I think this dress runs true to size for a european fit but it runs smaller than most dresses you see in stores here. it looked great and was made extremely well. my one complaint would be that there is a white tag under the lining of the dress that you can see through the top layer. I put a piece of black tape over the tag so that it wasn't glaring through the dress. also it needs a slip. overall, i very happy with the dress and loved wearing it! it's a formal dress with a lot of style - the zipper in the back is really cool.

This dress was comfortable and I received a lot of compliments! I was worried about how it would fit because I'm a size 10 and a bit busty but the shape and fit were great. I would definitely rent this dress again if I had a different event to wear it to.

I rented this dress to wear at my friend's bachelorette party. I got so many complements on this dress. I felt beautiful, and sexy but still classy. The only warning I have about this dress is that it is very delicate. Be careful when sitting or bending down. The lace overlay is a very delicate material and will rip easily. I would not do too much physical activity in this dress for that reason. So be careful if you go dancing in this dress.

Felt happy for the bride but secretly happier for myself as I sat quietly listening to the exchange of vows. D&G. Gorgeous, classic in look and feel. Fit true to European sizing. My height and large bust were perfect for this dress. It was short without being inappropriate. I was sexy without being too revealing. Slip included in rental keeps everything well hidden. Very delicate so watch out for anything that might snag the fabric. Gentle with the dancing, the fabric seemed soft yet fragile. The white zipper in the back keeps the lace hip rather than old fashioned. I would recommend this dress even to the bride; although her dress did steal the show.

I wore this dress to a rehersal dinner and got so many compliments. I am a true hourglass shape and since the bottom of the dress has zero stretch at all, I ended up wearing the size up that I ordered as my back up, which made the top a little too big, but becuase of the sheer nature of the dress, it still looked great. I would recomend this dress to anyone.

Loved the dress! Was very pretty and had a great sliming fit. I'm 5"3" and 115lbs and I wore the size 6. It was a little snug but not uncomfortable and the size 8 would not work because the slip hung too low on the chest and didn't have quite the same look. Would rent again.

Definitely ran small. I usually wear an 8 but had to go up a size to feel comfortable. A beautiful dress, but very sheer. Other reviewers are right - a black slip is a must!

I loved this dress. Just like Jessie, I am normally at 2 or a 4 but the 6 ended up fitting me. I am proportionally curvy and this dress was super flattering to my curves and slimming at the same time. My only complaint was that upper half of the back of the dress didn't fit as it should. I'm someone who almost always has to shorten shoulder straps all my clothes. The back didn't sit on the top of my shoulders as it should, but just stuck up a little. The front of the dress fit perfectly and the problem with the back was fairly subtle. I would definitely rent this dress again.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! However it definitely runs small. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and definitely needed a 6 or 8. The top gave me "wings" unless I held my arms the way the model does in the picture and the slip is VERY short with a slit that shows way too much butt. I'd recommend ordering 1 size up and having a black slip handy. I'd definitely try renting it again for another occasion - this time in size 6!

Very cute dress but just a caution, it's very sheer! You will need to wear a black slip dress underneath. Other than that, it's comfortable and beautiful.

I love this dress! It is so sexy and fun, I got so many compliments. I would caution that all 3 layers are very sheer though. As for size, I thought it ran a bit small if you go off of the RTR conversion chart. If you know your Italian sizing, it is true to size.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding and I loved it. I got many compliments of it and it was very comfortable and easy to dance in. It fit very true to size.

I got this dress as a backup, but after trying it on I decided I had to find another event to wear this to! I went out to a nice dinner with it. It is in 2 pieces, the bottom slip and the top meshy part. It was a bit tight up top, but I have a bigger bust. Also, the bottom slip seemed slightly see through. But overall I would recommend this dress! it is a great piece!

I was so wary of this dress because everyone on this website kept claiming it ran small. I am always a size 0/2, but I ordered the 38 and the 40 because everyone else was freaking out about how it was impossible to fit in. The 40 was so large on me it was unwearable, and I was still swimming in the 38 but I didn't want to waste it so I just belted it and tried to act like I was going for a baggy look. It was a beautiful dress, when I pulled back the excess fabric and saw how it would look if it fit me. It was not sheer either because it comes with a matte black slip. If you are a size 0, get the 36!!

The dress was very pretty, but I felt almost like I was wearing lingerie until I found a shawl to wear with it that had the same sheer fabric as the top. I am between a 6 and an 8, and while both fit I could hardly breath in the 6. I liked that this was very different from something I would normally wear. I would recommend it for an event with a younger crowd and later in the evening; definitely a bit to racy for a work party.

I didn't wear this, I didn't have a back up size and the dress was too small in the hip area. It was also much shorter than pictured on the model.

The dress is beautiful, but has no give at all. I have a larger bust so I had to size up, but then the bigger dress didn't fit the rest of my body correctly.

I wasn't aware that this dress is completely see through so it kind of worked out that the size didn't fit. Make sure you order a size bigger than what you normally wear (or maybe I just have big hips).

I love Dolce and Gabbana, but did not like this dress. I didn't think that it ran small, but it just wasn't as flattering as other dresses that I've rented from RTR. This probably looks better on someone with a bigger bust; I an A/B and the dress just looked blah. As another reviewer noted, the upper back doesn't fit a short torso well. Thankfully, this was my backup dress. I LOVE the Philosophy Charlotte chiffon dress; it hugs curves better and has a similar sexy/sophisticated vibe.
