I wore this to present at a Board meeting and it was perfectly formal enough yet felt fashionable at the same time (even got a board member compliment on it!) fit perfect and was a great length.

I sized up after reading reviews. I'm usually a 10/12. I wore a 14. Glad I did. It was a fun and flirty fit & flaire look. I felt classy and ready to take my place on the dance floor. No crazy accessories needed, the texture and color and pattern stand out on this Draper James dress for all the right reasons. Hid imperfections well. No lumps or bumps.

I worse this dress to work and on vacation in DC! It is classy but trendy and stylish. The fabric is thick and the overlay is beautiful. Looked cute with tennis shoes and heels

I loved the quality of the dress and particularly loved how flattering, comfortable and thoughtfully designed it is. No odd proportions, I feel it would be suited for most daily occasions from the office to a Sunday brunch or date night. Not my typical style, but it still made me feel great.

This is my new favorite dress! True to size. It was August and hot and humid but I was pretty comfortable running around in this cute little number. I I'll be looking at more Draper James dresses in the future! Only cons would: the side zipper and the arms felt a little snug. But I have hips and felt very comfy in this one!

I wore this to an 8th grade graduation and liked it! It was appropriate for the setting as you can choose how many buttons you want to button in the front.

Pro- very retro. The pleats in the back make your waist look small, and gives it a tasteful poof. Con- this dress has no stretch. I have a full bust, so I had to wear a minimizing bra to make this work. I also had to use a safety pin to close the gap between the buttons. The waist was a bit tight around my rib cage, but I sucked it up because the dress is gorgeous. Not the most comfortable dress, and I don't think I'd rent this again.

I usually wear a 12 in non- Rent the Runway clothes but I am glad I sized up for the 14 in this dress. The sleeves and chest area are a little snug but fit. This dress has a pretty detailing and seems well made. While it's cute, I am not sure I will rent it again. It was just OK for me.

This dress is very sweet and girly: it's long enough to wear to work. The lace details were really nice and it's comfy because of the flare skirt. Only thing: the button-front did pull a little. Could be an issue for girls with bigger chests.

My favorite out of everything I got in my shipment. Perfect for hourglass figures. Please note that the chest is a little small if you're too busty, mine was pulling at the buttons a little, but i got away with it. But I just love this dress so much!!

There is pleating in the front and back that makes it look adorable. The lace sleeves elevate the look from a regular summer day dress.

The material is thick which is great for an office environment. Loved the embroidered pattern. Only downfall is if you're larger in the chest area then may want to size up. I wear a 4/6 normally and the 8 fit perfectly. Also the length is great for the office.

Love a dress that needs no thought to be perfect on its own. My usual size is a 4, and I got a 6 because it was all that was available but in the end I'm glad I did. No fabric give in waist and shoulders for those who maybe run on a large (or muscular!) side of the equation. 4 would have worked but 6 is def a better fit for those reasons

This dress is charming and flattering. I wore it to work and an event after. The only problem was when I sat down, the buttons did that thing that buttons do, so really, that's the only flaw I had with it.

Wore to a business formal event, lots of compliments—and nice to not be in black! Just a touch short and tight in the bust for me, but can button up to be more conservative. I reinforced front placket with pins.

Darling dress but next time I'm getting a 10, almost could not close the buttons over my bust. I was not the only one who had trouble, judging by the fact one of the buttons was already missing

I love the fit and flair of this dress. So feminine and flattering. This dress hit me right above the knee at 5'2". The only thing I didn't like about the dress, and the reason I ended up not wearing, was that there is no stretch in this fabric, so it created gaps between the buttons in the chest-region. While the gap between the buttons wasn't that bad, it made me self conscious that I may give someone a peek a boob show if I stretched my arms at all. Size up if you have over a C cup!!

I love the school marmish nature of this dress. I tried it in the larger size and do really like it. My husband loves it and my daughter and my friend think it is way too conservative. It is a nice weight and a nice fit.
