautiful, the perfect little black dress! However, I am a 36F bra size and this dress crushed my chest and looked silly, so I couldn't wear it. I'm also very narrow in my hips, so the dress was a little baggy there, but I could have gotten away with it if it fit my chest properly.

I rented this dress last minute after none of my initial choices fit, and this was the only style available in the store in my size. I initially thought it was pretty plain but I dressed it up with jewelry and a wrap and got lots of compliments. The v neckline is fairly deep but was perfectly appropriate for my husband's work party.

I needed an emergency dress to replace a dress I had ordered but that became unavailable. This was the only dress that even came close to fitting and even though it seemed a bit casual for an evening wedding, I went with it and accessorized with sparkly gold shoes and jewelry and a gold silk wrap. It worked out great. Good for warm weather only.

The dress ran small. It fit well in the bust area but was large everywhere else. I was between sizes. I was in a bind and did not have time to exchange so I wore it anyway. The lace and black were very flattering and made up for the slightly larger waist.

Really nice dress, but the front had a pretty low cut and I was a little self-conscious about showing my cleavage at work haha. Probably more appropriate for a cocktail party. :)

This is a cute dress but was not formal enough for the occasion. It's a low v-neck and figure flattering. It runs a little large which was nice for covering up extra weight in the midsection.

I really liked the fabric of this dress...it's actually constructed with a bunch of triangular panels, which is a nice detail and elevates it from being a basic black lace dress. My only complaint is that the neckline is slightly gappy...I had to use some double-sided dress tape to get it to stay down and not show my bra, which didn't hold up for the entire day.

Very pretty dress - not too tight around the abdomen. I love the decolage - it does not reveal too much and does not require a safety pin the way the Diane von Fusternberg wrap dresses do (for me, at least). I do wish Derek Lam made the dresses a bit longer - I always rent for work, and I'm always self-conscious when the dress is too short.

I thought this would be a great winter dress with tights and boots, but the material is actually pretty thin. It was also pretty low-cut, so I'd be hesitant to wear it to work if I worked in a conservative office.

fit great if it were 3 inches longer. As it was, it did not even cover my rear.
