This is slimming and flowing and super cute without being too much for work. You can tailor to the situation and keep the buttons open or closed from top to bottom. (For dinner, I opened up the leg slit :)) Loved this!

This is a cute dress. No give to the fabric (mainly matters for chest), but the belt is flattering for the waist. Slits on sides. Buttons easily and doesn't wrinkle. Could be worn year round with booties and a jacket, or sandals. Sleeves are a good length.

I think maybe this just isn't my style. It's very cute but I wore it for a couple of hours and then had to change. I need a little more edge and to not feel like I need to suck it in.

This dress was everything I hoped it would be! It's adorable and unique. The slit does come up a bit high (just above the knee on me) but it didn't bother me. I am typically a 4 and went with a 2 for length and felt like it worked out well...it was a bit snug around the arms but other than that it fit great elsewhere!! Will rent again, especially as it gets warmer and I can throw it on with flat sandals!! Love!!!

This dress is so comfortable, flattering, and super cute. Multiple strangers complimented me! I wore it with tights underneath when it was cold outside and perfectly survived a 30 degree day that led into a night out for drinks and dinner. Love the pockets too!

Rented this dress for a dinner out. It fits true to size. I'm 5'4 and with 1'inch flatforms the dress sat right above the ground. Any shorter the dress may be too long though unless planning to wear with heels. This dress combined two of my favorite things - collars and pockets! It buttons all the way down the front, so I wore it loose on the bottom. Definitely would rent again.

Paired it with dark blue hat for complete look, perfect everyday look.

This has been my favorite RTR dress to date. It was so cute, perfect for family pics and the first day of school. The 6 was honestly big on me (and a touch long) so the 4 would have been perfect, if it was a available. I will probably rent this one again!!

I wore this dress several times- work, date and my birthday . So many compliments. The material feels silky and a wood quality. The belt is attached in back, and buttons all the way up the front. It is a little long , but I wore it with heeled sandal and a flat. Knee high leg slit gives this dress the perfect touch. Cute & classy- Draper James. I love this dress! Would rent again and would love to own.

This might be one of my all time fave rentals. I got so many compliments at work and even my mother wanted to buy the dress for me. If you're short, you are going to need to wear tall wedges or heels because it obviously is long. I would also recommend wearing a slip or good undergarments beneath the dress because I did notice a little gaping when I sat down, in my lap area. Other than that, I loved the dress and would definitely rent it again.

The dress fit perfectly. It something I would never buy but it actually looked great and I got many compliments including my husband. Wore it with sneakers and it wasn't too long.

I am 5'10 so the most impressive thing about this dress was that it actually reached past my ankles in length! It is a wonderful fabric and the pattern is really cute and fun. I loved how it made my body look and I would wear it ALL the time if I owned it. I highly recommend this dress for all body types. I am normally a 12 but I rented a 24 and I liked the extra space for a more fluid hang of the dress.

When I rented this I didn't realize it had a heart pattern. Also didn't know it had a side slit, which just added to its adorableness. I probably could have sized down as there was extra material.

I love this feminine, classic style! Running true to size, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up, for your back up. This style is roomy throughout the midsection and fitted, loose at the hips. It works best for all cup sizes. You are able to wear a standard bra with this dress. At height 5'2, the length hit floor length on me. Pair with flats for a more casual look or heels to dress it is.

Great staple piece. Easy to travel with, doesn't wrinkle! The belted piece helps you adjust it to your waist and the fit is flattering. The side slits are a fun surprise.

I had such high hopes for this dress. The size note says appropriate for height of 5'2 to 5'6. I'm 5'3 and it is far too long. I would need major heels to prevent it from puddling on the floor. The material feels nice but there is no give. The waist and hips fit fine, but the bust was too small. No way that it was going to button closed. There is a knee-height slit on the left leg, but the way the material falls it creates sort of a puckering effect around the slit. I think this dress works best for tall, slender, smaller busted ladies. Sadly, not for me.

At 5'8", maxi dresses can often be too short. This one was the perfect length - less than an inch from touching the ground. Comfortable fit, but no stretch in the material. The print was super cute and fun. Without buttoning the dress all the way down, it did feel like there were a lot of slits, though

The reviews said the dress ran large but I didn't find that to be true. It was a little tight in the sleeve and across the chest (and I don't have super big boobs!) I styled with a tank top underneath (so I could leave more unbuttoned), white jean jacket and blue flats. Wore to a show at the Warner Theatre and dinner beforehand. Easy to walk several blocks in DC between venues. High quality material with lining. Will definitely rent again!

This dress is thick, but the material is very nice. It has side slits which was a little unexpected but fun detail.

The heart shirt dress is such a good weekend spring/summer rental for humid Louisiana. It's easy to wear around town or for a day trip. The belt gives an added definition of waist and the dress is very cute and modest. Perfect for a weekend with family or celebrating a friend's engagement in New Orleans! I wore this dress 3 times! It's the perfect easy outfit! It was a little tight in the sleeves for me but I unbuttoned the very top button and it worked like a charm.

This was a nice shirt dress. Very long, short ladies be prepared to wear heels. The hearts didn't do it for me, but the overall make was excellent. I sent it back before wearing because this didn't suit my style. However not a bad dress.

Fit well, but the bottom half is very long. I'm 5'5 and a bit and it def was hitting the floor. Also, I'm pretty narrow, not much in the hip dept, so that added to the bottom sort of swallowing me up. Still wore it to work and got plenty of compliments.

This is a gorgeous dress with a lovely, unusual heart print that initially looks like polka dots. It looks a bit serious in the picture but I wore it with a bit of cleavage and unbuttoned all the way to my upper thigh so it looked sexy when I sat down and showed some leg! It's pretty long, a full maxi, but great for a day-time event or casual party. Would definitely rent again.

Really well made dress (it's fully lined) and versatile for work or weekend. Got a ton of compliments on the print. Very flattering on me (5'10) but I feel like it would give shorter women the illusion of height as well.

I originally rented this dress for Valentine's Day at work and I loved it so much I held onto it longer for a conference. It's a very comfortable dress, it was slightly tight in my bust so I wore a lower profile bra to help with the gaping in the buttons. The material is a nice weight and has a built in slip that helped it to not be "static-y". I'm excited to rent more Draper James pieces in the future!

The dress fit true to size, which was such a relief! The fabric was so soft and airy, my friends at work couldn't stop touching it. 10/10 will rent again.
