Rented for a formal / Black tie work holiday party. As other reviewers noted it does hug all curves but is super flattering. Length is conservative and so is the high neck so you need to be comfortable wearing a lot of material - a lot of sequence! I felt warm in the dress most of the night as it's quite heavy so not a good rental if you plan to dance a lot. Difficult to walk in because the dress is restrictive and you can't take long steps. It was perfect for my occasion but maybe not a wedding or somewhere you'd want to dance. Also I got caught on other dresses with sequence in crowded areas. Sort of funny.

Worn to a work event. I was a bit bloated due to it being "that time of he month" but it still fit well enough, slightly tight. Arms were long enough. I loved the length - just past the knee, so work appropriate. I'd def rent it again.

The only con is the funky zipper...a little hard to do alone. This dress is a winner! Fits true to size. Gives in all the right places. Comfortable and chic. I heard tons of compliments all night.

Fit like a glove without being too snug. I have a large chest (32 G) and this dress made me look well proportioned. You will likely need an extra hand with the zipper that goes diagonally across the back. My favorite thing was that it was lined so the sequins did not scratch me. Will rent again!

The sideways zipper gives it some extra waste synch. I felt like a Hollywood star.

I was the first to get this dress, it still had the original tag on it! It came at 6pm which is when my event was, thank goodness it fit and I loved it! The ruching on this dress is very flattering. I wore shapewear for a little more structure but you could wear it without it. This dress will accentuate all your curves. You cant tell from the photo, but the zipper actually starts at the left hip and comes up to the right shoulder, creating ruching in all the right places. The length is good, even for my being as tall as I am. It is tight around the legs, you have to take smaller steps and it makes going to the restroom a tad challenging but doable. I would definitely rent this dress again. The sequins are stunning. I would recommend wearing your hair completely up because it does cause some extra tangling.

This was a backup dress I got when my original order was unavailable. I didn't end up wearing this dress to the wedding because of a few issues. The fit in the waist and hips was great but the shoulders were way too wide and the sleeves too long. There were no petite sizes so this may have been the issue. It's a very heavy dress so probably best worn during colder months.

The quality of the dress is beautiful and it hugs curves well. But it did nothing to flatter my chest and the mid length was oddly conservative. My husband described it as a "sequined trash bag" - not the look I was going for. I didn't wear it. I would advise those with larger busts to proceed with caution.

I wore this to a political gala, and received compliments all night. I does have a weird asymmetrical zipper though, which was a little tricky trying to get into without help. Otherwise, I plan on ordering this dress again for another event.

Very well made dress. (Others write about the diagonal zipper but the dress is made on a bias cut and it was fine for me.). Fit well. Seems like it would be best for y'all, curvaceous women. Appropriate cut for a work-related formal event and the sequins make it sexy.

This dress is true to size. There is a great deal of stretch throughout the fabric, however, it has a slim fit, overall. I thought I would wear the size 6, however, the 8 was perfect. The pictures do not do this dress justice. I got so many compliments that night, and it provided the right amount of glamour and sass for a work related charity event. This was a great rental and I would suggest to anyone.

This dress represents the true meaning of "rent the runway." When I saw this dress I immediately knew I wanted it for an after five affair, but I didn't get it because of the rental price. But after my original dress wasn't available to make it to me in time, I was able to get this dress for the same price. From the moment I arrived at the event , I was showered with compliments. Folks just kept saying, "flawless, flawless!" You just knew this was not your average dress. It really did have that designer look and feel and I enjoyed wearing it. This was a size 12. My backup dress was a size 10, and they both fit me the same. So one might say it ran slightly small, but because I'm smaller on top, it was slightly loose at the top, but hugged my hips. The sleeves were very long and I had to tuck in about 2-3 inches. The zipper goes from the back of left hip across the back to the right shoulder to give the ruched effect. The dress isn't heavy, but it's thick fabric, so it's not a summer dress. If it were mine, it would now be stored until next holiday season once it cools off again. I don't have many negatives to say. It was an interesting length. It hit me mid- calf. Although it could've been shorter I think that particular length added something special to the dress because it was different. The sequins added so much sparkle, but they were very smooth and didn't grab on to my hair or the chairs or anything. Overall I gave it five stars. No regrets!!

Amazing dress! Form fitting but not uncomfortable, danced the night away! As others have mentioned, the zipper is different as the seam isn't straight down the back. The seam starts at your right shoulder and runs diagonal across your left hip and makes its way to the front of the dress. The zipper goes from your left hip to your right shoulder so it is tricky to get without help.

So didn't get to wear because we canceled our Halloween ball plans to watch Cubs game, but it was still stunning and will order again.

FIT - Very very tight and clingy, like a tube top, from bust all the way down to mid thigh. If you would be comfortable wearing a bikini, then you would be comfortable wearing this. SIZE - I usually wear a 10, and sometimes 8 or 12, and the 12 was still much too tight for my taste. Bra - Dress can be worn with a regular bra, and regular undergarments. Quality - The dress is stunning! Gorgeous. Looks very elegant and well made. Was in great condition. WISH it had fit me!

I had high hopes for this dress but it did not work on my frame. I'm 5'4, 160 lbs and it was way too long. Not flattering at all. It was well made, however, and would be great for someone taller. Returned without wearing.

This was a back up dress bc my original choice wasn't available in my size. Considering that this dress is more expensive I was really disappointed when I tried it on. It's simply a black sequin sheath dress with a bizarre slanted zipper in the back. The cut is not necessarily all that flattering and I found the same to be true for the length. I wouldn't rent this dress again.
