I am glad I disregarded the other feedback because these shorts are super flattering for my figure when most shorts are a challenge. I sized up and then purchased! So happy with these

I almost bought these but I'm glad I rented them first. I sized up based on other reviews and I was right in thinking that the belt would camouflage my thicker midsection. They fit well everywhere but were just way too short for my personal preference.

Definitely size up - these shorts run small. If I rented my usual size (4) they would not have fit. Very nice and light chambray material, and the bow make them even cuter! I ended up buying them.

Very casual and cute. Great for a day outside walking around. Comfortable and true to size.

I wanted to love these shorts, they look so cute on other people. Per reviews I ordered a size up and the larger size did fit comfortably. I felt like they looked fine from the side, but enhanced my flaws from the front and showed my butt cheeks when I walked. I did not end up wearing them except to "work" from my home office.

These shorts are adorable, but the reviews are accurate; these shorts run small! I am a 4/6 and ordered an 8. I can zip them, but they are snug. If you like the look of them, go ahead and try them out. Just make sure to order two sizes up. I will keep them.

These shorts are adorable but they are way too small. A 14 is usually baggy on me but these would barely zip shut.

This looked so cute on the model but I should've listened to other reviewers. Despite sizing up, the fit of these was still really odd and uncomfortable. They had a very high rise and were extremely short - too short for me to feel comfortable wearing out of the house.

These shorts are super cute and comfortable. Love the belt! Wore with fancy tops and also with T-shirt's- the perfect shorts to dress up or down depending on the day .

I normally wear a size 10 in J Crew pants. I rented the 14 because of others reviews. The fit OK but they are a side zip. I never do great with side zip for some reason. They may be great on a different body type. Zipper was very difficult to work.

Short for 5'9" but a really cute short and not too booth but not too long. Would rent again but it rode up a little in the crotch

They are really cute shorts, and I would like to rent them again but will go two sizes up. They were well made and seemed high waisted, but I couldn't even zip them so not 100% about how they ultimately look on.

I usually wear a size 8 or a 10 when things run small and I could have definitely gone up another size on these! Very tight if you have more of a bottom.

The shorts were good quality, but much shorter than I thought they'd be. My 5'4", size 4 daughter, fit them perfectly.

I got the size ten and I knew when I took them off the hanger that they wouldn't fit. Tried them on and they were more like a 6.

I wear a 10-12 in shorts and these were very tight at the waist. Fabric and fabrication was nice. I would size up 2 sizes if you want them to sit low enough to cover bottoms of the cheeks ;)

I never wore these because they looked so short, I felt like my butt cheeks were hanging out. I listened to the other reviews and went up to a size 10 when I'm normally a 6-8. So the shorts fit, I just wasn't crazy about how short they were. I feel like such a loser saying this, but I would have worn them confidently at 20, but since I'm 30 I felt they weren't right for me.

These were too tight and way too-high waisted, making them unflattering. I returned without wearing them.

These shorts are mini. I'm a true size 2 and I couldn't even come close to getting the 4s on.

Awful

These shorts are actually horrendous. I picked my usual size, and when I opened them up, my boyfriend looked at them and said "what ARE those, shorts for ants?!? They need to be at least three times bigger than this!" Yes; they are that small. Size up at LEAST once, but even then be prepared for denim underwear.

If you want to rent this then size UP by at least TWO SIZES! I took it out of the bag and immediately thought "is this a juniors size??". Tried it on and it was awful. At least 2-3 sizes too small (and I got a 12 which is my conservative size for pants/shorts).
