I got a lot of compliments on the dress and felt beautiful.

Clings to your body, but the material is very forgiving… no spanx needed.

Comfy and Stylish

It is a very comfortable dress to wear. I suggest wearing spanks or somthing that will not show lines. I was a little concerned about wearing a dress made of jersey material to a Gala but I got so many compliments on it. The style and cut makes up for the material.

This dress was super flattering and had a great cut, but the material was casual.

I loved the way this dress fit. The cut was amazing, and the color was great. The material was jersey, think t-shirt. So, as long as you are in an enviroment where that goes, I would highly recommend this dress.

Pretty but not formal

This is a lovely dress with a deep dramatic color. The fit is good, covers the ladies nicely up top and pulls in the waist. The main issue is the fabric, which is a thin stretchy cotton that feels (and looks) like a nightgown. And therein lies the problem. It does not look like a black tie gown, because of the informal material, and I felt somewhat out of place in a sea of satin and lace and sheen. Also, b/c it is so thin, it shows every single bulge and crease, either from spanx or your natural curves. Holds nothing in at all. In sum, it's a pretty dress, and maybe good for a wedding party where you want to look dramatic, but I wore it to the White House Correspondents Dinner and would not do so again. Also WAY too expensive for what it is.

It was NYE in Chicago!

The dress was very long but comfortable. I should've gone with the regular length.

Lovely dress, 2nd choice, didn't wear it

It would have been a nice dress to wear if the other one didn't work out. Lovely draping and color is very vibrant, but would need to add some good jewelry to really make it a standout. A very comfortable dress to wear, but I only had one party that weekend.

Dress with an identity crisis

I ordered this as a backup dress for a wedding. It fit well and is flattering (my boyfriend liked it) but it's like a beachy jersey material with an evening gown cut and I could not reconcile the two, at all. Just like a short sleeved turtleneck sweater, it's hard to find the right occasion to wear this. Much too formal for brunch or day time running around in flip-flops, in my opinion, but the jersey material really seemed to preclude me from being able to wear it to a wedding. Also, when the dress came, it wasn't blue but bright purple. Not sure if that was a mistake on RTR part or if I missed something. However, the dress gets three stars because it fits really well, and truly is super flattering. So maybe we can look past the fabric for that reason... warning, there is a very high slit!

I thought the color was beautiful, although it was a little brighter than I wanted. I did not realize that the dress had a slit that went all the way up to the knot!! Maybe I didn't look at the pictures well enough but I did not feel comfortable at all. I also couldn't seem to get the neck and straps to look right on my body. Just wasn't a good fit for me.

Not what I expected....

The fabric on this dress is like a t-shirt.. And it's more of a wrap than a dress. The slit in the side goes all the way up to the hip and it wasn't worth the risk to wear it. It's comfortable, for sure.. But not what I was hoping for...

Very flattering on an hourglass figure!

Overall I loved this dress, but it was very worn and the fabric had "pilling" on it. It wasn't as noticeable to other people, but I could feel it on the dress. My size must have been very popular, but it was time to retire that dress.
