This sweater dress is so comfortable! It's super soft and not itchy at all. It does run true to size, but it depends on how fitted you want it to be because it's super stretchy so you could size down if you wanted a more figure-hugging fit. As a size 8, I thought the Medium was perfect with a straighter fit. The length was also perfect for work and everyday activities.

It is a polo style, but not Ralph Lauren. Forgiving in the waist, which I like.

I'm 5'10" and was 26 weeks pregnant when I rented this dress, so it was a just a tad short. Had I not been pregnant, it would have been a perfect fit! I got several compliments and it was very comfortable!

This is an everyday favorite of mine! The "sweater" fabric is soft and forgivingly-thick but not hot and stifling. The ruffle and glitzy-button details are a fun touch that helps keep me from feeling like Wednesday Adams (lol). I was able to wear a normal bra but it was juuuuust barely fitted enough that I had to be careful of my pantyline.

This dress fit well. I wore it with a belt at the waist.

I loved this dress and thought it would be the first piece I purchased from RTR, however once I wore it for a full day, one of the ruffle flaps kept flapping over instead of staying down. So annoying, so I returned it. I love the look though, it's a not-too-right sweater dress with a little hint of sparkle in the buttons. The flapping was unfortunate. It would have been perfect if the ruffle flaps were sewn down!

This dress was a great fit for my curvy hips! Dresses are often too short for me, but the fit on this was a pleasant surprise. Soft and comfortable to wear. A great lightweight knit for spring- no pilling. I considered purchasing, but still a little more than I wanted it spend.

I thought the front part wasnt as ruffly as it was. Worn to a job interview. Was a bit more casual than I'd like but was warm and a little loose but not so loose that I could fit a medium. Overall good for a business casual office in winter.

Its like an oversize shirt dress. Very comfortable however the behind stretches out by the end of the day and you have a bit of a diaper booty. But still cute!

This is a super soft cotton sweater dress. Really comfortable and it held it shape all day which is a concern for me with this type of material. It was a great weight for the cold weather here. I did wear it for drinks after work and got a little warm but, the dress is so comfortable it didn't matter. The dressy buttons set it apart from just a plain black dress. The ruffle in the front is also a cute touch but, one side flopped over a lot. I actually stapled it into place (fashion tape wouldn't stick) and you couldn't see the staple because of how it folded. I would probably rent this again. Great for a winter day or night, I wore with tights.

I was excited to try this dress because I'm constantly getting Draper James ads on social media, and have been curious about quality and fit. This is a very well made dress - the knit is thick and falls nicely (sometimes sweater dresses have a tendency to cling). I liked the neckline - the buttons are functional, and with most left unbuttoned it creates a flattering V. But overall, the fit was a bit too loose and dumpy. I rented a size L, which is my most typical RTR size, but the fit is more aligned with mall-type stores than many of the brands carried here, so M may have been better, but it may just be kind of a shapeless sack in any size. Also, I wore it in the spring with flats, and suspect it may be better styled with tights and boots in the winter.

Cute dress, but the fabric is wool. Looks like a summer dress because of the short sleeves but there is no way you can wear this in the south in the summer!

This was a well-fitting dress, but it is a thick, sweater material with rhinestone buttons down the neckline. It is really made for the winter with tights.
