Dress fit great, wore it for a black tie wedding before Christmas time and received many compliments throughout the night. The dress has a slip-type component underneath that you can't see from outside, but I think is flattering.

This was a replacement dress, because my original selection wasn't returned on time. I was really concerned about the length because I'm only 5'4", but Talia convinced me that I would be fine with my almost 3" wedges. She was absolutely right! This dress was so fun to wear and fit in perfectly at the beach wedding I attended. I had some trouble getting it zipped as it was a little more than snug around the chest. I think I could have sized up to a medium although once I got the small on it was perfect. No bra required. FYI - the other red dress two people to the left is also a Rent the Runway knockout!

This dress had a great light fabric, it was slightly long for me and I needed to hold it up when I walked to keep from getting caught. Overall this elegant dress is VERY slenderizing - I received compliments the entire night!

I originally rented a different dress that was damaged beyond repair and was told to pick another dress from the site. I'm very much a planner and totally FREAKED OUT! With the help of Lindsay A. we picked this GORGEOUS dress! I was so happy when it arrived and fit great! I'm short (5'2 and 3/4" - I round up to 5'3") and I wore 2.5/3 inch heels and still had to pick the dress up when I walked or dance. But other than that the fit was amazing! You will need help zipping up the dress just because of where the zipper is. I can't wait to rent again!!

Great new black tie or formal option! The dress is a very easy fit! The top/bust area is stretchy but I wouldn't recommend renting if you are larger than a C cup. I felt as though I needed to adjust my bust a little bit. The zipper also seemed as though it wasn't going to zip because of the structure of the dress but then easily zipped and was very comfortable! I would recommend going with your true size (XS, S, M and L). I would size down if you are very small up top, as it is not very fitted on the bottom. and I would recommend sizing up if you are larger on the top. Great red! Perfect, light material! I wore about 4 1/2" heels!

This dress is a beautiful red. It's also very comfortable, which is a plus for a gown. I'm 5'2 though, and the dress was quite long on me, even with 3 inch heels. And due to the material, hem tape didn't work on it, so I spent most of the evening holding up the dress. Overall, however, very elegant and easy to wear. I got a lot of compliments!

I found myself between the small-regular & the medium-regular. The small was a better fit everywhere but the bust. In the medium, I felt like my body was swimming, but in the small, I had the classic "above the rim" pudge at the top of the dress near my underarms.. i went for the small, and pushed the strappy bits to the sides -- looked like it was meant to be that way, and worked as camoflage! Also, it is rather long -- even with heels, I needed to use fashion tape to take it up a good 2 inches -- and still stepped on the dress alot while dancing.. but who cares? that's what insurance is for!

I opted to pay extra for a second style. RTR called three days before my event to tell me that one of the styles I ordered was returned from the previous renter in unwearable condition. The customer service rep, Hannah, was kind and efficient and she let me know I could choose any other style in it's place. I chose this one. In the end, I did not choose to wear this dress to my event. I ordered a small and a medium. The color is true to the website and it's stunning. I also love the funky draping and straps on the front of this dress. It felt both elegant and fun. But this dress was definitely not for me. Both the small and the medium were somewhat tight in the elastic around the chest which resulted in a pinched look (you can kind of see this in the straight on photo). I'm not large chested, so I would definitely not recommend this for someone who is. The draping in the front of the dress would definitely disguise a tummy. I don't have to worry about that too much (yet), and so I felt it made my body look a little larger than it is. Also, the dresses were very long and the material was clingy around my legs. I am 5'5" and had on 5" heels. Walking in both the small and the medium, I felt like the fabric was not flowing out in front of me when I took a step and I felt like I was going to get tangled and slip. Last, my gramma has always said that you should look just as good going as you do coming. The back of this dress didn't wow me. A friend of mine with a slimmer waist tried on the small and felt that it accentuated her hips in an unflattering way. The zipper on this dress is extremely tight. I was so paranoid about ripping it, that I just slid in and out of the dress with it zipped. Overall the color and draping on this dress are beautiful, but there were some style points that I felt didn't make it right for me.

The dress is really long. I am 5'2 and had on 5 inch heels and I had to keep holding it so I would not fall. So if you are tall it will work. It is a show stopper.

The top stretches, but is probably best for someone with a smaller bust because you tend to spill out a bit and it can be somewhat unflattering. It is not very long; at 5'7" I couldn't wear heels with it, which I didn't mind but some might.

The dress fit perfectly, however due to the nature of the jersey fabric it grew throughout the evening and became a nuisance to manage while dancing.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress, but I was bummed that such a nice dress had such a cheap zipper in it. I ordered the small and the medium. I tried on the small and it fit perfectly (though the zipper did not zip smoothly at all. Like it was out of sync or something) so I didn't even try on the medium. I took it off to have my hair done, then when I went to put it back on, as I zipped it, the zipper split from the bottom up. I was already a few minutes late to the event (which I was chairing) so I quickly put on the medium, but it was way too big and didn't look good at all. So, thankfully, my beloved hairstylist spent the next nearly 30 minutes pinning me into the dress. I missed nearly the entire cocktail hour of the event, but I guess that allowed me to make an entrance! I got loads of compliments on the dress and the color was a true standout. The fabric is extremely light and delicate. Overall it was lovely. I just wish DK had put a better zipper in it! Then I could have made it to my entire event! :)

Beautiful dress, awkward fit. I rented a small and medium, but was called the day before it was supposed to come that the medium was damaged so couldn't be sent. I received the small and couldn't even get it to zip it was so tight at the top. It was also short and wouldn't have looked good with any type of heel. Because of the fit I would not rent this again, even in the larger size.

This dress runs small and the fabric is really thin. I am not heavily endowed, but the chest still much too tight. I am thankful that I only ordered this as my backup dress.
